salvation_n be_v damn_v howbeit_o the_o lord_n forbid_v that_o this_o thing_n shall_v be_v find_v or_o just_o prove_v in_o our_o lord_n the_o king_n of_o israel_n herence_n also_o they_o object_n against_o the_o sermon_n word_n word_n exception_n to_o solomon_n doctrine_n and_o word_n and_o doctrine_n of_o king_n solomon_n as_o of_o fruit_n unwholesome_a grow_v of_o such_o a_o evil_a tree_n for_o neither_o can_v his_o understanding_n as_o they_o say_v henceforth_o be_v perfect_a to_o this_o purpose_n for_o as_o they_o which_o sudden_o turn_v themselves_o to_o the_o shadow_n which_o contemplation_n to_o the_o obscure_a lust_n of_o the_o flesh_n shall_v so_o soon_o afterward_o be_v of_o perfect_a understanding_n in_o those_o heavenly_a mystery_n and_o divine_a doctrine_n and_o here_o it_o be_v remember_v what_o the_o king_n himself_o have_v sometime_o say_v that_o wisdom_n enter_v not_o into_o a_o wicked_a soul_n nor_o dwell_v in_o a_o body_n that_o be_v subject_a to_o sin_n therefore_o they_o from_o hence_o argue_v thereon_o solomon_n have_v not_o presume_v to_o use_v the_o name_n jehovah_n of_o late_a the_o book_n of_o the_o ecclesiaste_v not_o well_o understand_v of_o many_o whereof_o it_o be_v that_o so_o many_o evil_a opinion_n have_v be_v father_v thereon_o that_o the_o king_n in_o this_o time_n be_v not_o replenish_v with_o the_o perfect_a wisdom_n and_o so_o can_v neither_o utter_v nor_o teach_v wisdom_n unto_o other_o by_o any_o deed_n or_o word_n of_o he_o *_o but_o yet_o they_o be_v more_o bold_a on_o these_o their_o assertion_n because_o the_o king_n have_v not_o of_o late_o use_v the_o most_o holy_a name_n 〈◊〉_d 〈◊〉_d 〈◊〉_d 〈◊〉_d 〈◊〉_d jehovah_n which_o be_v proper_a to_o the_o almighty_a either_o in_o his_o private_a talk_n or_o in_o those_o his_o word_n which_o he_o have_v late_o utter_v before_o his_o prince_n or_o in_o that_o book_n of_o he_o call_v the_o song_n of_o song_n which_o they_o hold_v and_o will_v esteem_v a_o cause_n sufficient_a that_o both_o those_o his_o word_n and_o book_n shall_v be_v not_o only_o suspect_v but_o also_o reject_v as_o profane_v and_o unprofitable_a for_o the_o church_n of_o god_n yea_o they_o say_v morover_n that_o from_o hence_o as_o from_o a_o bitter_a root_n will_v issue_v forth_o sundry_a monstrous_a opinion_n and_o dangerous_a doctrine_n by_o the_o which_o the_o most_o profane_a person_n shall_v strengthen_v their_o prophanite_n the_o ungodly_a their_o impiety_n the_o superstitious_a their_o superstition_n the_o sinner_n their_o sin_n therefore_o as_o we_o be_v of_o israel_n and_o ought_v not_o to_o be_v pollute_v with_o the_o manner_n of_o the_o heaten_a so_o shall_v we_o before_o all_o other_o abandon_v those_o and_o such_o like_a work_n and_o word_n which_o corrupt_v good_a manner_n and_o that_o kind_a of_o learning_n which_o confound_v the_o good_a constitution_n of_o a_o man_n health_n and_o hasten_v his_o destruction_n as_o for_o the_o conservation_n of_o bodily_a health_n the_o physician_n do_v advise_v man_n to_o eschew_v those_o dainty_a meat_n which_o provoke_v they_o to_o eat_v when_o they_o be_v not_o hungry_a and_o those_o delicate_a drink_n which_o tempt_v they_o to_o drink_v be_v not_o thirsty_a and_o