minister_n let_v this_o suffice_v they_o they_o be_v the_o man_n that_o must_v declare_v unto_o man_n his_o righteousness_n even_o he_o that_o scorn_v and_o contemn_v the_o ministry_n he_o have_v no_o righteousness_n in_o he_o unless_o it_o be_v by_o the_o mean_n of_o a_o poor_a minister_n then_o do_v thou_o thy_o duty_n and_o be_v that_o mock_n thou_o have_v cause_n to_o honour_v thou_o and_o let_v this_o encourage_v student_n to_o consecrate_v themselves_o student_n to_o the_o ministry_n for_o what_o calling_n have_v so_o high_a a_o office_n as_o this_o to_o declare_v unto_o man_n his_o so_o it_o may_v confess_v the_o secret_a wickedness_n of_o it_o for_o the_o papist_n do_v not_o think_v we_o protestant_n great_a enemy_n to_o their_o superstition_n than_o the_o inward_a corruption_n ourselves_o &_o look_v homeward_o even_o into_o our_o own_o heart_n and_o confess_v every_o one_o that_o these_o shall_v have_v be_v even_o thy_o sin_n also_o if_o god_n grace_n have_v not_o prevent_v thou_o this_o will_v humble_v thou_o and_o make_v thou_o think_v vile_o &_o base_o of_o thyself_o and_o so_o consequent_o bring_v thou_o to_o repentance_n and_o true_a amendment_n and_o the_o very_a reason_n why_o man_n repent_v not_o nor_o amend_v their_o way_n be_v because_o they_o be_v pharisy_n by_o nature_n and_o think_v high_o of_o themselves_o and_o of_o their_o own_o nature_n and_o and_o they_o thank_v god_n they_o be_v not_o as_o ill_o as_o other_o but_o let_v all_o such_o man_n know_v they_o must_v cease_v magnify_v nature_n and_o learn_v to_o magnify_v god_n grace_n let_v they_o know_v that_o nature_n in_o they_o be_v in_o the_o root_n as_o much_o corrupt_a as_o in_o the_o worst_a man_n in_o the_o world_n and_o every_o man_n heart_n be_v a_o bottomless_a fountain_n of_o all_o sin_n therefore_o praise_v not_o thy_o nature_n but_o god_n grace_n and_o mercy_n in_o give_v thou_o so_o good_a a_o nature_n or_o rather_o so_o well_o restrain_v and_o rectify_v thy_o who_o will_v true_o search_v himself_o be_v that_o every_o man_n bear_v of_o adam_n be_v by_o nature_n the_o child_n of_o wrath_n and_o god_n enemy_n this_o be_v true_a of_o all_o without_o exception_n high_a or_o low_a rich_a or_o poor_a noble_a or_o simple_a bear_v in_o the_o visible_a church_n or_o without_o and_o further_o by_o be_v enemy_n of_o god_n he_o be_v therefore_o bear_v subject_a to_o hell_n to_o damnation_n and_o to_o all_o other_o curse_n so_o that_o look_v as_o a_o traitor_n convict_v stand_v thereby_o in_o his_o prince_n high_a displeasure_n and_o be_v sure_a of_o death_n without_o special_a pardon_n so_o stand_v every_o man_n when_o he_o be_v bear_v convict_v of_o high_a treason_n against_o god_n in_o his_o high_a disfavour_v and_o be_v in_o danger_n of_o hell_n which_o be_v the_o fulfil_n of_o the_o wrath_n of_o god_n thus_o david_n confess_v of_o himself_o i_o be_v bear_v in_o iniquity_n and_o in_o sin_n have_v my_o mother_n concein_v i_o if_o in_o sin_n then_o in_o god_n wrath_n and_o under_o the_o danger_n of_o damnation_n if_o any_o ask_v how_o or_o why_o this_o be_v so_o i_o answer_v the_o truth_n as_o also_o the_o equity_n of_o this_o