part_n of_o he_o that_o he_o love_v for_o ever_o this_o man_n above_o all_o other_o must_v be_v extreme_o afflict_v with_o the_o thought_n of_o die_a because_o if_o his_o opinion_n be_v true_a he_o have_v nothing_o to_o love_n but_o his_o body_n and_o this_o world_n he_o must_v look_v upon_o himself_o to_o be_v only_o make_v for_o this_o world_n and_o therefore_o

account_n that_o the_o scripture_n give_v we_o of_o it_o and_o therefore_o since_o there_o be_v such_o mistake_a notion_n of_o a_o resurrection_n among_o man_n it_o be_v necessary_a we_o shall_v consider_v the_o true_a nature_n and_o import_n os_fw-la it_o and_o 1._o it_o imply_v that_o we_o shall_v return_v from_o a_o state_n of_o death_n and_o live_v again_o or_o that_o the_o soul_n which_o be_v separate_v from_o the_o body_n by_o death_n shall_v return_v from_o its_o state_n of_o separation_n to_o live_v in_o a_o body_n again_o 2._o that_o we_o shall_v live_v in_o these_o very_a body_n that_o be_v mortal_a and_o die_v 3._o that_o we_o shall_v begin_v then_o to_o enter_v upon_o a_o immortal_a life_n chap._n i._n 1._o it_o imply_v that_o we_o shall_v return_v from_o a_o state_n of_o death_n and_o live_v again_o or_o that_o the_o soul_n which_o be_v separate_v from_o the_o body_n by_o death_n shall_v return_v from_o its_o state_n of_o separation_n to_o live_v in_o a_o body_n again_o when_o we_o die_v these_o earthly_a tabernacle_n fall_v down_o and_o go_v to_o the_o dust_n and_o our_o soul_n which_o dwell_v in_o they_o take_v their_o flight_n and_o go_v to_o the_o place_n of_o unbodied_a spirit_n this_o separation_n of_o soul_n and_o body_n be_v a_o effect_n of_o the_o divine_a displeasure_n upon_o we_o it_o be_v to_o deprive_v we_o of_o that_o particle_n of_o his_o breath_n or_o spirit_n by_o which_o when_o he_o make_v man_n he_o become_v a_o live_a soul_n gen._n 2.7_o and_o according_o when_o he_o resolve_v upon_o the_o destruction_n of_o the_o old_a world_n he_o threaten_v they_o that_o his_o spirit_n shall_v not_o always_o abide_v in_o those_o man_n 〈◊〉_d 〈◊〉_d 〈◊〉_d 〈◊〉_d 〈◊〉_d gen._n 6.3_o i.e._n shall_v not_o always_o lodge_v or_o inhabit_v in_o which_o some_o man_n dream_v of_o for_o all_o that_o this_o denunciation_n teach_v we_o be_v that_o god_n when_o we_o die_v do_v withdraw_v the_o soul_n out_o of_o the_o body_n and_o this_o he_o may_v do_v though_o he_o assign_v it_o another_o place_n to_o live_v in_o after_o he_o have_v take_v it_o out_o of_o the_o body_n now_o this_o we_o may_v much_o rather_o conclude_v from_o this_o threat_n than_o that_o it_o be_v put_v into_o a_o state_n of_o insensibility_n by_o death_n for_o it_o be_v a_o threat_n to_o deprive_v man_n of_o the_o blessing_n he_o have_v give_v he_o when_o he_o make_v he_o the_o most_o natural_a sense_n must_v be_v this_o i_o will_v punish_v these_o man_n by_o take_v away_o their_o soul_n from_o they_o and_o make_v they_o live_v a_o vagabond_n life_n out_o of_o jacob_n gen._n 37.35_o 〈◊〉_d 〈◊〉_d 〈◊〉_d 〈◊〉_d 〈◊〉_d i_o shall_v go_v to_o hades_n to_o my_o son_n mourning_n i.e._n to_o the_o place_n where_o his_o soul_n be_v go_v for_o he_o believe_v that_o his_o body_n be_v devour_v by_o wild_a beast_n and_o the_o hope_n of_o die_v the_o same_o death_n can_v not_o be_v the_o thing_n that_o he_o comfort_v himself_o withal_o so_o likewise_o that_o expression_n of_o the_o psalmist_n be_v to_o be_v understand_v thou_o will_v not_o leave_v my_o soul_n in_o hell_n nor_o suffer_v thy_o holy_a one_o to_o see_v corruption_n psal_n 16.10_o i.e._n thou_o will_v
