the_o soul_n and_o fortify_v against_o the_o entrance_n of_o all_o create_a power_n the_o magazine_n where_o all_o the_o gunpowder_n lie_v that_o be_v the_o guilt_n of_o a_o man_n sin_n so_o as_o there_o need_v nothing_o else_o to_o blow_v up_o all_o if_o his_o wrath_n do_v but_o touch_n it_o take_v and_o set_v all_o on_o fire_n yea_o give_v i_o leave_v upon_o the_o same_o ground_n and_o by_o the_o like_a reason_n further_o to_o say_v that_o all_o the_o material_a fire_n in_o hell_n by_o which_o the_o soul_n shall_v and_o will_v suffer_v by_o way_n of_o a_o compatibility_n as_o it_o be_v term_v or_o suffer_v by_o and_o with_o the_o body_n a_o unspeakable_a torment_n and_o this_o for_o the_o sin_n a_o man_n be_v guilty_a of_o yet_o these_o flame_n nor_o these_o punishment_n take_v free_a and_o full_a course_n if_o justice_n according_a to_o the_o prophet_n language_n and_o god_n own_o rule_n and_o direction_n give_v unto_o we_o run_v down_o as_o water_n and_o righteousness_n as_o a_o mighty_a stream_n in_o its_o proper_a natural_a channel_n and_o so_o as_o to_o fall_v into_o that_o most_o capacious_a vessel_n or_o receptacle_n that_o be_v in_o man_n to_o receive_v it_o again_o if_o divine_a justice_n have_v a_o will_n to_o put_v and_o lay_v its_o charge_n and_o execution_n where_o principal_o it_o be_v to_o be_v lay_v even_o against_o the_o principal_a whether_o in_o the_o obligation_n for_o sin_n or_o in_o the_o guilt_n of_o the_o act_n of_o sin_v or_o if_o it_o be_v deem_v that_o divine_a justice_n will_v take_v a_o recovery_n where_o the_o full_a and_o fair_a advantage_n lie_v and_o recover_v his_o principal_a debt_n of_o that_o which_o be_v the_o principal_a debtor_n and_o from_o that_o in_o man_n which_o be_v capable_a to_o afford_v the_o most_o with_o and_o agree_v unto_o the_o rule_n and_o
proportion_n of_o justice_n forementioned_a which_o be_v most_o near_o and_o sacred_a to_o he_o 2._o the_o second_o assertion_n that_o it_o be_v also_o requisite_a yea_o necessary_a i_o speak_v it_o as_o in_o relation_n to_o justice_n attain_v its_o end_n for_o all_o mediate_a punishment_n execute_v by_o creature_n be_v deficient_a as_o unto_o that_o wherein_o the_o very_a essence_n of_o this_o punishment_n lie_v they_o all_o not_o reach_v the_o inward_o of_o the_o spirit_n of_o the_o mind_n and_o conscience_n and_o see_v that_o without_o god_n wrath_n reveal_v therewith_o by_o god_n himself_o all_o such_o punishment_n will_v not_o complete_a the_o justice_n of_o god_n in_o a_o punishment_n in_o any_o tolerable_a measure_n suitable_a then_o if_o justice_n will_v have_v its_o tolerable_a measure_n content_v it_o especial_o if_o we_o further_o consider_v that_o when_o all_o be_v do_v that_o can_v be_v do_v this_o punishment_n will_v not_o arise_v to_o a_o perfect_a leave_v the_o execution_n of_o traitor_n and_o offender_n whole_o unto_o other_o because_o they_o have_v no_o more_o power_n as_o in_o respect_n of_o execution_n to_o inflict_v a_o condign_a punishment_n than_o other_o man_n but_o other_o can_v do_v it_o as_o exquisite_o and_o their_o justice_n be_v as_o full_o satisfy_v thereby_o but_o it_o be_v not_o so_o here_o and_o for_o these_o arise_v from_o both_o do_v principal_o abide_v the_o body_n be_v but_o instrumental_a in_o what_o the_o soul_n do_v yea_o and_o in_o some_o and_o the_o great_a sin_n the_o soul_n have_v the_o sole_a and_o immediate_a hand_n this_o soul_n therefore_o which_o be_v the_o chief_a vessel_n of_o sin_n must_v be_v the_o chief_a vessel_n of_o wrath._n indignation_n and_o wrath_n upon_o every_o soul_n
