for_o three_o and_o last_o this_o good_a work_n which_o we_o offer_v for_o the_o soul_n in_o purgatory_n be_v satisfactory_a and_o according_a to_o this_o satisfactory_a virtue_n which_o it_o have_v &_o not_o as_o it_o be_v either_o meritorious_a or_o impetratory_n we_o do_v common_o apply_v it_o to_o the_o soul_n in_o purgatory_n because_o the_o thing_n which_o these_o poor_a soul_n stand_v most_o in_o need_n of_o be_v make_v satisfaction_n for_o their_o sin_n not_o full_o satisfy_v for_o which_o satisfaction_n we_o make_v in_o their_o behalf_n as_o holy_a job_n do_v in_o behalf_n of_o equal_a merit_n &_o the_o one_o of_o they_o shall_v but_o give_v a_o cup_n of_o cold_a water_n more_o for_o christ_n sake_n than_o the_o other_o shall_v give_v this_o man_n for_o this_o so_o small_a then_o if_o we_o have_v not_o apply_v they_o to_o this_o end_n and_o not_o only_o more_o but_o very_o much_o more_o and_o therefore_o though_o we_o do_v sustain_v other_o many_o and_o great_a inconvenience_n yet_o they_o be_v all_o to_o be_v account_v as_o nothing_o in_o comparison_n of_o these_o inestimable_a treasure_n of_o merit_n which_o by_o this_o devotion_n we_o purchase_v the_o cause_n which_o make_v this_o act_n of_o so_o high_a merit_n may_v be_v many_o for_o as_o we_o have_v show_v in_o the_o sixth_o chapter_n this_o devotion_n may_v be_v a_o work_n
wherefore_o we_o must_v be_v liable_a to_o some_o punishment_n for_o every_o idle_a word_n so_o that_o if_o a_o man_n of_o full_a age_n convert_v from_o idolatry_n be_v baptize_v and_o by_o and_o by_o after_o kill_v before_o he_o commit_v any_o other_o sin_n then_o the_o speak_n of_o one_o idle_a word_n only_o shall_v this_o man_n be_v torment_v for_o ever_o and_o ever_o so_o long_o as_o god_n double_v or_o redouble_v can_v never_o come_v to_o make_v a_o sum_n of_o year_n equal_a to_o the_o year_n contain_v in_o the_o eternity_n of_o pain_n due_a to_o this_o sin_n before_o it_o be_v
