desire_v we_o shall_v embrace_v they_o and_o live_v as_o appear_v by_o that_o solemn_a oath_n of_o he_o eze._n 33_o 11._o as_o i_o live_v say_v the_o lord_n i_o have_v no_o pleasure_n in_o the_o death_n of_o the_o wicked_a but_o that_o the_o wicked_a turn_n from_o his_o way_n and_o live_v whereto_o he_o add_v this_o passionate_a expression_n turn_v you_o turn_v you_o from_o our_o evil_a way_n for_o why_o will_v you_o die_v to_o the_o same_o purpose_n you_o may_v read_v ezek._n 18._o consider_v this_o i_o say_v and_o then_o sure_o you_o can_v but_o say_v he_o have_v great_a kindness_n to_o let_v he_o i_o say_v remember_v these_o together_o with_o those_o many_o other_o mean_n god_n have_v use_v towards_o he_o for_o the_o same_o end_n and_o he_o will_v have_v reason_n to_o confess_v god_n kindness_n not_o only_o to_o man_n soul_n in_o general_a but_o to_o his_o own_o in_o particular_a 31._o neither_o have_v he_o be_v want_v to_o our_o body_n all_o the_o good_a thing_n they_o enjoy_v as_o health_n strength_n food_n raiment_n and_o whatever_o else_o concern_v they_o be_v mere_o his_o gift_n so_o that_o indeed_o it_o be_v impossible_a we_o shall_v be_v ignorant_a of_o his_o mercy_n to_o they_o all_o those_o outward_a comfort_n and_o refreshmet_n we_o daily_o enjoy_v be_v continual_a effect_n and_o witness_n of_o it_o and_o though_o some_o enjoy_v more_o of_o these_o than_o other_o yet_o there_o be_v no_o person_n but_o enjoy_v so_o much_o in_o one_o kind_n or_o other_o as_o abundant_o show_v god_n mercy_n and_o kindness_n to_o he_o in_o respect_n of_o his_o body_n 32._o and_o now_o sure_o you_o will_v think_v it_o but_o reasonable_a we_o shall_v love_v he_o who_o be_v in_o all_o respect_n thus_o lovely_a indeed_o this_o be_v a_o duty_n so_o general_o acknowledge_v that_o if_o you_o shall_v ask_v any_o man_n the_o question_n whether_o he_o love_v god_n or_o no_o he_o will_v think_v you_o do_v he_o great_a wrong_n to_o doubt_v of_o it_o yet_o for_o all_o this_o it_o be_v too_o plain_a that_o there_o be_v very_o few_o that_o do_v indeed_o love_v he_o and_o this_o will_v soon_o be_v prove_v to_o you_o by_o examine_v a_o little_a what_o be_v the_o common_a effect_n of_o love_n which_o we_o bear_v to_o man_n like_v ourselves_o and_o then_o try_v whether_o we_o can_v show_v any_o such_o fruit_n of_o our_o love_n to_o god_n 33._o of_o that_o sort_n there_o be_v divers_a but_o for_o shortness_n i_o will_v name_v but_o two_o please_v the_o first_o be_v a_o desire_n of_o please_v the_o second_o a_o desire_n of_o enjoy_v these_o be_v constant_o the_o fruit_n of_o love_n for_o the_o first_o it_o be_v know_v by_o all_o that_o he_o that_o love_v any_o person_n be_v very_o desirous_a to_o approve_v himself_o to_o he_o to_o do_v be_v best_a and_o fit_a to_o be_v do_v and_o this_o we_o be_v to_o confess_v both_o in_o his_o command_n and_o in_o his_o dispose_n and_o order_v of_o thing_n first_o command_n whatsoever_o he_o command_v we_o either_o to_o believe_v or_o do_v we_o be_v to_o submit_v to_o his_o wisdom_n in_o both_o to_o believe_v whatever_o he_o bid_v we_o believe_v how_o impossible_a soever_o it_o seem_v to_o our_o shallow_a understanding_n and_o to_o do_v whatever_o he_o command_v we_o to_o do_v how_o contrary_a soever_o it_o be_v to_o our_o fleshly_a reason_n or_o humour_n and_o in_o both_o to_o his_o disposal_n and_o order_n of_o thing_n to_o acknowledge_v he_o dispose_v all_o thing_n most_o wise_o and_o that_o not_o only_o in_o what_o concern_v the_o world_n in_o general_n but_o also_o in_o what_o concern_v every_o one_o of_o we_o in_o particular_a so_o that_o what_o condition_n soever_o he_o put_v we_o in_o we_o be_v to_o assure_v ourselves_o it_o be_v that_o which_o be_v best_a for_o we_o since_o he_o choose_v it_o for_o we_o who_o can_v err_v and_o therefore_o never_o to_o have_v impatient_a desire_n of_o any_o thing_n in_o this_o world_n but_o to_o leave_v it_o to_o god_n to_o fit_v we_o with_o such_o a_o estate_n and_o condition_n as_o he_o see_v best_o for_o we_o and_o there_o let_v we_o quiet_o and_o content_o rest_v yea_o though_o it_o be_v such_o as_o of_o all_o other_o we_o shall_v least_o have_v wish_v for_o ourselves_o and_o this_o sure_o can_v but_o appear_v very_o reasonable_a to_o any_o that_o have_v humility_n for_o that_o have_v teach_v he_o that_o have_v they_o they_o will_v only_o prove_v snare_n to_o we_o we_o shall_v be_v draw_v into_o sin_n by_o they_o and_o this_o god_n who_o know_v all_o thing_n see_v though_o we_o do_v not_o and_o therefore_o often_o deny_v we_o those_o thing_n which_o he_o see_v will_v tend_v to_o our_o mischief_n and_o it_o be_v his_o abundant_a mercy_n that_o he_o do_v so_o let_v we_o therefore_o when_o ever_o we_o be_v disappoint_v of_o any_o of_o our_o aim_n and_o wish_n not_o only_o patient_o but_o joyful_o submit_v to_o it_o as_o know_v that_o it_o be_v certain_o best_a for_o we_o it_o be_v