three_o rule_n depend_v on_o the_o two_o former_a for_o because_o every_o man_n be_v bear_v guilty_a of_o adam_n great_a sin_n and_o also_o taint_v original_o with_o all_o corruption_n &_o a_o pronnesse_n to_o all_o sin_n therefore_o it_o follow_v in_o equity_n and_o justice_n that_o every_o man_n be_v bear_v under_o the_o wrath_n and_o curse_n of_o god_n this_o point_n be_v a_o plain_a and_o evident_a truth_n yet_o man_n in_o the_o world_n think_v not_o so_o and_o it_o be_v the_o cause_n why_o man_n repent_v not_o of_o their_o sin_n for_o most_o man_n think_v that_o by_o nature_n they_o be_v in_o god_n favour_n and_o therefore_o they_o need_v not_o to_o sue_v for_o it_o in_o humiliation_n and_o repentance_n but_o only_o live_v civil_o and_o do_v no_o open_a wrong_n and_o all_o be_v well_o whereas_o alas_o there_o be_v no_o condemn_a traitor_n more_o out_o of_o his_o prince_n favour_n nor_o more_o sure_a of_o death_n without_o a_o pardon_n than_o all_o we_o be_v out_o of_o satan_n be_v his_o lord_n and_o master_n he_o sit_v as_o judge_v in_o his_o heart_n and_o in_o this_o sense_n satan_n be_v the_o king_n of_o the_o nation_n and_o god_n of_o the_o world_n man_n will_v in_o word_n defy_v satan_n and_o not_o name_v he_o without_o defiance_n and_o spit_v at_o he_o and_o yet_o alas_o he_o be_v in_o their_o heart_n they_o spit_v he_o out_o of_o their_o mouth_n but_o he_o be_v low_a they_o shall_v also_o spit_v he_o out_o of_o their_o heart_n and_o that_o be_v true_a defiance_n indeed_o for_o alas_o he_o lodge_v in_o thy_o heart_n and_o there_o he_o make_v his_o throne_n and_o reign_v until_o the_o spirit_n of_o regeneration_n dispossess_v he_o and_o till_o then_o no_o servant_n be_v so_o subject_a to_o his_o master_n no_o slave_n to_o his_o lord_n as_o be_v for_o it_o be_v the_o very_a gate_n of_o hell_n and_o the_o downfall_n to_o damnation_n unto_o all_o man_n but_o such_o as_o by_o faith_n and_o repentance_n do_v get_v their_o death_n sanctify_v by_o the_o death_n of_o christ_n unto_o such_o man_n indeed_o it_o be_v no_o curse_n but_o a_o gracious_a and_o glorious_a blessing_n for_o it_o be_v alter_v by_o christ_n his_o death_n but_o unto_o all_o for_o ever_o this_o eternal_a death_n be_v the_o curse_n of_o all_o curse_n the_o misery_n of_o all_o misery_n and_o torment_v of_o all_o torment_n and_o i_o show_v it_o thus_o often_o when_o thy_o tooth_n ach_v and_o sometime_o when_o thy_o head_n ach_v or_o in_o the_o pain_n of_o the_o stone_n or_o colic_n thou_o will_v give_v all_o that_o thou_o have_v in_o the_o world_n to_o be_v ease_v of_o that_o pain_n nay_o in_o the_o exstremitie_n of_o some_o fit_n many_o will_v wish_v themselves_o even_o out_o of_o the_o world_n now_o if_o the_o pain_n of_o one_o tooth_n can_v so_o far_o distemper_v mind_n and_o body_n that_o it_o can_v be_v releive_v with_o all_o the_o pleasure_n of_o this_o life_n o_o then_o what_o a_o torment_n shall_v that_o be_v when_o not_o one_o kind_a of_o pain_n but_o the_o whole_a viol_n of_o god_n wrath_n shall_v be_v pour_v not_o on_o one_o member_n but_o on_o the_o whole_a soul_n body_n and_o conscience_n and_o that_o not_o for_o a_o time_n