yet_o all_o the_o world_n know_v what_o herod_n be_v 6._o mark_v 6._o you_o will_v say_v again_o but_o i_o be_o go_v further_o than_o so_o for_o i_o do_v not_o only_o hear_v the_o word_n and_o that_o with_o delight_n but_o i_o have_v leave_v many_o sin_n since_o i_o have_v hear_v the_o word_n and_o be_v not_o this_o a_o good_a sign_n sure_o this_o likewise_o be_v but_o a_o good_a beginning_n for_o first_o it_o be_v not_o enough_o to_o leave_v many_o sin_n unless_o thou_o endeavour_v to_o leave_v all_o otherwise_o god_n that_o for_o one_o sin_n of_o pride_n cast_v the_o angel_n out_o of_o heaven_n for_o one_o disobedience_n thrust_v adam_n out_o of_o paradise_n and_o for_o one_o only_a lie_n show_v his_o judgement_n on_o ananias_n will_v likewise_o reject_v thou_o for_o any_o one_o sin_n if_o thou_o take_v delight_n to_o continue_v in_o the_o same_o second_o as_o it_o be_v not_o enough_o to_o leave_v many_o sin_n unless_o thou_o endeavour_v to_o leave_v all_o so_o this_o be_v not_o sufficient_a unless_o as_o thou_o leave_v evil_a so_o thou_o do_v good_a for_o as_o that_o be_v not_o to_o be_v count_v a_o good_a ground_n which_o only_o leave_v bring_v forth_o evil_a fruit_n except_o it_o likewise_o bring_v forth_o good_a fruit_n so_o god_n will_v not_o repute_v he_o for_o a_o good_a man_n who_o only_o leave_v evil_a but_o do_v no_o good_a the_o fruitless_a figtree_n be_v the_o one_o in_o the_o end_n of_o the_o former_a chapter_n where_o he_o miraculous_o cure_v a_o blindman_n the_o other_o in_o the_o begin_n of_o this_o chapter_n where_o he_o wrought_v a_o more_o miraculous_a cure_n in_o the_o sudden_a conversion_n of_o a_o sinful_a publican_n thereby_o to_o teach_v we_o that_o he_o indeed_o be_v that_o skilful_a physician_n that_o cure_v both_o our_o corporal_a and_o spiritual_a disease_n he_o who_o he_o cure_v before_o be_v a_o poor_a beggar_n he_o who_o he_o

please_v and_o that_o without_o any_o breach_n of_o justice_n be_v revenge_v on_o the_o sudden_a upon_o the_o wicked_a without_o send_v unto_o they_o and_o give_v they_o warning_n but_o first_o he_o threaten_v before_o he_o punish_v to_o teach_v they_o thereby_o to_o avoid_v his_o judgement_n 20.10_o deut._n 20.10_o god_n make_v this_o law_n dent._n 20._o that_o no_o city_n shall_v be_v destroy_v before_o that_o peace_n have_v be_v offer_v unto_o it_o that_o before_o their_o destruction_n they_o may_v have_v warning_n and_o may_v embrace_v if_o they_o will_v the_o condition_n of_o peace_n to_o prevent_v their_o ruin_n as_o god_n will_v have_v we_o to_o deal_v in_o mercy_n with_o our_o enemy_n so_o he_o himself_o likewise_o deal_v with_o sinner_n first_o giving_z they_o warning_n and_o threaten_v his_o judgement_n before_o be_v inflict_v they_o though_o god_n be_v high_o offend_v with_o pharaoh_n for_o deal_v so_o cruel_o with_o the_o child_n of_o israel_n yet_o god_n will_v not_o send_v his_o judgement_n upon_o he_o till_o moses_n be_v send_v to_o foretell_v he_o of_o they_o though_o god_n be_v so_o offend_v with_o the_o old_a world_n for_o their_o sin_n that_o he_o purpose_v to_o overwhelm_v it_o with_o water_n and_o by_o a_o universal_a deluge_n to_o destroy_v all_o flesh_n yet_o he_o will_v not_o do_v it_o till_o noah_n have_v forvvarn_v and_o admonish_v they_o of_o it_o and_o at_o the_o end_n of_o the_o world_n when_o the_o world_n shall_v be_v destroy_v and_o consume_v by_o fire_n 21.25_o luke_n 21.25_o yet_o there_o shall_v be_v warning_n of_o it_o for_o there_o shall_v be_v sign_n in_o the_o sun_n the_o moon_n and_o the_o star_n as_o our_o saviour_n say_v that_o the_o very_a heaven_n may_v become_v preacher_n as_o it_o be_v unto_o we_o to_o great_a city_n and_o here_o in_o the_o next_o verse_n it_o be_v call_v a_o exceed_a great_a city_n of_o three_o day_n journey_n and_o by_o that_o which_o history_n report_v of_o it_o it_o seem_v to_o have_v be_v the_o great_a city_n in_o the_o world_n and_o few_o ever_o since_o for_o largeness_n and_o beauty_n have_v be_v compare_v to_o it_o indeed_o if_o it_o be_v true_a which_o some_o write_v of_o the_o city_n quinsai_n in_o the_o kingdom_n of_o china_n it_o be_v a_o city_n far_o large_a than_o nineveh_n as_o be_v in_o compass_n a_o hundred_o mile_n but_o afterward_o it_o be_v overthrow_v by_o a_o earthquake_n and_o another_o quinsai_n build_v but_o far_o less_o be_v but_o thirty_o mile_n in_o compass_n which_o be_v just_o half_a of_o that_o bigness_n which_o nineveh_n be_v for_o nineveh_n be_v in_o compass_n no_o less_o than_o four_o hundred_o and_o fourscore_o furlong_n which_o make_v threescore_o mile_n the_o wall_n of_o nineveh_n be_v a_o hundred_o foot_n high_a and_o they_o be_v of_o that_o thickness_n that_o three_o cart_n may_v go_v side-long_a together_o upon_o they_o and_o upon_o the_o wall_n be_v fifteen_o hundred_o turret_n and_o each_o of_o they_o a_o hundred_o foot_n high_o than_o the_o wall_n the_o city_n of_o babylon_n be_v so_o great_a that_o aristotle_n in_o his_o politic_n call_v it_o a_o country_n rather_o than_o a_o city_n and_o write_v
