he_o be_v in_o heaven_n such_o thing_n be_v not_o to_o beee_v expect_v so_o some_o do_v think_v answ_n for_o answer_v first_o if_o we_o speak_v of_o his_o miraculous_a way_n of_o heal_a than_o it_o may_v be_v say_v that_o miraculous_a way_n of_o heal_a disease_n be_v a_o mercy_n more_o eminent_o put_v forth_o in_o those_o day_n of_o christ_n be_v in_o the_o flesh_n but_o if_o you_o speak_v of_o the_o thing_n itself_o heal_v disease_n cure_v of_o body_n i_o doubt_v not_o but_o we_o may_v expect_v the_o same_o mercy_n from_o jesus_n christ_n now_o that_o they_o do_v then_o and_o the_o reason_n be_v because_o there_o be_v the_o same_o ground_n for_o christ_n to_o show_v corporal_a kindness_n now_o which_o be_v then_o where_o the_o ground_n of_o a_o thing_n be_v perpetual_a moral_a and_o eternal_o the_o same_o in_o all_o age_n the_o same_o thing_n may_v be_v do_v upon_o the_o same_o ground_n but_o etc._n etc._n i_o find_v in_o the_o gospel_n a_o double_a ground_n why_o christ_n do_v heal_v corporal_a disease_n the_o first_o ground_n be_v his_o pity_n and_o sympathy_n and_o second_o to_o fulfil_v prophecy_n and_o promise_n upon_o these_o two_o ground_n do_v christ_n heal_v either_o upon_o the_o ground_n of_o pity_n and_o compassion_n as_o a_o man_n or_o else_o upon_o the_o ground_n of_o prophecy_n or_o promise_n for_o the_o first_o ground_n you_o have_v it_o in_o matth._n 14.14_o it_o be_v say_v jesus_n go_v forth_o and_o see_v a_o great_a multitude_n and_o be_v move_v with_o compassion_n towards_o they_o and_o he_o heal_v their_o sick_a compassion_n do_v move_v christ_n and_o therefore_o he_o heal_v they_o now_o observe_v jesus_n christ_n now_o in_o heaven_n have_v the_o same_o compassion_n that_o he_o have_v here_o on_o earth_n and_o that_o be_v found_v upon_o his_o keep_n or_o retain_v of_o his_o humane_a nature_n still_o if_o christ_n have_v not_o now_o in_o heaven_n our_o humane_a nature_n he_o will_v not_o have_v have_v this_o compassion_n for_o you_o shall_v find_v that_o the_o compassion_n that_o be_v in_o christ_n it_o be_v not_o build_v upon_o his_o godhead_n but_o upon_o his_o humane_a nature_n and_o therefore_o in_o heb._n 2.16_o 17._o it_o be_v say_v christ_n take_v not_o on_o he_o the_o nature_n of_o angel_n but_o he_o take_v on_o he_o the_o seed_n of_o abraham_n why_o so_o that_o he_o may_v be_v a_o merciful_a matth._n 8.17_o i_o pray_v mind_n it_o for_o it_o be_v good_a to_o know_v what_o be_v the_o ground_n of_o faith_n in_o isa_n 53._o say_v the_o prophet_n there_o sure_o he_o have_v bear_v our_o grief_n and_o carry_v our_o sorrow_n etc._n etc._n this_o be_v prophesy_v of_o jesus_n christ_n that_o he_o shall_v not_o only_o have_v compassion_n on_o our_o spiritual_a infirmity_n our_o sin_n but_o our_o corporal_n and_o this_o be_v the_o ground_n why_o he_o do_v heal_v disease_n in_o the_o time_n of_o his_o flesh_n matth._n 8.17_o it_o be_v say_v he_o heal_v all_o that_o be_v sick_a that_o it_o may_v be_v fulfil_v which_o be_v speak_v by_o isaiah_n the_o prophet_n say_v himself_o take_v our_o infirmity_n and_o bear_v our_o sickness_n here_o be_v the_o ground_n why_o christ_n do_v heal_v then_o because_o it_o be_v prophesy_v he_o shall_v bear_v our_o sickness_n now_o this_o prophecy_n be_v a_o eternal_a truth_n and_o if_o in_o the_o time_n of_o his_o flesh_n he_o do_v show_v corporal_a kindness_n that_o that_o prophecy_n may_v be_v fulfil_v he_o will_v now_o do_v the_o same_o that_o the_o same_o prophecy_n may_v be_v fulfil_v even_o in_o these_o day_n we_o may_v expect_v that_o our_o lord_n jesus_n christ_n upon_o our_o faithful_a come_n to_o he_o shall_v show_v corporal_a kindness_n to_o we_o and_o we_o as_o well_o as_o spiritual_a one_o scripture_n i_o shall_v add_v for_o the_o truth_n of_o it_o and_o that_o be_v in_o james_n 5.14_o be_v any_o man_n sick_a among_o you_o let_v he_o call_v for_o the_o elder_n of_o the_o church_n and_o let_v they_o pray_v over_o he_o etc._n etc._n and_o the_o prayer_n of_o faith_n shall_v save_v the_o sick_a etc._n etc._n here_o observe_v that_o faithful_a prayer_n shall_v prevail_v for_o