under_o hope_n of_o better_a but_o eternal_o without_o hope_n of_o release_n and_o that_o not_o in_o this_o world_n where_o there_o be_v comfort_n help_n and_o remedy_n but_o in_o that_o ugly_a and_o darksome_a place_n of_o torment_n and_o that_o not_o among_o live_a man_n which_o may_v mitigate_v thy_o pain_n or_o else_o bemoan_v thou_o and_o beway_o leit_a with_o thou_o but_o with_o the_o devil_n and_o damn_a spirit_n which_o will_v now_o laugh_v at_o thy_o destruction_n and_o solace_v themselves_o in_o this_o thy_o misery_n and_o will_v rejoice_v as_o thou_o do_v serve_v they_o in_o earth_n so_o now_o in_o hell_n to_o be_v thy_o torment_n it_o may_v be_v therefore_o by_o the_o way_n good_a warning_n and_o wisdom_n to_o we_o all_o when_o we_o feel_v the_o extremity_n of_o some_o bodily_a pain_n to_o consider_v with_o ourselves_o and_o say_v o_o then_o what_o shall_v be_v my_o misery_n and_o torment_n if_o i_o repent_v not_o when_o not_o one_o member_n but_o soul_n body_n and_o conscience_n shall_v be_v rack_v and_o torment_v in_o the_o feel_n and_o apprehension_n of_o the_o anger_n of_o the_o lord_n of_o host_n in_o these_o three_o point_n stand_v that_o curse_n and_o wrath_n of_o god_n under_o which_o every_o man_n be_v bear_v and_o these_o do_v answer_v to_o the_o three_o degree_n of_o sin_n which_o be_v in_o we_o for_o as_o the_o two_o first_o rule_n teach_v we_o there_o be_v in_o every_o man_n by_o nature_n till_o he_o repent_v a_o threefold_a guiltiness_n first_o a_o guiltiness_n of_o adam_n sin_n second_o the_o taint_n of_o original_n and_o universal_a corruption_n three_o a_o pollution_n by_o many_o outrageous_a actual_a sin_n in_o the_o first_o of_o these_o every_o man_n be_v equal_o guilty_a in_o the_o second_o every_o man_n be_v equal_o corrupt_a but_o in_o the_o three_o every_o one_o keep_v that_o compass_n within_o which_o the_o lord_n will_v keep_v they_o by_o his_o limit_v power_n now_o as_o in_o our_o guiltiness_n of_o adam_n sin_n sin_n have_v his_o beginning_n in_o original_a sin_n his_o continuance_n in_o actual_a sin_n his_o perfection_n so_o answerable_a hereunto_o the_o wrath_n of_o god_n which_o always_o stand_v opposite_a to_o sin_n be_v begin_v in_o leave_v we_o by_o nature_n to_o the_o slavery_n of_o satan_n be_v continue_v by_o death_n and_o be_v accomplish_v in_o damnation_n and_o now_o these_o three_o rule_n i_o commend_v to_o the_o careful_a &_o christian_a consideration_n of_o you_o all_o certify_v you_o from_o god_n that_o as_o you_o can_v never_o be_v save_v unless_o you_o repent_v nor_o repent_v unless_o you_o search_v yourselves_o as_o here_o the_o prophet_n bid_v death_n so_o that_o you_o can_v never_o search_v yourselves_o aright_o till_o you_o be_v persuade_v and_o resolve_v of_o these_o three_o rule_n and_o of_o the_o truth_n of_o they_o all_o even_o in_o your_o heart_n and_o conscience_n namely_o first_o that_o thou_o be_v guilty_a of_o adam_n sin_n second_o that_o thou_o be_v prone_a by_o nature_n to_o all_o evil_a in_o the_o world_n three_o that_o for_o these_o thou_o be_v subject_a to_o the_o wrath_n of_o god_n and_o to_o all_o the_o curse_n of_o his_o wrath_n but_o