refer_v to_o such_o thing_n as_o be_v to_o continue_v but_o only_o for_o a_o long_a time_n as_o may_v be_v see_v exod._n 12._o 14_o 24._o &_o 21._o 6._o numb_a 15._o 15._o sometime_o also_o the_o same_o phrase_n be_v take_v proper_o and_o not_o tropical_o and_o then_o they_o be_v still_o refer_v to_o such_o thing_n as_o have_v no_o end_n at_o all_o yea_o thus_o these_o phrase_n for_o ever_o for_o ever_o and_o ever_o be_v take_v in_o the_o former_a passage_n concern_v the_o personal_a humane_a kingdom_n of_o christ_n and_o so_o the_o meaning_n of_o they_o be_v that_o this_o kingdom_n of_o he_o shall_v have_v no_o end_n at_o all_o and_o it_o be_v plain_o say_v in_o some_o of_o those_o passage_n once_o and_o again_o that_o this_o kingdon_n of_o his_o shall_v have_v no_o end_n isai_n 9_o 7._o luk._n 1._o 33._o by_o which_o latter_a phrase_n we_o must_v expound_v the_o two_o former_a that_o we_o may_v not_o consent_v to_o the_o blasphemy_n of_o those_o who_o say_v that_o the_o personal_a kingdom_n of_o christ_n whether_o divine_a or_o humane_a shall_v continue_v but_o only_o for_o a_o time_n thus_o much_o of_o this_o kingdom_n of_o christ_n by_o way_n use_v of_o doctrine_n in_o seven_o ground_n or_o proposition_n i_o shall_v also_o speak_v something_o by_o way_n of_o application_n according_a to_o my_o promise_n and_o first_o this_o doctrine_n shall_v admonish_v all_o to_o beware_v lest_o we_o entertain_v any_o erroneous_a opinion_n in_o our_o mind_n in_o reference_n to_o this_o kingdom_n of_o he_o and_o far_o be_v it_o from_o we_o to_o think_v 1._o that_o christ_n personal_a kingdom_n shall_v be_v only_o a_o spiritual_a kingdom_n 2._o that_o christ_n shall_v have_v a_o personal_a humane_a kingdom_n in_o this_o world_n 3._o that_o he_o shall_v have_v no_o personal_a humane_a kingdom_n in_o the_o world_n to_o come_v 4._o that_o his_o personal_a humane_a kingdom_n shall_v have_v a_o end_n for_o all_o these_o opinion_n be_v contrary_a to_o the_o former_a ground_n and_o to_o the_o
truth_n itself_o therefore_o beware_v of_o they_o second_o this_o doctrine_n shall_v humble_v all_o such_o as_o be_v enemy_n to_o christ_n spiritual_a personal_a kingdom_n in_o this_o world_n and_o will_v not_o submit_v unto_o it_o nor_o suffer_v he_o to_o reign_v over_o they_o by_o his_o word_n and_o spirit_n sure_o such_o person_n without_o repentance_n and_o without_o a_o pardon_n shall_v suffer_v for_o it_o when_o christ_n shall_v come_v into_o his_o personal_a humane_a kingdom_n and_o so_o much_o we_o may_v gather_v from_o the_o prophet_n commination_n in_o psal_n 2._o for_o there_o he_o tell_v we_o of_o some_o that_o do_v rage_n and_o imagine_v a_o vain_a thing_n and_o band_n themselves_o together_o not_o only_o against_o the_o lord_n and_o against_o his_o christ_n but_o also_o against_o the_o law_n of_o his_o spiritual_a kingdom_n say_v let_v we_o break_v their_o band_n in_o sunder_o and_o cast_v away_o their_o cord_n from_o we_o verse_n 1_o 2_o 3._o and_o show_v withal_o how_o christ_n shall_v deal_v with_o such_o unless_o they_o repent_v in_o his_o personal_a humane_a kingdom_n viz._n how_o he_o shall_v break_v they_o with_o a_o rod_n of_o iron_n and_o dash_v they_o that_o he_o shall_v raise_v the_o dead_a saint_n a_o thousand_o year_n before_o the_o rest_n of_o the_o dead_a that_o they_o may_v reign_v with_o he_o thus_o one_o error_n