special_a which_o be_v engrave_v upon_o the_o forehead_n of_o his_o holy_a sabbath_n jerusalem_n remember_v with_o regret_n of_o heart_n in_o the_o day_n of_o her_o affliction_n and_o misery_n all_o and_o thus_o he_o do_v concern_v the_o sabbath_n and_o yet_o wisdom_n mind_n be_v plain_a enough_o to_o they_o that_o understand_v nor_o do_v i_o doubt_v but_o that_o those_o scripture_n which_o be_v sometime_o allege_v for_o the_o change_n of_o the_o sabbath_n although_o at_o first_o blush_n they_o may_v not_o seem_v to_o hear_v up_o the_o weight_n of_o this_o cause_n yet_o be_v thorough_o consider_v they_o be_v not_o only_o sufficient_a to_o establish_v modest_a mind_n but_o be_v also_o such_o as_o may_v 〈◊〉_d 〈◊〉_d 〈◊〉_d 〈◊〉_d 〈◊〉_d or_o stop_v the_o mouth_n even_o of_o wrangler_n themselves_o thesis_n 25._o i_o do_v not_o think_v that_o the_o exercise_n of_o holy_a duty_n on_o a_o day_n argue_v that_o such_o a_o day_n be_v the_o christian_a sabbath_n day_n for_o the_o apostle_n preach_v common_o upon_o the_o jewish_a sabbath_n sometime_o upon_o the_o first_o day_n of_o the_o week_n also_o and_o therefore_o the_o bare_a exercise_n of_o holy_a duty_n on_o a_o day_n notwithstanding_o although_o holy_a duty_n on_o a_o day_n do_v not_o argue_v such_o a_o day_n to_o be_v our_o sabbath_n yet_o that_o day_n which_o be_v set_v apart_o for_o sabbath_n service_n rather_o than_o any_o other_o day_n and_o be_v honour_v above_o any_o other_o day_n for_o that_o end_n sure_o such_o a_o day_n be_v the_o christian_a sabbath_n now_o if_o it_o may_v appear_v that_o the_o first_o day_n of_o the_o week_n be_v thus_o honour_v then_o certain_o it_o be_v to_o be_v account_v the_o christian_a sabbath_n thesis_n 27._o the_o primitive_a pattern_n church_n thus_o honour_v the_o fi●st_a day_n of_o the_o week_n and_o what_o they_o practise_v without_o reproof_n that_o the_o apostle_n who_o plant_v those_o church_n enjoin_v and_o preach_v unto_o they_o so_o to_o do_v at_o least_o in_o such_o weighty_a matter_n as_o the_o change_n of_o day_n of_o prefer_v one_o before_o that_o other_o which_o the_o lord_n have_v honour_v before_o and_o what_o the_o apostle_n preach_v their_o commission_n to_o teach_v that_o to_o other_o which_o christ_n never_o command_v which_o be_v blasphemous_a to_o imagine_v for_o though_o they_o may_v err_v in_o practice_n as_o man_n and_o as_o peter_n do_v at_o antioch_n and_o paul_n and_o barnabas_n in_o their_o contention_n yet_o in_o in_o their_o public_a ministry_n they_o be_v infallible_o and_o extraordinary_o assist_v especial_o in_o such_o thing_n which_o they_o hold_v forth_o as_o pattern_n for_o after_o time_n if_o therefore_o the_o primitive_a church_n thus_o honour_v the_o first_o day_n of_o the_o week_n above_o any_o other_o day_n for_o sabbath_n service_n then_o certain_o they_o be_v institute_v and_o teach_v thus_o to_o do_v by_o the_o apostle_n approve_v of_o they_o herein_o and_o what_o the_o apostle_n teach_v the_o church_n that_o the_o lord_n jesus_n command_v to_o the_o apostle_n so_o that_o the_o approve_a practice_n of_o the_o church_n herein_o show_v what_o be_v the_o doctrine_n of_o the_o apostle_n and_o the_o doctrine_n of_o the_o apostle_n show_v what_o be_v the_o command_n of_o christ_n so_o that_o the_o sanctification_n of_o this_o fi●st_a day_n of_o the_o week_n be_v no_o humane_a tradition_n but_o a_o divine_a institution_n from_o christ_n himself_o thesis_n 28._o that_o the_o church_n honour_v this_o day_n above_o any_o other_o shall_v appear_v in_o its_o place_n as_o also_o that_o the_o apostle_n command_v they_o so_o to_o do_v yet_o mr._n primrose_n say_v that_o this_o latter_a be_v doubtful_a and_o mr._n ironside_n not_o question_v the_o matter_n fall_v off_o with_o another_o evasion_n viz._n that_o they_o act_v herein_o not_o as_o apostle_n but_o as_o ordinary_a pastor_n and_o consequent_o as_o fallible_a man_n 89._o not_o only_o in_o command_v this_o change_n of_o the_o sabba●h_n but_o in_o all_o other_o matter_n of_o church_n government_n among_o which_o he_o reckon_v this_o of_o the_o sabbath_n to_o be_v one_o which_o he_o think_v be_v impose_v according_a to_o their_o private_a wisdom_n as_o most_o fit_a for_o those_o time_n but_o not_o by_o any_o apostolical_a commission_n as_o concern_v all_o time_n but_o to_o imagine_v that_o matter_n of_o church-government_n in_o the_o apostle_n day_n weet_v coat_n for_o the_o moon_n in_o respect_n of_o aftertime_n and_o that_o the_o form_n of_o it_o be_v mutable_a as_o he_o will_v have_v it_o i_o suppose_v will_v be_v digest_v by_o few_o honest_a and_o sober_a mind_n in_o these_o time_n unless_o they_o be_v bias_v for_o a_o season_n by_o politic_a end_n and_o therefore_o herein_o i_o will_v not_o now_o contend_v one●y_v it_o may_v be_v consider_v whether_o any_o private_a spirit_n can_v abolish_v that_o day_n which_o from_o the_o beginning_n of_o the_o world_n god_n so_o high_o honour_v and_o then_o honour_n and_o advance_v another_o day_n above_o it_o and_o sanctify_v it_o too_o as_o shall_v be_v prove_v for_o religious_a service_n can_v any_o do_v this_o just_o but_o by_o immediate_a dispensation_n from_o the_o lord_n christ_n jesus_n and_o if_o the_o apostle_n do_v thus_o receive_v it_o immediate_o from_o christ_n and_o so_o teach_v the_o observation_n of_o it_o they_o can_v not_o then_o teach_v it_o as_o fallible_a man_n and_o as_o private_a pastor_n as_o he_o will_v have_v it_o a_o pernicious_a conceit_n enough_o to_o undermine_v the_o faith_n of_o god_n elect_v in_o many_o matter_n more_o weighty_a than_o this_o of_o the_o sabbath_n thesis_n 29._o to_o know_v when_o and_o where_o the_o lord_n christ_n instruct_v his_o desciple_n concern_v this_o appertain_v to_o the_o kingdom_n of_o god_n why_o shall_v we_o doubt_v but_o that_o within_o the_o space_n of_o his_o forty_o day_n abode_n with_o they_o after_o his_o resurrection_n he_o then_o