when_o thou_o be_v in_o heart_n &_o conscience_n resolve_v that_o these_o be_v true_a than_o thou_o be_v a_o fit_a scholar_n for_o this_o lesson_n of_o the_o prophet_n search_v thyself_o for_o when_o thou_o go_v thus_o prepare_v unto_o this_o search_n and_o esteem_v of_o thyself_o as_o these_o three_o rule_n have_v describe_v thou_o then_o if_o thou_o search_v into_o thyself_o thou_o will_v find_v thyself_o and_o thy_o estate_n to_o be_v such_o as_o will_v cause_v thou_o to_o repent_v return_n and_o take_v a_o new_a course_n therefore_o what_o the_o prophet_n say_v to_o those_o jew_n i_o say_v unto_o you_o also_o my_o brethren_n of_o this_o realm_n of_o england_n who_o be_v here_o now_o gather_v together_o out_o of_o so_o many_o country_n &_o quarter_n of_o this_o realm_n yea_o in_o the_o name_n of_o the_o same_o god_n i_o cry_v unto_o you_o search_v o_o search_v yourselves_o and_o think_v it_o not_o a_o matter_n indifferent_a to_o do_v or_o not_o to_o do_v it_o but_o know_v it_o that_o god_n command_v you_o as_o ever_o you_o will_v come_v to_o salvation_n search_v yourselves_o and_o the_o rather_o because_o by_o these_o three_o rule_n you_o see_v how_o much_o chaff_n of_o corruption_n be_v in_o your_o nature_n and_o what_o need_n therefore_o it_o have_v to_o be_v search_v into_o and_o fan_v by_o repentance_n be_v well_o assure_v thou_o man_n whatsoever_o thou_o be_v there_o be_v so_o much_o chaff_n in_o thou_o that_o if_o thou_o search_v not_o and_o fan_v it_o not_o out_o thou_o will_v prove_v nothing_o but_o chaff_n at_o the_o last_o day_n and_o so_o be_v blow_v away_o with_o the_o wind_n of_o god_n justice_n into_o hell_n take_v hold_v therefore_o of_o this_o exhortation_n and_o defer_v it_o not_o thou_o will_v not_o suffer_v thy_o wheat_n to_o lie_v too_o long_o in_o the_o that_o little_a portion_n of_o grace_n which_o thou_o attaine_v unto_o by_o live_v in_o the_o church_n and_o under_o the_o ministry_n of_o the_o word_n of_o god_n will_v be_v putrify_v and_o clean_o corrupt_v with_o the_o chaff_n of_o thy_o sin_n therefore_o again_o and_o again_o i_o exhort_v you_o to_o make_v conscience_n of_o this_o duty_n search_v into_o yourselves_o fan_v out_o this_o chaff_n this_o presumption_n of_o we_o and_o high_a esteem_v of_o our_o own_o nature_n and_o conceit_n of_o god_n favour_n before_o we_o have_v it_o that_o so_o this_o chaff_n be_v blow_v away_o the_o lord_n foundation_n thereof_o have_v need_n to_o be_v sure_a and_o strong_a ignorance_n blindness_n and_o presumption_n be_v not_o sufficient_a foundation_n for_o such_o a_o building_n therefore_o as_o no_o man_n will_v build_v a_o strong_a house_n upon_o any_o earth_n but_o will_v first_o search_v it_o lest_o it_o prove_v sandie_n &_o so_o overthrow_v all_o so_o a_o wise_a christian_a will_v not_o build_v his_o salvation_n upon_o fancy_n &_o conceit_n and_o natural_a presumption_n but_o will_v search_v and_o look_v into_o his_o heart_n and_o find_v these_o to_o be_v sandy_a and_o rot_a and_o whereupon_o he_o may_v trust_v so_o weighty_a a_o work_n as_o be_v the_o salvation_n of_o his_o soul_n again_o if_o thou_o will_v stand_v in_o the_o day_n of_o