destiny_n lot_n or_o condition_n not_o submit_v to_o or_o content_a with_o the_o providence_n of_o god_n to_o &_o about_o they_o and_o then_o with_o reference_n to_o the_o middle_a clause_n of_o the_o say_a prophecy_n walk_v after_o their_o own_o ungodly_a lust_n not_o keep_v they_o to_o the_o word_n and_o will_n of_o god_n set_v before_o they_o in_o the_o gospel_n but_o as_o complain_v of_o the_o purity_n severity_n or_o simplicity_n of_o that_o they_o break_v those_o bond_n and_o transgress_v those_o bound_n that_o they_o may_v walk_v after_o their_o own_o imagination_n both_o as_o to_o faith_n and_o manner_n v_o 1.6_o and_o their_o mouth_n speak_v great_a swell_a word_n as_o of_o their_o part_n worth_n attainment_n or_o as_o in_o 2_o pet._n 2.18_o 19_o the_o parallel_a place_n to_o this_o epistle_n they_o promise_v other_o liberty_n they_o talk_v of_o be_v free_a from_o and_o above_o those_o rule_n of_o faith_n and_o worship_n that_o christ_n have_v prescribe_v and_o promise_v other_o freedom_n and_o liberty_n from_o such_o trial_n persecution_n or_o temptation_n as_o they_o see_v the_o faithful_a cleaver_n to_o christ_n exercise_v under_o will_v they_o but_o listen_v to_o they_o or_o as_o seek_v to_o avoid_v those_o suffering_n and_o persecution_n that_o they_o be_v then_o expose_v to_o probable_o pretend_v more_o holiness_n but_o real_o cast_v off_o christ_n government_n yoke_n and_o discipline_n in_o his_o church_n sensual_a or_o lead_v by_o their_o carnal_a understanding_n and_o imagination_n have_v no_o high_a principle_n to_o guide_v they_o and_o so_o savour_v of_o such_o animal_n or_o sensual_a thing_n only_o not_o have_v the_o spirit_n the_o spirit_n of_o faith_n to_o make_v they_o live_v by_o faith_n in_o the_o hope_n and_o expectation_n of_o the_o come_n and_o kingdom_n of_o christ_n which_o these_o deceiver_n deny_v and_o make_v a_o mock_n of_o and_o so_o of_o the_o eternal_a life_n that_o god_n have_v promise_v to_o those_o that_o worship_v he_o and_o trust_v in_o he_o by_o jesus_n christ_n ver_fw-la 19_o now_o after_o all_o these_o thing_n have_v so_o various_o and_o abundant_o both_o describe_v these_o deceiver_n &_o admonish_v the_o right_a believer_n of_o they_o he_o come_v in_o these_o 20_o and_o 21_o verse_n to_o exhort_v and_o counsel_v they_o to_o what_o may_v be_v of_o great_a concernment_n to_o themselves_o and_o one_o another_o in_o opposition_n to_o the_o way_n and_o practice_v of_o those_o ungodly_a person_n and_o that_o they_o may_v be_v keep_v from_o their_o infection_n and_o the_o dangerous_a fruit_n thereof_o but_o you_o belove_v build_v up_o yourselves_o on_o your_o most_o holy_a faith_n pray_v in_o the_o holy_a ghost_n keep_v yourselves_o in_o the_o love_n of_o god_n wait_v for_o the_o mercy_n of_o our_o lord_n jesus_n christ_n unto_o eternal_a life_n ver_fw-la 21_o 22_o wherein_o we_o have_v a_o serious_a and_o heavenly_a counsel_n give_v to_o faithful_a and_o be_v rottenness_n and_o their_o blossom_n go_v up_o as_o dust_n because_o they_o have_v cast_v away_o the_o law_n and_o doctrine_n of_o the_o lord_n of_o host_n and_o despise_v the_o word_n of_o the_o in_o the_o lord_n and_o so_o in_o the_o way_n of_o righteousness_n and_o reprove_v discourage_a and_o fight_v against_o the_o other_o in_o the_o way_n of_o his_o wickedness_n that_o he_o may_v be_v fill_v with_o shame_n and_o either_o be_v turn_v from_o his_o wicked_a way_n or_o be_v weaken_v and_o confound_v however_o in_o it_o that_o he_o may_v not_o be_v able_a to_o do_v hurt_v to_o other_o and_o hinder_v they_o in_o the_o way_n of_o righteousness_n and_o salvation_n jerem._n 15.19_o but_o as_o i_o say_v before_o i_o shall_v not_o enlarge_v further_o upon_o these_o thing_n but_o to_o keep_v ourselves_o namely_o from_o the_o error_n of_o the_o wicked_a and_o the_o danger_n and_o woe_n attend_v it_o and_o then_o the_o sense_n may_v be_v keep_v yourselves_o from_o those_o person_n and_o evil_n foremention_v by_o take_v heed_n to_o the_o love_n of_o god_n or_o else_o which_o