affection_n the_o bond_n of_o love_n be_v natural_a betwixt_o a_o father_n and_o a_o son_n a_o father_n have_v a_o natural_a affection_n to_o his_o child_n more_o than_o to_o another_o and_o a_o child_n a_o natural_a affection_n to_o his_o father_n more_o than_o to_o another_o man_n and_o love_v though_o there_o be_v no_o other_o reason_n will_v make_v the_o party_n love_v do_v much_o for_o begetter_n of_o our_o love_n to_o he_o we_o love_v he_o because_o he_o love_v we_o first_o a_o poor_a sinner_n that_o be_v yesterday_o the_o last_o week_n or_o month_n in_o his_o sin_n hang_v over_o hell_n in_o the_o fetter_n of_o the_o devil_n god_n come_v to_o he_o and_o by_o the_o word_n of_o his_o grace_n lay_v hold_v of_o he_o snatch_v he_o out_o of_o his_o sin_n out_o of_o the_o devil_n fetter_n and_o set_v he_o out_o of_o the_o reach_n of_o condemnation_n and_o then_o say_v god_n now_o o_o sinner_n behold_v and_o see_v what_o a_o miserable_a condition_n the_o last_o week_n or_o month_n thou_o be_v in_o and_o what_o a_o bless_a condition_n through_o my_o love_n towards_o thou_o thou_o now_o be_v in_o the_o soul_n see_v this_o stand_v amaze_v and_o say_v the_o soul_n lord_n see_v thy_o love_n towards_o i_o have_v be_v and_o be_v so_o great_a behold_v here_o i_o be_o now_o will_v i_o be_v thy_o servant_n for_o ever_o whereas_o i_o have_v all_o my_o day_n hitherto_o be_v father_n or_o a_o undutiful_a and_o grieve_v he_o o_o then_o say_v the_o soul_n do_v the_o question_n indeed_o lie_v here_o be_v there_o no_o question_n at_o all_o about_o my_o salvation_n but_o have_v god_n and_o my_o father_n so_o provide_v for_o that_o that_o that_o be_v out_o of_o doubt_n be_v this_o the_o question_n whether_o i_o shall_v be_v a_o dutiful_a child_n or_o no_o and_o o_o be_v he_o able_a at_o such_o time_n in_o faith_n to_o say_v it_o he_o shall_v know_v and_o feel_v by_o experience_n so_o put_v the_o case_n a_o believer_n be_v under_o some_o violent_a temptation_n can_v he_o look_v satan_n in_o the_o face_n and_o say_v thou_o wretched_a devil_n thou_o will_v tempt_v i_o to_o this_o and_o the_o other_o evil_n to_o grieve_v god_n but_o what_o a_o fool_n be_v thou_o for_o shall_v i_o yield_v unto_o thou_o thy_o end_n will_v never_o be_v accomplish_v for_o thou_o shall_v never_o have_v i_o i_o shall_v never_o perish_v the_o say_v this_o in_o faith_n will_v more_o silence_v the_o tempter_n and_o suppress_v temptation_n than_o can_v be_v do_v in_o any_o other_o way_n this_o therefore_o be_v a_o strong_a motive_n to_o gospel-holiness_n and_o such_o a_o one_o that_o i_o dare_v bold_o say_v that_o the_o soul_n that_o have_v find_v his_o love_n and_o obedience_n at_o any_o time_n flow_v from_o hence_o i._n e._n have_v have_v a_o firm_a persuasion_n in_o his_o spirit_n that_o heaven_n be_v he_o and_o from_o this_o persuasion_n have_v be_v stir_v up_o to_o do_v the_o will_n of_o god_n and_o have_v go_v about_o the_o same_o with_o more_o cheerfulness_n and_o delight_n than_o at_o another_o time_n may_v conclude_v that_o his_o obedience_n be_v a_o fruit_n of_o the_o gospel_n and_o walk_v after_o the_o gospel_n for_o