conceive_v gender_n many_o but_o our_o saviour_n himself_o have_v sufficient_o confute_v these_o opinionist_n in_o one_o say_v when_o speak_v of_o his_o humane_a kingdom_n he_o say_v my_o kingdom_n be_v not_o of_o this_o world_n how_o then_o can_v they_o prove_v that_o christ_n shall_v have_v a_o humane_a kingdom_n in_o this_o world_n and_o if_o they_o will_v but_o consider_v far_o what_o have_v be_v say_v for_o the_o clear_n of_o this_o second_o ground_n it_o may_v be_v that_o they_o may_v be_v be_v the_o better_o convince_v of_o their_o error_n three_o i_o affirm_v that_o this_o personal-humane_a ground_n 3_o of_o the_o son_n and_o from_o the_o personal_a humane_a kingdom_n of_o the_o son_n unto_o the_o personal_a kingdom_n of_o the_o father_n and_o so_o much_o i_o learn_v from_o those_o word_n of_o our_o now_o it_o be_v which_o condition_n of_o the_o good_a angel_n may_v inform_v use_n we_o first_o that_o the_o humane_a nature_n in_o christ_n shall_v in_o dignity_n far_o excel_v the_o good_a angel_n in_o the_o world_n to_o come_v for_o we_o be_v sure_a that_o these_o angel_n shall_v serve_v christ_n and_o administer_v unto_o he_o but_o we_o be_v not_o sure_a that_o christ_n shall_v serve_v they_o in_o the_o world_n to_o come_v and_o we_o know_v that_o christ_n be_v now_o for_o the_o present_a above_o these_o angel_n in_o his_o humane_a nature_n at_o his_o father_n right_a hand_n and_o that_o he_o take_v not_o upon_o he_o the_o nature_n of_o angel_n but_o the_o seed_n of_o abraham_n and_o the_o nature_n of_o mankind_n and_o therefore_o he_o shall_v still_o be_v above_o the_o angel_n in_o his_o humane_a nature_n and_o albeit_o during_o the_o time_n of_o his_o humiliation_n he_o be_v make_v a_o little_a low_o than_o the_o angel_n that_o he_o may_v suffer_v in_o the_o flesh_n yet_o now_o he_o be_v exalt_v above_o they_o and_o shall_v be_v crown_v with_o glory_n and_o dignity_n above_o they_o in_o the_o world_n to_o come_v for_o ever_o again_o this_o condition_n of_o the_o good_a angel_n in_o the_o world_n to_o come_v may_v inform_v we_o that_o the_o adopt_a child_n of_o god_n have_v great_a cause_n to_o be_v thankful_a for_o the_o perseverance_n of_o these_o angel_n in_o the_o state_n of_o grace_n for_o that_o god_n have_v keep_v they_o hitherto_o in_o their_o holy_a station_n that_o so_o they_o may_v be_v helpful_a to_o we_o by_o their_o ministry_n both_o in_o this_o world_n and_o in_o the_o world_n to_o come_v and_o though_o our_o fleshly_a nature_n be_v not_o sensible_a of_o the_o ministry_n of_o these_o angel_n yet_o we_o shall_v believe_v according_a to_o the_o scripture_n that_o god_n do_v make_v their_o ministry_n beneficial_a to_o his_o adopt_a once_o in_o this_o life_n divers_a way_n sometime_o for_o instruction_n as_o he_o send_v a_o good_a angel_n to_o instruct_v the_o shepherd_n concern_v the_o birth_n of_o christ_n luk._n 2._o another_o to_o instruct_v the_o woman_n concern_v his_o resurrection_n another_o to_o instruct_v his_o disciple_n touch_v his_o ascension_n act._n 1._o 11._o sometime_o for_o direction_n as_o he_o send_v a_o good_a angel_n to_o direct_v lot_n what_o course_n to_o take_v for_o his_o own_o and_o his_o family_n safety_n sometime_o for_o protection_n as_o it_o be_v write_v the_o angel_n of_o the_o lord_n encamp_v about_o they_o that_o fear_v he_o sometime_o for_o deliverance_n