persuasion_n especial_o spiritual_a affection_n require_v eminent_a object_n to_o raise_v up_o &_o to_o improve_v they_o natural_a affection_n of_o joy_n love_n hope_v sorrow_n fear_n or_o desire_v must_v have_v suitable_a object_n to_o quicken_v they_o up_o otherwise_o they_o lie_v flat_a upon_o the_o earth_n how_o much_o more_o must_v it_o needs_o be_v so_o here_o in_o holy_a and_o divine_a affection_n whereunto_o our_o nature_n be_v less_o incline_v and_o the_o flame_n for_o lack_n of_o daily_a supply_n of_o oil_n and_o matter_n to_o nourish_v they_o do_v easy_o decay_v and_o vanish_v sacramental_a desire_n and_o longing_n therefore_o must_v needs_o presuppose_v some_o more_o than_o ordinary_a object_n to_o excite_v and_o maintain_v it_o else_o neither_o will_v a_o carnal_a heart_n easy_o rise_v to_o it_o nor_o it_o a_o good_a heart_n hold_v appetite_n and_o desire_n to_o it_o long_v together_o christ_n the_o object_n of_o desire_n be_v christ_n sundry_a way_n therefore_o it_o
