to_o six_o kourour_n of_o roupies_n a_o roupy_n be_v about_o twenty_o nine_o penny_n a_o hundred_o thousand_o of_o they_o make_v a_o lecque_fw-fr and_o a_o hundred_o lecque_n make_v one_o kourour_n money_n it_o be_v true_a i_o do_v not_o comprehend_v in_o this_o great_a treasure_n that_o great_a abundance_n of_o goldsmith_n work_n so_o various_o wrought_v in_o gold_n and_o silver_n nor_o that_o vast_a store_n of_o precious_a stone_n and_o pearl_n of_o a_o very_a high_a value_n i_o doubt_v whether_o there_o be_v any_o king_n in_o the_o world_n that_o have_v more_o the_o throne_n alone_o ancient_a prince_n the_o patans_n and_o rajas_n gather_v and_o pile_v up_o from_o immemorial_n time_n and_o still_o increase_v from_o one_o king_n to_o another_o by_o the_o present_n which_o the_o omrahs_n be_v oblige_v yearly_o at_o certain_a festival-day_n to_o make_v he_o and_o which_o be_v esteem_v to_o be_v the_o jewel_n of_o the_o crown_n which_o it_o will_v be_v criminal_a to_o touch_v they_o call_v jah-ghirs_a or_o as_o in_o turkey_n timars_n to_o man_n of_o the_o militia_n for_o their_o pay_n or_o pension_n as_o the_o word_n jah-ghir_a import_v or_o else_o they_o be_v give_v to_o the_o governor_n for_o their_o pension_n and_o the_o entertainment_n of_o their_o troop_n on_o condition_n that_o of_o the_o surplus_n of_o those_o land-revenue_n they_o give_v yearly_o a_o certain_a sum_n to_o the_o king_n as_o farmer_n or_o last_o the_o king_n reserve_v they_o for_o himself_o as_o a_o particular_a domain_a of_o his_o house_n which_o never_o or_o very_a seldom_o be_v give_v as_o jah-ghirs_a and_o upon_o which_o he_o keep_v farmer_n who_o also_o must_v give_v he_o a_o yearly_a sum_n which_o be_v to_o say_v that_o the_o timariot_n governor_n and_o farmer_n have_v a_o absolute_a authority_n over_o the_o countryman_n and_o even_o a_o very_a great_a one_o over_o the_o tradesman_n and_o merchant_n of_o the_o town_n borough_n and_o village_n depend_v from_o they_o so_o that_o in_o those_o part_n there_o be_v neither_o great_a lord_n nor_o parliament_n nor_o presidial_a court_n as_o among_o we_o to_o keep_v these_o people_n in_o awe_n nor_o kadis_n or_o judge_n powerful_a enough_o to_o hinder_v and_o repress_v their_o violence_n nor_o in_o a_o word_n any_o person_n to_o who_o a_o countryman_n tradesman_n or_o merchant_n can_v make_v his_o complaint_n to_o in_o case_n of_o extortion_n and_o tyranny_n often_o practise_v upon_o they_o by_o the_o soldiery_n and_o governor_n who_o every_o where_o do_v impune_o abuse_v the_o authority_n royal_a which_o they_o have_v mean_v in_o their_o apparel_n lodging_n householdstuff_n and_o yet_o more_o in_o meat_n and_o drink_n that_o often_o they_o apprehend_v even_o to_o meddle_v with_o trade_n lest_o they_o shall_v be_v