as_o he_o send_v a_o and_o the_o wicked_a of_o the_o elect_n and_o reprobate_n in_o the_o world_n to_o come_v and_o this_o different_a condition_n of_o they_o may_v be_v consider_v more_o general_o and_o more_o special_o the_o general_a difference_n that_o shall_v be_v betwixt_o they_o may_v be_v express_v in_o these_o two_o proposition_n god_n elect_n shall_v be_v bless_v in_o the_o world_n to_o come_v reprobate_n shall_v be_v in_o this_o world_n but_o also_o of_o all_o their_o former_a godly_a and_o familiar_a friend_n as_o such_o shall_v abound_v with_o spiritual_a light_n in_o that_o world_n now_o it_o be_v probable_a that_o god_n elect_a in_o the_o world_n to_o come_v shall_v have_v all_o comfortable_a knowledge_n not_o only_o of_o all_o the_o faithful_a which_o have_v be_v be_v or_o shall_v be_v in_o this_o world_n but_o also_o of_o all_o their_o former_a godly_a and_o familiar_a friend_n as_o such_o and_o to_o strengthen_v this_o probability_n i_o refer_v the_o reader_n to_o these_o three_o place_n of_o scripture_n first_o it_o be_v say_v of_o reprobate_n that_o they_o shall_v see_v abraham_n and_o isaac_n and_o jacob_n and_o all_o the_o prophet_n in_o the_o kingdom_n of_o god_n luke_n 13._o 28._o and_o shall_v they_o not_o see_v they_o so_o as_o to_o know_v they_o yes_o second_o it_o be_v say_v in_o the_o parable_n of_o dives_n that_o he_o see_v abraham_n a_o 23_o luk._n 16._o 23_o far_o off_o and_o lazarus_n in_o his_o bosom_n and_o do_v he_o not_o see_v they_o so_o as_o to_o know_v they_o yes_o and_o if_o reprobate_n shall_v have_v such_o knowledge_n of_o the_o saint_n in_o they_o that_o shall_v not_o want_v any_o light_n of_o holiness_n and_o righteousness_n in_o the_o world_n to_o come_v shall_v abound_v with_o spiritual_a light_n in_o that_o will_v see_v the_o light_n of_o holiness_n be_v a_o spiritual_a kind_n of_o light_n now_o god_n elect_n shall_v not_o want_v any_o light_n of_o holiness_n and_o righteousness_n in_o that_o world_n because_o god_n shall_v bring_v forth_o their_o righteousness_n as_o the_o light_n and_o their_o judgement_n as_o the_o noonday_n psal_n 37._o 6._o ergo_fw-la 15._o they_o that_o shall_v not_o want_v any_o light_n of_o god_n they_o apply_v unto_o the_o latter_a time_n now_o in_o all_o this_o they_o do_v but_o delude_v themselves_o and_o the_o world_n as_o may_v be_v see_v in_o these_o particular_n 1._o whereas_o they_o boast_v of_o new_a light_n receive_v in_o this_o they_o do_v but_o juggle_v and_o put_v light_a for_o darkness_n for_o it_o be_v well_o know_v that_o their_o dark_a error_n be_v shroud_v under_o this_o notion_n of_o new_a light_n and_o though_o they_o varnish_v they_o what_o they_o can_v with_o a_o semblance_n of_o light_n yet_o that_o light_n which_o seem_v to_o to_o be_v in_o they_o be_v but_o spiritual_a darkness_n and_o if_o so_o how_o great_a be_v that_o darkness_n 2._o whereas_o they_o say_v that_o the_o latter_a time_n shall_v genera_o abound_v with_o spiritual_a light_n more_o than_o the_o former_a in_o this_o there_o can_v be_v no_o truth_n because_o the_o new_a testament_n show_v that_o the_o latter_a time_n shall_v genera_o abound_v with_o atheism_n error_n and_o iniquity_n more_o than_o the_o former_a now_o atheism_n error_n and_o iniquity_n be_v so_o many_o branch_n of_o spiritual_a darkness_n and_o if_o the_o latter_a time_n shall_v