alas_o how_o far_o be_o i_o heerefrom_o as_o i_o be_o guilty_a of_o unthankfulness_n for_o this_o thy_o call_v i_o unto_o the_o bless_a communion_n of_o thy_o dear_a son_n and_o church_n yea_o of_o thyself_o so_o be_o i_o guilty_a of_o self-love_n unmercifulnesse_n pride_n arrogancy_n forgetfulness_n and_o contempt_n of_o thy_o child_n for_o else_o i_o can_v not_o but_o be_v otherwise_o affect_v and_o otherwise_o labour_n than_o i_o do_v oh_o be_v merciful_a unto_o i_o good_a father_n forgive_v i_o and_o grant_v for_o christ_n sake_n that_o as_o my_o tongue_n sound_v this_o word_n our_o so_o i_o may_v in_o heart_n feel_v the_o true_a joy_n of_o thy_o bless_a communion_n and_o the_o true_a love_n and_o compassion_n which_o thy_o child_n have_v and_o feel_v towards_o their_o brethren_n that_o i_o may_v rejoice_v in_o all_o trouble_n in_o respect_n of_o that_o joyful_a communion_n that_o i_o may_v deny_v myself_o to_o honour_v thy_o child_n upon_o earth_n and_o endeavour_v myself_o to_o do_v they_o good_a for_o thy_o sake_n through_o jesus_n christ_n our_o lord_n i_o come_v only_o to_o thou_o to_o give_v i_o that_o which_o i_o can_v nor_o must_v not_o else_o where_o have_v and_o thou_o require_v it_o of_o i_o that_o therefore_o i_o shall_v as_o thy_o child_n come_v and_o crave_v it_o to_o thy_o glory_n which_o be_v in_o heaven_n as_o by_o these_o word_n our_o father_n i_o be_o teach_v to_o glory_n and_o rejoice_v for_o the_o bless_a communion_n which_o i_o be_o call_v to_o with_o thou_o dear_a father_n with_o thy_o christ_n and_o wiâ—h_v the_o holy_a church_n so_o also_o be_o i_o here_o teach_v by_o these_o word_n which_o be_v in_o heaven_n to_o rejoice_v in_o respect_n of_o the_o place_n and_o bless_a joy_n whereunto_o at_o the_o length_n in_o thy_o good_a time_n i_o shall_v come_v for_o now_o i_o may_v perceive_v that_o as_o heaven_n be_v thy_o home_n so_o be_v it_o i_o also_o be_v as_o i_o be_o thy_o child_n through_o christ_n although_o here_o for_o a_o time_n i_o be_o bodily_a on_o earth_n and_o in_o misery_n again_o by_o these_o word_n which_o be_v in_o heaven_n i_o be_o admonish_v not_o only_o to_o discern_v thou_o from_o earthly_a father_n and_o to_o know_v how_o that_o thou_o be_v almighty_a present_a in_o all_o place_n and_o of_o most_o purity_n to_o confirm_v thereby_o my_o faith_n to_o be_v provoke_v the_o more_o to_o fear_v thou_o to_o reverence_v thou_o etc._n etc._n but_o also_o i_o be_o admonish_v to_o judge_v of_o thy_o fatherly_a love_n by_o heavenly_a benefit_n and_o not_o by_o corporal_a simple_o &_o alone_o for_o oftentimes_o the_o wicked_a prosper_v more_o in_o the_o world_n and_o have_v more_o worldly_a benefit_n than_o thy_o child_n so_o that_o by_o this_o i_o see_v thou_o will_v pull_v up_o my_o mind_n from_o earth_n and_o earthly_a thing_n to_o heaven_n and_o heavenly_a thing_n and_o that_o i_o shall_v see_v further_o by_o corporal_a benefit_n thy_o heavenly_a providence_n for_o i_o for_o if_o thou_o place_v i_o thus_o on_o earth_n and_o thus_o bless_v i_o as_o thou_o do_v and_o hitherto_o have_v do_v from_o my_o youth_n up_o in_o that_o thou_o be_v nothing_o so_o careful_a for_o my_o body_n as_o for_o my_o soul_n how_o shall_v i_o but_o think_v much_o of_o thy_o providence_n for_o it_o be_v thy_o home_n where_o be_v such_o glory_n as_o the_o eye_n have_v not_o see_v &c_n &c_n of_o be_o so_o earthly_a mind_v so_o little_a desirous_a of_o my_o home_n so_o unthankful_a for_o thy_o providence_n and_o fatherly_a protection_n here_o on_o earth_n to_o rejoice_v because_o of_o my_o home_n and_o the_o great_a glory_n thereof_o because_o thou_o do_v so_o provide_v for_o i_o here_o because_o thou_o do_v so_o correct_v and_o chasten_v i_o etc._n etc._n but_o alas_o i_o be_o altogether_o a_o wretch_n earthly_a and_o unthankful_a not_o only_o for_o these_o corporal_a benefit_n health_n riches_n friend_n fame_n wisdom_n etc._n etc._n for_o thy_o fatherly_a correction_n sickness_n temptation_n etc._n etc._n but_o also_o for_o thy_o heavenly_a benefit_n for_o christ_n jesus_n for_o the_o promise_n of_o thy_o spirit_n for_o thy_o gospel_n etc._n etc._n yea_o even_o for_o heaven_n itself_o and_o thy_o whole_a glory_n as_o the_o israelite_n be_v for_o the_o land_n of_o canaan_n 106._o psal_n 106._o and_o therefore_o never_o enjoy_v it_o but_o perish_v in_o the_o wilderness_n i_o be_o proud_a in_o prosperity_n and_o forget_v thou_o wax_v secure_a and_o careless_a i_o be_o impatient_a in_o the_o cross_n and_o to_o much_o consider_v worldly_a discommodity_n oh_o