how_o can_v it_o be_v legal_a see_v 1_o here_o be_v no_o work_n from_o slavish_a fear_n for_o what_o servile_a fear_n can_v there_o be_v when_o i_o know_v beforehand_o that_o my_o condition_n be_v sure_a it_o do_v bring_v i_o under_o wrath_n for_o i_o be_o deliver_v from_o it_o what_o slavish_a fear_n be_v here_o 2_o here_o be_v no_o work_n for_o heaven_n or_o the_o reward_n for_o how_o can_v a_o soul_n be_v say_v to_o work_v for_o heaven_n when_o he_o know_v and_o firm_o believe_v that_o heaven_n be_v he_o before_o he_o work_v if_o a_o father_n make_v over_o his_o estate_n to_o his_o son_n by_o deed_n of_o gift_n and_o put_v he_o in_o possession_n thereof_o and_o the_o son_n after_o he_o be_v possess_v of_o his_o father_n estate_n do_v more_o for_o his_o father_n than_o ever_o before_o will_v you_o pray_v for_o they_o because_o christ_n do_v so_o do_v good_a to_o all_o as_o i_o have_v opportunity_n because_o christ_n do_v so_o despise_v the_o honour_n and_o reputation_n of_o the_o world_n because_o christ_n do_v so_o continue_v in_o prayer_n because_o christ_n do_v so_o desire_v of_o god_n humility_n patience_n meekness_n thankfulness_n submissiveness_n to_o the_o will_n of_o god_n and_o contentedness_n therewith_o because_o i_o find_v all_o this_o be_v in_o christ_n strive_v to_o be_v holy_a in_o all_o manner_n of_o conversation_n and_o if_o it_o be_v possible_a to_o be_v perfect_a because_o i_o know_v christ_n be_v so_o all_o this_o i_o press_v after_o to_o the_o end_n i_o may_v be_v like_o christ_n that_o if_o it_o be_v possible_a there_o may_v be_v nothing_o in_o i_o but_o what_o be_v in_o christ_n nothing_o do_v by_o i_o but_o what_o christ_n will_v have_v do_v nor_o leave_v undo_v by_o i_o but_o what_o christ_n will_v have_v leave_v undo_v 4_o that_o i_o may_v keep_v up_o my_o communion_n with_o god_n although_o the_o union_n which_o saint_n have_v with_o god_n by_o mean_n of_o christ_n depend_v whole_o upon_o that_o which_o be_v without_o viz._n their_o be_v marry_v to_o christ_n and_o clothe_v with_o his_o righteousness_n yet_o the_o communion_n which_o saint_n have_v with_o god_n by_o mean_n of_o the_o spirit_n have_v much_o dependence_n upon_o a_o saint_n walk_v so_o that_o let_v a_o saint_n walk_v carnal_o and_o loose_o though_o he_o shall_v not_o break_v the_o marriage_n knot_n and_o loose_v his_o union_n yet_o he_o shall_v grieve_v the_o spirit_n and_o loose_v his_o communion_n and_o on_o the_o other_o side_n let_v a_o saint_n walk_v spiritual_o and_o as_o become_v the_o gospel_n as_o his_o union_n remain_v so_o shall_v his_o communion_n also_o be_v keep_v up_o fresh_a and_o in_o the_o life_n and_o sweetness_n of_o it_o he_o shall_v feel_v the_o same_o in_o his_o own_o soul_n yea_o experience_n tell_v a_o saint_n that_o when_o as_o at_o any_o time_n he_o have_v walk_v as_o a_o obedient_a child_n observe_v and_o do_v with_o delight_n and_o in_o simplicity_n his_o father_n will_n he_o have_v then_o hold_v up_o much_o sweet_a communion_n with_o god_n and_o contrariwise_o when_o he_o have_v be_v vain_a and_o wanton_a and_o give_v too_o much_o liberty_n to_o his_o
