perceive_v the_o excellency_n of_o god_n creature_n and_o the_o beautiful_a frame_n of_o the_o world_n give_v it_o a_o a_o name_n agreeable_a thereunto_o and_o call_v it_o beauty_n itself_o for_o if_o dissolve_v the_o sea_n and_o the_o water_n shall_v roar_v and_o if_o the_o word_n of_o the_o apostle_n saint_n peter_n be_v true_a as_o without_o all_o peradventure_o they_o be_v most_o certain_a the_o second_o death_n satan_n have_v a_o throne_n in_o this_o world_n but_o hell_n be_v his_o seat_n and_o everlasting_a death_n be_v his_o due_n be_v not_o deceive_v for_o the_o amity_n of_o the_o world_n be_v the_o enmity_n of_o god_n the_o world_n love_v his_o own_o and_o they_o that_o will_v stand_v to_o the_o trial_n of_o the_o truth_n in_o despite_n of_o the_o world_n they_o shall_v be_v excommunicate_v and_o in_o utter_a disgrace_n with_o the_o world_n yea_o it_o shall_v so_o come_v to_o pass_v that_o the_o shed_n of_o innocent_a blood_n shall_v be_v think_v a_o thing_n of_o nothing_o in_o their_o sight_n behold_v say_v christ_n mat._n 23._o 34._o i_o send_v unto_o you_o prophet_n and_o wise_a man_n and_o scribe_n and_o of_o they_o you_o shall_v kill_v and_o crucify_v and_o friend_n wife_n and_o child_n and_o that_o which_o we_o hold_v dear_a in_o this_o world_n our_o own_o life_n for_o his_o sake_n and_o whether_o there_o be_v courage_n patience_n strength_n and_o constancy_n to_o fight_v under_o the_o banner_n of_o persecution_n well_o here_o we_o see_v what_o god_n commandment_n be_v and_o how_o he_o have_v lay_v trouble_n and_o persecution_n upon_o our_o loin_n and_o put_v adnesse_n into_o our_o heart_n and_o heaviness_n into_o our_o mind_n and_o happy_a be_v he_o yea_o happy_a be_v all_o they_o that_o can_v find_v in_o their_o heart_n willing_o to_o fulfil_v his_o will_n and_o to_o perform_v his_o commandment_n and_o patient_o to_o submit_v themselves_o to_o whatsoever_o shall_v fall_v out_o if_o god_n see_v it_o good_a for_o his_o glory_n and_o world_n and_o the_o comfort_n thereof_o and_o despise_v thy_o life_n in_o this_o respect_n choose_v which_o thou_o will_v take_v fire_n and_o water_n be_v set_v before_o thou_o life_n and_o death_n good_a &_o evil_a stretch_v out_o thy_o hand_n to_o whether_o thou_o will_v leave_v the_o one_o embrace_v the_o other_o now_o deceive_v not_o thyself_o and_o think_v thou_o have_v the_o choice_n for_o thou_o be_v not_o at_o thy_o liberty_n god_n have_v command_v to_o endure_v all_o trouble_n yea_o and_o death_n itself_o rather_o then_o to_o forsake_v his_o truth_n and_o the_o maintenance_n of_o the_o same_o if_o we_o must_v pass_v through_o the_o fire_n shall_v we_o look_v for_o water_n if_o we_o be_v command_v not_o to_o fear_v the_o sword_n shall_v we_o be_v desirous_a to_o sleep_v in_o a_o whole_a skin_n that_o which_o seem_v to_o be_v good_a to_o we_o be_v evil_a and_o that_o which_o we_o think_v to_o be_v life_n we_o shall_v find_v to_o be_v death_n seek_v not_o to_o save_v thy_o life_n for_o thou_o must_v loose_v it_o and_o better_a to_o loose_v it_o in_o this_o world_n then_o in_o the_o world_n to_o come_v if_o thou_o refuse_v thou_o shall_v be_v refuse_v if_o thou_o deny_v thou_o shall_v be_v deny_v mat._n 16._o 26._o alas_o what_o shall_v it_o profit_v a_o man_n or_o any_o of_o we_o all_o though_o we_o shall_v be_v king_n and_o emperor_n and_o though_o we_o shall_v he_o remember_v and_o behold_v as_o the_o signet_n on_o his_o right_a hand_n joh._n 14._o 2._o in_o my_o father_n house_n be_v many_o dwell_a place_n if_o it_o be_v not_o so_o i_o will_v have_v tell_v you_o i_o go_v to_o prepare_v a_o place_n for_o you_o also_o as_o well_o as_o for_o my_o self_n and_o though_o i_o go_v to_o prepare_v a_o place_n for_o you_o i_o will_v come_v again_o and_o receive_v you_o unto_o myself_o that_o where_o i_o be_o there_o may_v you_o be_v also_o now_o though_o he_o be_v absent_a from_o we_o yet_o he_o remember_v we_o and_o send_v we_o many_o token_n of_o his_o love_n to_o put_v we_o in_o mind_n that_o we_o shall_v come_v to_o his_o sight_n to_o our_o great_a comfort_n which_o token_n be_v his_o gift_n and_o grace_n benefit_n and_o blessing_n daily_o pour_v upon_o us._n but_o of_o all_o token_n this_o be_v the_o sure_a that_o he_o have_v send_v his_o holy_a spirit_n into_o our_o heart_n to_o witness_v unto_o our_o spirtite_n that_o we_o be_v his_o child_n and_o shall_v also_o in_o time_n to_o come_v be_v heir_n of_o the_o kingdom_n who_o although_o we_o do_v not_o present_o see_v yet_o be_v we_o in_o good_a hope_n that_o we_o shall_v see_v and_o in_o the_o mean_a time_n we_o must_v with_o patience_n abide_v for_o it_o they_o shall_v see_v he_o which_o put_v he_o to_o death_n and_o pierce_v 39_o mat._n 23._o 39_o he_o through_o but_o countenance_n of_o the_o sun_n at_o the_o spring_n time_n appear_v than_o every_o thing_n that_o lie_v dead_a and_o bury_v péer_v out_o of_o the_o ground_n and_o take_v heart_n and_o grow_v to_o