i_o judge_v the_o right_a as_o to_o the_o intent_n of_o the_o apostle_n here_o the_o way_n state_n or_o condition_n in_o which_o the_o believer_n at_o that_o present_a be_v this_o i_o say_v i_o judge_v the_o right_a for_o the_o other_o sense_n represent_v those_o word_n in_o the_o love_n of_o god_n as_o if_o they_o signify_v in_o mind_v the_o love_n of_o god_n or_o the_o like_a be_v include_v in_o the_o word_n building_n up_o yourselves_o on_o your_o most_o holy_a faith_n as_o we_o may_v see_v in_o consider_v that_o phrase_n and_o therefore_o i_o conceive_v the_o apostle_n will_v not_o speak_v the_o same_o thing_n twice_o in_o the_o same_o breath_n as_o it_o be_v beside_o that_o his_o sentence_n shall_v be_v somewhat_o defective_a in_o omit_v the_o word_n mind_v or_o the_o like_a whereas_o in_o the_o other_o sense_n all_o thing_n be_v plain_a and_o the_o former_a observation_n from_o these_o word_n evident_o appear_v to_o be_v employ_v namely_o that_o unfeigned_a believer_n be_v in_o the_o love_n of_o god_n 3._o obser_n 3._o where_o we_o shall_v mind_n 1._o what_o be_v mean_v by_o the_o love_n of_o god_n here_o and_o then_o 2._o show_v that_o and_o how_o the_o believer_n be_v in_o it_o 1._o by_o the_o love_n of_o god_n be_v sometime_o mean_v and_o signify_v his_o love_a merciful_a pitiful_a and_o compassionate_a affection_n in_o which_o he_o will_v and_o desire_v the_o good_a of_o the_o party_n love_v and_o do_v that_o that_o he_o see_v needful_a and_o conducible_a thereto_o yet_o so_o as_o not_o in_o the_o mean_a while_n like_v or_o approve_v or_o take_v into_o fellowship_n with_o himself_o the_o party_n love_v because_o of_o the_o unfitness_n and_o incapacity_n in_o the_o present_a condition_n for_o it_o a_o love_n of_o pity_n commiseration_n and_o well-willing_a but_o not_o of_o own_v and_o delight_n and_o so_o it_o be_v say_v john_n 3.16_o god_n so_o love_v the_o world_n that_o he_o give_v his_o only_a beget_v son_n that_o whosoever_o believe_v in_o he_o shall_v not_o perish_v but_o have_v everlasting_a life_n which_o be_v only_o mean_v of_o such_o a_o pity_v and_o well-willing_a love_n not_o of_o own_v and_o approve_v love_n for_o it_o be_v not_o say_v that_o god_n so_o love_v the_o world_n as_o that_o he_o approve_v its_o state_n and_o way_n or_o own_v it_o to_o be_v his_o peculiar_a people_n his_o portion_n and_o the_o heir_n of_o his_o kingdom_n or_o admit_v it_o into_o fellowship_n with_o himself_o no_o the_o world_n be_v there_o plain_o person_n not_o as_o yet_o believe_v in_o he_o or_o in_o his_o son_n but_o in_o such_o a_o condition_n as_o need_v his_o son_n be_v give_v to_o do_v that_o for_o it_o and_o receive_v that_o power_n and_o fitness_n thereupon_o to_o help_v it_o as_o may_v render_v he_o a_o object_n to_o be_v believe_v in_o by_o it_o be_v in_o such_o a_o sinful_a wretched_a ungodly_a state_n as_o in_o which_o it_o be_v liable_a to_o perish_v in_o its_o wickedness_n or_o sinfulness_n and_o therefore_o god_n can_v not_o as_o in_o that_o state_n in_o which_o he_o be_v yet_o say_v so_o to_o love_v it_o as_o to_o give_v his_o son_n approve_v of_o it_o or_o admit_v it_o into_o his_o presence_n to_o the_o enjoyment_n of_o fellowship_n with_o he_o and_o life_n therein_o and_o that_o be_v evident_a for_o can_v god_n as_o then_o and_o in_o that_o state_n have_v delight_v in_o own_a and_o approve_v of_o it_o and_o so_o admit_v it_o into_o fellowship_n with_o himself_o and_o have_v god_n according_o so_o have_v love_v it_o as_o so_o to_o do_v than_o be_v it_o in_o no_o danger_n of_o perish_v much_o less_o in_o no_o such_o danger_n as_o that_o it_o need_v the_o come_n forth_o and_o death_n and_o sacrifice_n of_o christ_n to_o save_v it_o therefrom_o unless_o we_o can_v imagine_v that_o god_n send_v christ_n only_o to_o preserve_v the_o world_n in_o his_o own_n approve_v love_n and_o not_o to_o procure_v that_o it_o may_v be_v so_o love_v or_o have_v a_o way_n to_o be_v bring_v into_o it_o which_o be_v contrary_a to_o the_o scripture_n which_o both_o tell_v
