as_o if_o he_o have_v say_v by_o his_o body_n for_o as_o we_o have_v often_o inform_v you_o it_o be_v ordinary_a in_o the_o stile_n of_o scripture_n to_o put_v in_o for_o by_o and_o hence_o appear_v how_o extravagant_a the_o imagination_n of_o some_o ancient_a heretic_n be_v who_o do_v dogmatise_v that_o jesus_n christ_n have_v but_o a_o vain_a and_o false_a appearance_n of_o a_o body_n and_o that_o we_o be_v reconcile_v by_o the_o body_n of_o his_o flesh_n the_o apostle_n add_v in_o the_o last_o place_n by_o his_o death_n it_o be_v not_o enough_o oh_o faithful_a brethren_n that_o the_o king_n of_o glory_n the_o prince_n of_o life_n assume_v to_o himself_o a_o body_n and_o even_o a_o body_n of_o flesh_n vile_a and_o infirm_a as_o you_o to_o reconcile_v you_o unto_o god_n it_o be_v necessary_a he_o shall_v die_v his_o flesh_n will_v have_v profit_v you_o nothing_o if_o it_o have_v not_o suffer_v that_o death_n which_o you_o deserve_v but_o of_o this_o death_n of_o the_o lord_n will_v and_o to_o do_v of_o his_o good_a pleasure_n and_o other_o like_a phrase_n which_o be_v find_v here_o and_o there_o in_o the_o scripture_n but_o the_o apostle_n add_v here_o that_o god_n have_v thus_o quicken_v we_o together_o with_o christ_n show_v we_o by_o these_o word_n the_o cause_n and_o the_o manner_n of_o our_o vivisication_n namely_o that_o it_o be_v effect_v in_o jesus_n christ_n and_o with_o he_o and_o by_o he_o for_o as_o that_o death_n which_o we_o heretofore_o bear_v in_o ourselves_o do_v come_v from_o adam_n the_o stock_n and_o original_n of_o our_o carnal_a be_v who_o by_o destroy_v himself_o destroy_v we_o also_o with_o he_o and_o corrupt_v his_o own_o nature_n corrupt_a we_o likewise_o so_o as_o it_o be_v in_o he_o and_o from_o he_o that_o we_o inherit_v this_o nature_n who_o raise_v up_o himself_o unto_o life_n raise_v we_o up_o also_o according_a to_o what_o the_o apostle_n say_v elsewhere_o viz._n that_o as_o all_o dye_n in_o adam_n so_o likewise_o in_o jesus_n christ_n be_v all_o make_v alive_a but_o this_o assertion_n of_o his_o here_o that_o god_n have_v quicken_v we_o together_o with_o christ_n 15.22_o 1_o cor._n 15.22_o do_v particular_o refer_v to_o his_o resurrection_n as_o if_o god_n in_o restore_v he_o to_o that_o glorious_a life_n which_o he_o receive_v at_o his_o issue_v out_o of_o the_o sepulchre_n have_v at_o the_o same_o time_n give_v we_o also_o part_n therein_o and_o he_o speak_v in_o this_o manner_n for_o two_o reason_n principal_o the_o first_o be_v because_o it_o be_v then_o that_o jesus_n christ_n bring_v to_o light_v that_o bless_a life_n whereof_o we_o have_v be_v make_v partaker_n and_o from_o he_o as_o from_o its_o source_n have_v it_o be_v derive_v unto_o we_o so_o as_o that_o same_o time_n be_v the_o day_n of_o our_o new_a birth_n as_o well_o as_o he_o for_o if_o he_o have_v not_o be_v make_v alive_a no_o more_o shall_v we_o have_v ever_o be_v not_o but_o that_o the_o father_n all_o have_v the_o might_n and_o power_n that_o be_v necessary_a to_o give_v we_o life_n again_o but_o his_o justice_n can_v not_o have_v suffer_v he_o to_o give_v life_n to_o any_o of_o the_o son_n of_o man_n if_o their_o surety_n and_o mediator_n have_v abide_v under_o death_n the_o second_o reason_n be_v