trial_n then_o search_v thy_o heart_n betimes_o and_o discern_v betwixt_o chaff_n &_o wheat_n thou_o see_v that_o chaff_n fly_v away_o before_o the_o wind_n but_o good_a corn_n endure_v the_o fan_n and_o the_o fury_n of_o the_o wind_n wonder_v at_o but_o look_v at_o the_o life_n of_o our_o ordinary_a professor_n look_v at_o our_o sin_n and_o at_o our_o requite_v of_o god_n love_n and_o we_o be_v a_o people_n of_o sodom_n as_o full_a of_o iniquity_n as_o they_o be_v who_o sin_n be_v so_o many_o so_o rife_o and_o so_o ripe_a that_o at_o the_o last_o they_o will_v even_o bring_v down_o fire_n &_o brimstone_n or_o some_o other_o strange_a judgement_n upon_o we_o if_o repentance_n do_v not_o prevent_v it_o or_o the_o cry_n and_o prayer_n of_o holy_a man_n stay_v not_o god_n hand_n so_o then_o let_v we_o all_o here_o assemble_v grant_v &_o confess_v that_o we_o be_v a_o nation_n so_o far_o from_o be_v worthy_a to_o be_v belove_v as_o that_o we_o be_v most_o worthy_a to_o be_v hate_v &_o to_o have_v all_o the_o wrath_n of_o god_n pour_v upon_o us._n now_o then_o be_v we_o so_o and_o shall_v we_o continue_v so_o still_o nay_o that_o be_v the_o worst_a and_o most_o wretched_a of_o all_o then_o let_v every_o one_o of_o we_o learn_v this_o duty_n enter_v into_o ourselves_o search_v our_o heart_n and_o life_n that_o they_o may_v lie_v open_a to_o our_o own_o sight_n to_o the_o confusion_n of_o we_o in_o ourselves_o that_o in_o god_n by_o repentance_n we_o may_v be_v raise_v up_o our_o sin_n lie_v open_a before_o the_o face_n of_o god_n and_o stink_v in_o his_o presence_n and_o and_o cry_v for_o vengeance_n and_o before_o the_o face_n of_o god_n angel_n who_o bewail_v it_o and_o before_o the_o face_n of_o the_o devil_n who_o rejoice_v in_o our_o confusion_n and_o shall_v they_o lie_v hide_v only_o to_o ourselves_o now_o then_o if_o we_o will_v have_v they_o hide_v from_o god_n and_o stop_v the_o cry_n that_o they_o make_v against_o we_o and_o keep_v they_o from_o satan_n who_o accuse_v we_o for_o they_o we_o must_v so_o search_v ourselves_o that_o they_o may_v lie_v open_a to_o our_o own_o heart_n remember_v thou_o thy_o sin_n and_o god_n will_v forget_v they_o lay_v they_o open_v will_v follow_v but_o that_o they_o will_v all_o be_v disclose_v at_o the_o last_o day_n to_o thy_o eternal_a confusion_n therefore_o again_o and_o again_o i_o exhort_v you_o in_o the_o name_n of_o god_n search_v yourselves_o find_v out_o your_o sin_n confess_v they_o to_o god_n free_o and_o ingenious_o confess_v their_o desert_n to_o be_v hell_n and_o damnation_n humble_a your_o heart_n to_o point_n in_o this_o exhortation_n be_v the_o time_n limit_v they_o when_o they_o shall_v search_v before_o the_o decree_n come_v forth_o etc._n etc._n as_o though_o the_o prophet_n shall_v say_v israel_n repent_v before_o god_n execute_v his_o judgement_n on_o thou_o for_o behold_v the_o gracious_a deal_n of_o god_n man_n sin_v his_o sin_n deserve_v plague_n but_o god_n present_o plague_v babylon_n and_o under_o antiochus_n yet_o his_o mercy_n stay_v it_o and_o still_o he_o travail_v long_o tell_v they_o here_o by_o the_o prophet_n that_o yet_o the_o