strait_o charge_v they_o to_o make_v the_o say_a confirmation_n and_o to_o perform_v all_o that_o to_o their_o office_n belong_v as_o also_o to_o the_o bishop_n elect_n that_o they_o on_o their_o part_n effectual_o prosecute_v their_o confirmation_n that_o through_o default_n of_o such_o metropolitan_o or_o bishop_n elect_v damage_n or_o prejudice_n may_v not_o ensue_v to_o our_o lord_n king_n 16._o in_o which_o there_o be_v this_o clause_n viz._n and_o that_o it_o may_v be_v also_o enact_v by_o authority_n of_o this_o present_a parliament_n that_o all_o arch_a bishop_n and_o bishop_n of_o this_o realm_n or_o of_o any_o the_o king_n dominion_n consecrate_a and_o at_o this_o present_a time_n take_v and_o repute_v for_o archbishop_n and_o bishop_n may_v by_o authority_n of_o this_o present_a parliament_n and_o not_o by_o virtue_n of_o any_o provision_n or_o other_o foreign_a authority_n licence_n faculty_n or_o dispensation_n keep_v enjoy_v and_o retain_v their_o archbishoprics_a in_o as_o large_a and_o ample_a manner_n as_o if_o they_o have_v be_v promote_v elect_v and_o consecrate_v according_a to_o the_o due_a course_n of_o the_o law_n of_o this_o realm_n and_o that_o every_o archbishop_n and_o bishop_n of_o this_o realm_n and_o of_o other_o the_o king_n dominion_n may_v minister_v use_n and_o exercise_n all_o and_o every_o thing_n and_o thing_n pertain_v to_o the_o office_n or_o order_n of_o a_o arch_a bishop_n and_o bishop_n with_o all_o token_n ensign_n and_o ceremony_n thereunto_o lawful_o belong_v this_o act_n in_o the_o 2d_o paragraph_n have_v make_v void_a all_o bull_n dispensation_n breves_fw-la etc._n etc._n obtain_v at_o rome_n contrary_a to_o the_o statute_n of_o praemunire_n &_o provisor_n whereby_o many_o bishopric_n will_v have_v become_v void_a to_o prevent_v which_o the_o clause_n here_o recite_v make_v they_o legal_a bishop_n notwithstanding_o and_o supply_v all_o the_o ceremony_n of_o election_n and_o consecration_n which_o i_o suppose_v no_o man_n will_v take_v upon_o he_o to_o say_v that_o the_o king_n may_v then_o