genera_o abound_v with_o spiritual_a darkness_n more_o than_o the_o former_a how_o can_v they_o generaly_a abound_v with_o spiritual_a light_n more_o than_o the_o former_a indeed_o i_o conceive_v that_o some_o particular_a truth_n relate_v to_o the_o world_n to_o come_v shall_v be_v more_o plain_o discover_v towards_o the_o end_n of_o this_o world_n by_o ordinary_a teacher_n then_o former_o they_o have_v be_v by_o such_o teacher_n and_o in_o this_o sense_n knowledge_n may_v be_v increase_v about_o the_o time_n of_o the_o end_n as_o the_o prophet_n daniel_n speak_v dan._n 12._o 4._o yet_o we_o may_v not_o infer_v from_o hence_o that_o the_o latter_a time_n shall_v genera_o abound_v with_o spiritual_a light_n more_o than_o the_o former_a 3._o whereas_o they_o say_v that_o the_o ordinary_a sort_n of_o saint_n shall_v short_o have_v as_o much_o spiritual_a light_n as_o the_o apostle_n themselves_o have_v if_o not_o more_o there_o can_v be_v no_o truth_n in_o this_o neither_o because_o the_o apostle_n be_v teach_v of_o god_n immediate_o in_o a_o extraordinary_a way_n whereas_o the_o ordinary_a sort_n of_o saint_n be_v now_o teach_v of_o he_o but_o mediate_o in_o a_o ordinary_a way_n and_o it_o be_v against_o reason_n to_o think_v that_o this_o latter_a way_n of_o teach_v shall_v produce_v more_o spiritual_a light_a theâ—_n the_o former_a or_o as_o much_o but_o the_o truth_n be_v that_o in_o the_o apostle_n write_n be_v many_o thing_n so_o hard_o to_o be_v understand_v that_o many_o ordinary_a saint_n at_o this_o day_n with_o all_o their_o spiritual_a light_n can_v attain_v to_o the_o right_a understanding_n of_o they_o 4._o whereas_o they_o say_v that_o the_o saint_n of_o latter_a time_n shall_v have_v no_o need_n of_o pastor_n and_o teacher_n for_o to_o instruct_v they_o this_o be_v point_n blank_a against_o our_o savior_n doctrine_n and_o practice_n for_o he_o have_v not_o only_o ordain_v that_o public_a pastor_n and_o teacher_n shall_v be_v continue_v in_o the_o church_n to_o the_o end_n of_o the_o world_n ephes_n 4._o 13._o but_o also_o have_v promise_v to_o be_v with_o they_o unto_o the_o end_n of_o the_o world_n mat._n 28._o 20._o 5._o whereas_o they_o say_v that_o the_o fullness_n of_o spiritual_a light_n promise_v in_o the_o word_n be_v to_o be_v exhibit_v in_o the_o latter_a time_n this_o be_v a_o mere_a delusion_n too_o for_o it_o may_v appear_v by_o that_o which_o have_v be_v former_o say_v that_o the_o fullness_n of_o spiritual_a light_n promise_v appertain_v to_o the_o world_n to_o come_v and_o not_o to_o this_o present_a world_n wherefore_o we_o shall_v not_o hearken_v to_o such_o as_o speak_v and_o boast_v so_o much_o of_o new_a light_n again_o it_o may_v inform_v we_o that_o the_o world_n to_o come_v be_v much_o to_o be_v desire_v of_o all_o good_a christian_n as_o in_o other_o respect_n so_o in_o respect_n of_o that_o spiritual_a light_n which_o shall_v abound_v in_o it_o this_o world_n we_o know_v be_v much_o desire_v of_o some_o in_o respect_n of_o that_o natural_a and_o bodily_a light_n which_o may_v be_v enjoy_v in_o it_o for_o true_o the_o light_n be_v sweet_a and_o a_o pleasant_a thing_n it_o be_v remain_v upon_o they_o and_o this_o darkness_n of_o they_o be_v call_v in_o scripture_n the_o midst_n of_o darkness_n it_o may_v be_v because_o they_o shall_v not_o know_v how_o to_o come_v forth_o