decree_n be_v not_o come_v forth_o though_o it_o be_v conceive_v but_o at_o last_o when_o israel_n will_v not_o repent_v but_o grow_v worse_a and_o worse_o as_o in_o christ_n his_o time_n than_o he_o can_v contain_v no_o long_o but_o travel_v indeed_o and_o though_o it_o be_v with_o grief_n yet_o he_o have_v bring_v forth_o and_o what_o a_o most_o fearful_a birth_n even_o a_o utter_a disolation_n of_o that_o kingdom_n and_o country_n of_o their_o city_n and_o temple_n and_o a_o dispertion_n of_o their_o nation_n over_o all_o the_o world_n but_o as_o a_o woman_n at_o last_o be_v deliver_v with_o danger_n and_o difficulty_n with_o pain_n and_o sorrow_n so_o the_o lord_n long_o conceive_v but_o at_o last_o bring_v forth_o his_o judgement_n yet_o it_o be_v with_o grief_n and_o unwillingness_n and_o he_o be_v loath_a as_o it_o be_v and_o much_o aggrieve_v to_o execute_v his_o most_o just_a judgement_n on_o those_o who_o have_v profess_v his_o name_n he_o often_o touch_v the_o jew_n a_o little_a and_o as_o be_v unwilling_a to_o smite_v they_o he_o draw_v back_o his_o hand_n again_o but_o at_o last_o when_o their_o sin_n do_v so_o increase_v and_o be_v so_o strong_a that_o they_o even_o do_v wring_v out_o by_o violence_n his_o plague_n from_o he_o then_o with_o much_o bewail_v of_o their_o great_a misery_n as_o we_o may_v see_v in_o christ_n weep_v for_o they_o he_o execute_v his_o judgement_n in_o the_o jew_n once_o his_o own_o people_n for_o he_o have_v destroy_v their_o land_n with_o a_o irrecoverable_a destruction_n and_o smite_v their_o posterity_n with_o a_o blindness_n of_o mind_n till_o this_o hour_n so_o that_o to_o this_o day_n when_o the_o old_a testament_n be_v read_v the_o veil_n be_v over_o their_o eye_n that_o they_o can_v see_v the_o light_n of_o christ_n jesus_n but_o apply_v their_o doctrine_n to_o their_o audience_n in_o such_o manner_n as_o the_o circumstance_n of_o place_n time_n or_o person_n do_v require_v some_o minister_n come_v to_o a_o ignorant_a and_o unhumbled_a people_n and_o teach_v they_o the_o gospel_n which_o never_o know_v the_o law_n here_o the_o fiery_a coal_n be_v use_v but_o the_o lip_n be_v not_o touch_v that_o be_v good_a doctrine_n teach_v but_o not_o well_o apply_v for_o that_o the_o law_n shall_v first_o be_v lay_v to_o their_o conscience_n other_o beat_v all_o upon_o the_o law_n when_o it_o may_v be_v their_o hearer_n be_v a_o people_n sufficient_o cast_v down_o and_o have_v more_o need_n to_o be_v raise_v up_o with_o the_o sweet_a comfort_n of_o the_o gospel_n other_o use_v to_o lay_v open_a the_o nakedness_n of_o the_o court_n in_o the_o country_n and_o to_o reprove_v the_o fault_n of_o prince_n and_o great_a magistrate_n before_o the_o common_a people_n who_o have_v more_o need_n of_o the_o catechism_n other_o bring_v the_o catechism_n or_o point_n of_o ordinary_a instruction_n into_o the_o court_n where_o the_o duty_n of_o king_n and_o councillor_n shall_v be_v teach_v in_o all_o plainness_n and_o sincerity_n other_o bring_v their_o new_a opinion_n or_o controversall_a point_n unto_o popular_a audience_n which_o indeed_o be_v fit_a for_o the_o school_n other_o busy_a