that_o he_o be_v our_o head_n and_o we_o his_o member_n he_o our_o pattern_n and_o we_o copy_n draw_v if_o i_o may_v so_o say_v from_o his_o original_a when_o god_n raise_v he_o he_o re-enlivened_a we_o also_o by_o the_o same_o mean_n since_o by_o this_o action_n he_o oblige_v himself_o to_o vivifie_v we_o likewise_o it_o be_v evident_a that_o without_o this_o we_o shall_v not_o have_v that_o conformity_n with_o our_o head_n to_o which_o he_o predestinate_v we_o not_o to_o mention_v for_o the_o present_a the_o efficacy_n this_o resurrection_n have_v to_o form_v in_o we_o faith_n and_o hope_v and_o love_n of_o glorious_a immortality_n which_o be_v the_o principle_n of_o that_o new_a life_n that_o god_n do_v put_v into_o we_o by_o his_o spirit_n as_o we_o intimate_v in_o the_o exposition_n of_o the_o precedent_a verse_n there_o remain_v now_o the_o other_o part_n of_o this_o bless_a life_n which_o god_n give_v we_o in_o his_o son_n namely_o the_o remission_n of_o our_o sin_n s._n paul_n set_v it_o before_o we_o here_o when_o he_o say_v that_o god_n have_v free_o pardon_v we_o all_o our_o sin_n for_o the_o spirit_n of_o sanctification_n which_o be_v as_o the_o soul_n of_o that_o new_a life_n he_o creat_v in_o our_o heart_n do_v indeed_o turn_v away_o our_o affection_n from_o vice_n and_o obstruct_v our_o commit_n of_o unjust_a ungodly_a and_o impure_a action_n wherein_o we_o wallow_v afore_o yet_o this_o respect_v only_o the_o present_a and_o the_o future_a and_o if_o there_o be_v no_o more_o the_o guilt_n of_o sin_n commit_v in_o time_n past_a during_o our_o spiritual_a deadness_n will_v nevertheless_o remain_v in_o its_o strength_n it_o be_v clear_a that_o though_o the_o act_n of_o sin_n be_v past_a the_o faultiness_n wherewith_o it_o commaculate_v he_o who_o commit_v it_o go_v not_o off_o so_o soon_o it_o subsist_v still_o both_o in_o the_o fallacious_a disguise_n which_o now_o hide_v the_o hideousness_n of_o their_o nature_n shall_v show_v it_o before_o heaven_n and_o earth_n and_o make_v we_o plain_o see_v that_o they_o be_v but_o sepulcher_n white_v without_o and_o full_a of_o filth_n and_o infection_n within_o and_o cast_v they_o thereupon_o into_o that_o wretched_a and_o eternal_a death_n which_o be_v prepare_v for_o they_o with_o the_o devil_n and_o his_o angel_n bless_v we_o god_n who_o have_v deliver_v we_o from_o this_o perdition_n by_o his_o great_a mercy_n and_o hate_v we_o sin_n and_o the_o corruption_n of_o the_o many_o year_n and_o die_v such_o a_o day_n do_v gross_o err_v you_o do_v not_o live_v when_o you_o offend_v god_n and_o your_o neighbour_n or_o lose_v your_o time_n in_o the_o filth_n of_o your_o infamous_a delight_n and_o on_o the_o day_n that_o you_o shall_v quit_v the_o earth_n you_o will_v not_o cease_v to_o live_v for_o to_o say_v true_a you_o never_o live_v but_o from_o one_o kind_n of_o death_n you_o will_v pass_v into_o another_o from_o the_o death_n of_o sin_n to_o a_o death_n of_o torment_n christian_n if_o you_o love_v life_n and_o hate_v horror_n at_o death_n renounce_v sin_n and_o mortify_v your_o flesh_n you_o can_v live_v except_o it_o die_v put_v in_o exercise_n that_o noble_a life_n which_o the_o lord_n have_v give_v you_o in_o his_o son_n act_n according_a to_o the_o