of_o this_o kind_n they_o object_n that_o the_o king_n have_v much_o speak_v in_o this_o his_o old_a age_n but_o howsoever_o it_o be_v we_o may_v be_v sure_a of_o this_o that_o as_o the_o best_a wine_n lose_v his_o verdict_n and_o grace_n when_o it_o be_v infuse_v into_o foul_a and_o filthy_a vessel_n so_o the_o word_n of_o the_o king_n be_v they_o never_o so_o good_a and_o profitable_a in_o right_a estimation_n shall_v by_o this_o his_o ungodly_a life_n and_o pollute_a behaviour_n lose_v both_o their_o right_a grace_n and_o commendation_n in_o the_o judgement_n of_o all_o man_n i_o be_o right_a sorry_a i_o be_v occasion_v to_o say_v thus_o much_o of_o my_o lord_n the_o king_n and_o of_o his_o sermon_n and_o last_o word_n word_n azariah_n for_o the_o king_n and_o his_o word_n then_o answer_v azariah_n in_o the_o behalf_n of_o all_o the_o other_o prince_n indeed_o as_o you_o have_v say_v there_o may_v be_v many_o thing_n object_v by_o such_o as_o be_v not_o only_o ignorant_a and_o neither_o able_a to_o discern_v between_o thing_n holy_a and_o profane_a &_o so_o perceive_v not_o that_o the_o fault_n lie_v rather_o in_o their_o own_o synister_n interpretation_n of_o the_o king_n work_n and_o word_n then_o in_o the_o work_n and_o word_n themselves_o but_o also_o by_o such_o as_o regard_v not_o to_o yield_v honour_n to_o they_o to_o who_o honour_n belong_v and_o little_a care_n who_o they_o wound_v with_o their_o tongue_n or_o who_o word_n or_o work_n they_o deprave_v and_o slander_v as_o my_o lord_n zadok_n have_v before_o well_o note_v hear_v give_v not_o sentence_n before_o the_o matter_n be_v hear_v but_o let_v we_o advise_v all_o they_o that_o come_v after_o we_o that_o they_o give_v partiality_n and_o we_o will_v not_o only_o give_v ear_n unto_o you_o but_o also_o be_v right_o thankful_a we_o doubt_v not_o but_o that_o after_o your_o answer_n to_o all_o those_o and_o such_o his_o word_n if_o they_o be_v weigh_v in_o a_o equal_a balance_n many_o more_o shall_v not_o only_o suppress_v their_o rash_a judgement_n concern_v the_o king_n and_o his_o word_n but_o acknowledge_v true_a penitent_a person_n that_o have_v obtain_v mercy_n and_o forgiveness_n after_o his_o sin_n and_o henceforth_o expect_v the_o joy_n of_o his_o lord_n in_o everlasting_a happiness_n through_o debate_v as_o be_v the_o cause_n of_o other_o man_n so_o neither_o may_v the_o subject_n be_v so_o bold_a as_o to_o talk_v or_o reason_n thereof_o without_o fear_n especial_o in_o the_o court_n so_o near_o the_o king_n presence_n and_o here_o you_o shall_v understand_v my_o good_a lord_n that_o they_o which_o object_n do_v not_o so_o much_o respect_n and_o of_o those_o his_o gesture_n word_n injurious_o let_v we_o hear_v abiather_n what_o those_o matter_n be_v which_o be_v object_v they_o note_v that_o the_o thing_n hereafter_o speak_v of_o be_v but_o as_o brief_o touch_v in_o respect_n because_o his_o most_o noble_a grace_n have_v be_v well_o please_v to_o accept_v of_o my_o poor_a service_n so_o will_v i_o not_o willing_o absent_v myself_o from_o his_o presence_n too_o long_o for_o my_o whole_a desire_n and_o endeavour_n be_v as_o in_o duty_n i_o be_o bind_v that_o which_o my_o best_a counsel_n and_o ready_a