themselves_o about_o ceremony_n when_o the_o substance_n be_v in_o danger_n to_o be_v lose_v all_o these_o have_v it_o may_v be_v the_o coal_n of_o fire_n but_o it_o be_v misapply_v and_o not_o apply_v to_o the_o pollute_a lip_n let_v all_o minister_n therefore_o learn_v this_o point_n of_o wisdom_n of_o the_o angel_n to_o apply_v the_o medicine_n of_o their_o doctrine_n to_o the_o time_n person_n and_o place_n which_o be_v infect_v so_o shall_v they_o be_v sure_a not_o to_o take_v pain_n in_o vain_a and_o thus_o much_o of_o the_o circumstance_n of_o his_o consolation_n it_o follow_v in_o the_o sufficient_o humble_v he_o and_o then_o to_o labour_v to_o persuade_v his_o conscience_n upon_o good_a ground_n of_o the_o pardon_n of_o those_o sin_n by_o christ_n jesus_n this_o be_v the_o way_n that_o god_n use_v and_o devise_v this_o be_v the_o sure_a way_n that_o can_v fail_v some_o think_v that_o all_o trouble_n of_o mind_n be_v nothing_o but_o melancholy_a and_o therefore_o psalm_n think_v nothing_o needs_o but_o physic_n and_o outward_a comfort_n but_o he_o that_o consider_v in_o what_o case_n the_o prophet_n here_o be_v or_o david_n when_o he_o make_v the_o 6._o the_o 32._o or_o the_o 51._o psalm_n will_v be_v of_o another_o mind_n and_o will_v find_v that_o nothing_o can_v proper_o trouble_v the_o mind_n but_o sin_n therefore_o as_o the_o wise_a physician_n in_o his_o cure_n first_o search_v out_o the_o cause_n and_o then_o endeavour_n to_o take_v it_o away_o so_o the_o good_a physician_n of_o the_o soul_n must_v first_o of_o all_o search_n into_o the_o cause_n of_o his_o sickness_n that_o be_v his_o sin_n and_o must_v take_v they_o away_o which_o if_o they_o do_v not_o than_o all_o their_o labour_n be_v lose_v for_o all_o the_o company_n music_n recreation_n wine_n diet_n nay_o all_o worldly_a comfort_n &_o delight_n if_o it_o be_v the_o advancement_n to_o a_o kingdom_n can_v so_o much_o comfort_v the_o distress_a soul_n of_o a_o sinner_n as_o this_o voice_n of_o a_o minister_n speak_v from_o god_n upon_o good_a ground_n thy_o sin_n be_v forgive_v thou_o now_o to_o lay_v down_o what_o be_v those_o true_a and_o good_a ground_n whereupon_o a_o minister_n may_v conscience_n safe_o and_o comfortable_o pronounce_v pardon_n of_o sin_n to_o a_o sinner_n belong_v proper_o to_o another_o place_n in_o the_o next_o place_n let_v we_o here_o observe_v repent_v how_o the_o lord_n afore_o he_o renew_v the_o prophet_n commission_n or_o send_v he_o to_o preach_v to_o the_o people_n first_o humble_v he_o for_o his_o sin_n and_o then_o upon_o his_o repentance_n give_v he_o pardon_v teach_v we_o that_o no_o minister_n be_v well_o qualify_v to_o the_o holy_a duty_n of_o the_o ministry_n unless_o he_o have_v true_o repent_v of_o his_o sin_n and_o have_v obtain_v pardon_n and_o mercy_n in_o the_o messiah_n minister_n labour_n for_o qualification_n but_o the_o true_a minister_n of_o god_n will_v labour_v for_o this_o qualification_n above_o all_o other_o for_o doubtless_o he_o shall_v pronounce_v most_o powerful_o the_o pardon_n of_o sin_n to_o other_o to_o who_o conscience_n god_n have_v pronounce_v pardon_n of_o his_o own_o
