psalm_n of_o my_o text_n in_o order_n to_o his_o comfortable_a go_v hence_o viz._n that_o god_n will_v take_v away_o his_o transgression_n psal_n 39.8_o as_o long_o as_o there_o be_v any_o sin_n any_o guilt_n lie_v upon_o our_o conscience_n any_o sin_n unpardoned_a any_o difference_n between_o god_n and_o we_o any_o frown_n in_o his_o face_n towards_o we_o we_o be_v unready_a for_o death_n and_o can_v with_o that_o comfort_n and_o boldness_n of_o spirit_n welcome_o it_o as_o we_o ought_v but_o when_o our_o peace_n with_o god_n be_v maintain_v and_o we_o have_v a_o renew_a sense_n of_o his_o pardon_v love_n in_o our_o soul_n then_o be_v thing_n right_a and_o in_o order_n with_o we_o indeed_o deed_n and_o we_o may_v think_v of_o death_n with_o boldness_n and_o comfort_n and_o therefore_o mind_n this_o as_o ever_o you_o will_v be_v find_v ready_a for_o a_o die_a hour_n every_o day_n even_o thing_n between_o god_n and_o you_o every_o day_n get_v a_o fresh_a sense_n of_o pardon_n from_o he_o first_o as_o near_o as_o possible_a may_v be_v do_v nothing_o that_o may_v occasion_v any_o breach_n between_o god_n and_o you_o or_o raise_v any_o frown_n in_o his_o face_n towards_o you_o if_o which_o he_o may_v enjoy_v the_o soon_o we_o fall_v upon_o the_o work_n of_o heaven_n and_o eternity_n the_o soon_o we_o come_v to_o a_o taste_n and_o beginning_n of_o heaven_n and_o a_o bless_a eternity_n in_o our_o soul_n o_o the_o sweet_a embrace_n brace_n the_o bless_a discovery_n the_o glorious_a income_n of_o love_n and_o delight_n that_o the_o soul_n lose_v by_o his_o delay_n to_o get_v into_o christ_n and_o to_o walk_v with_o god_n and_o to_o mind_n eternal_a concernment_n poor_a soul_n by_o thy_o delay_n thou_o have_v live_v upon_o husk_n and_o swill_n all_o thy_o day_n hitherto_o whereas_o thou_o may_v have_v eat_v bread_n in_o thy_o father_n house_n and_o drink_v wine_n new_a in_o thy_o father_n kingdom_n thou_o have_v live_v on_o the_o muddy_a dungy_a drossy_a and_o the_o father_n right_a hand_n beside_o by_o delay_n the_o work_n of_o thy_o soul_n grow_v more_o difficult_a hereby_o corruption_n grow_v more_o strong_a and_o the_o heart_n grow_v more_o hard_a by_o every_o day_n delay_n the_o old_a enmity_n strengthen_v itself_o and_o the_o soul_n be_v more_o and_o more_o settle_a upon_o its_o lees_n for_o accustomedness_n in_o sin_v harden_v the_o heart_n in_o sin_n as_o be_v hint_v jer._n 13.23_o every_o day_n the_o soul_n be_v more_o alienate_v from_o christ_n and_o harden_v against_o he_o at_o best_a if_o thy_o soul_n do_v at_o last_o come_v to_o god_n of_o heaven_n the_o truth_n be_v be_v there_o no_o danger_n in_o they_o no_o disadvantage_n by_o they_o to_o the_o soul_n yet_o the_o sinfulness_n of_o they_o be_v such_o as_o shall_v make_v we_o afraid_a of_o they_o in_o every_o day_n delay_v to_o mind_n and_o pursue_v soul-work_n there_o be_v positive_a rebellion_n and_o disobedience_n to_o the_o will_n and_o command_n of_o god_n for_o the_o command_n be_v to_o day_n if_o you_o will-hear_a his_o voice_n harden_v not_o your_o heart_n heb._n 3.7_o 8._o by_o delay_v therefore_o thou_o rebelle_v against_o the_o command_n in_o every_o to_o you_o he_o offer_v you_o life_n he_o offer_v you_o peace_n he_o offer_v you_o pardon_v he_o offer_v you_o righteousness_n he_o offer_v you_o strength_n he_o offer_v you_o all_o the_o treasure_n of_o heaven_n and_o withal_o call_v upon_o you_o to_o accept_v these_o offer_n and_o to_o take_v home_o these_o thing_n to_o yourselves_o but_o you_o by_o your_o delay_n power_n contempt_n upon_o