attendance_n i_o may_v next_o to_o the_o lord_n gratify_v and_o you_o be_v herein_o rather_o the_o reporter_n of_o other_o man_n opinion_n and_o speech_n then_o the_o author_n of_o any_o such_o thing_n which_o may_v either_o hurt_v the_o king_n person_n or_o impeach_v the_o authority_n of_o his_o word_n and_o sure_o we_o may_v in_o this_o rather_o commend_v than_o dislike_v you_o or_o your_o word_n though_o all_o word_n of_o all_o person_n especial_o of_o king_n and_o prince_n how_o true_a soever_o they_o be_v be_v not_o to_o be_v utter_v or_o speak_v before_o all_o person_n in_o all_o place_n at_o all_o time_n without_o difference_n wise_a consideration_n or_o due_a regard_n for_o by_o this_o we_o shall_v not_o only_o know_v what_o be_v conceit_v and_o speak_v abroad_o of_o the_o king_n and_o his_o word_n but_o also_o consider_v of_o they_o &_o consult_v how_o to_o withstand_v those_o inconvenience_n which_o may_v grow_v follow_v and_o ensue_v thereof_o in_o posterity_n and_o this_o shall_v be_v the_o soon_o perform_v by_o the_o true_a understanding_n of_o the_o king_n meaning_n and_o the_o right_a exposition_n of_o his_o word_n object_v abiather_n first_o cler_v himself_o and_o then_o object_v then_o answer_v abiather_n my_o lord_n all_o i_o hope_v you_o judge_v of_o i_o as_o of_o a_o true_a subject_n to_o my_o lord_n king_n solomon_n and_o i_o adventure_v to_o stand_v for_o the_o perfect_a trial_n of_o my_o dutiful_a the_o live_n yea_o and_o he_o who_o be_v yet_o unborn_a before_o they_o both_o 5_o he_o be_v note_v to_o discourage_v man_n from_o the_o perfection_n of_o wisdom_n and_o justice_n which_o be_v two_o most_o excellent_a virtue_n in_o man_n 6_o he_o condemn_v the_o man_n that_o love_v quietness_n and_o peace_n better_o than_o trouble_n and_o vexation_n and_o therein_o contrari_v his_o own_o word_n man_n so_o devoyde_a of_o reason_n and_o judgement_n that_o he_o know_v not_o what_o be_v good_a for_o himself_o in_o this_o life_n 12_o the_o king_n himself_o be_v a_o transgressor_n deem_v the_o like_a of_o all_o man_n condemn_v they_o of_o sin_n and_o unrighteousness_n 13_o he_o ascribe_v all_o that_o to_o time_n and_o chance_n the_o which_o we_o just_o attribute_v to_o the_o divine_a know_v that_o the_o same_o condition_n fall_v to_o they_o all_o and_o thereupon_o he_o resolve_v it_o befall_v unto_o i_o as_o it_o befall_v unto_o the_o fool_n wherefore_o then_o labour_n i_o to_o be_v more_o wise_a be_v this_o answer_v zadok_n the_o ground_n of_o that_o objection_n and_o will_v you_o so_o conclude_v of_o the_o king_n grave_a word_n alas_o the_o gross_a ignorance_n of_o vain_a man_n and_o yet_o how_o hasty_a be_v they_o to_o judge_v of_o that_o they_o neither_o know_v nor_o be_v able_a to_o apprehend_v thus_o the_o blindman_n be_v say_v to_o judge_v of_o colour_n howbeit_o you_o shall_v consider_v with_o i_o that_o the_o king_n have_v not_o say_v it_o absolute_o or_o simple_o that_o the_o wiseman_n be_v no_o better_a than_o the_o fool_n but_o in_o this_o sense_n &_o meaning_n first_o as_o we_o use_v to_o say_v that_o fool_n have_v fortune_n mean_v that_o a_o wiseman_n by_o his_o proper_a wisdom_n study_n and_o power_n can_v effect_v nothing_o more_o then_o do_v
