now_o he_o which_o stablish_v we_o with_o you_o in_o christ_n and_o have_v anoint_v we_o be_v god._n as_o for_o the_o real_a importance_n of_o the_o word_n the_o only_a remain_a difficulty_n if_o that_o be_v any_o be_v what_o divine_a work_n the_o apostle_n here_o speak_v of_o in_o answer_n to_o this_o i_o shall_v only_o take_v notice_n of_o the_o three_o follow_v particular_n which_o be_v most_o full_a and_o comprehensive_a in_o the_o case_n 1._o god_n as_o he_o be_v our_o creator_n and_o the_o god_n of_o nature_n have_v give_v we_o immortal_a soul_n furnish_v with_o faculty_n to_o prepare_v for_o a_o better_a life_n he_o have_v make_v they_o pure_a spiritual_a noble_a intellectual_a substance_n noâ—_n consist_v of_o any_o contrary_a principle_n which_o by_o act_v upon_o or_o against_o each_o other_o may_v infer_v the_o dissolution_n of_o the_o whole_a now_o in_o that_o he_o have_v give_v the_o soul_n such_o a_o nature_n it_o be_v manifest_a that_o he_o design_v it_o for_o a_o eternal_a state_n because_o he_o do_v nothing_o in_o vain_a but_o always_o fit_v his_o creature_n for_o the_o respective_a end_n whereunto_o he_o have_v appoint_v they_o and_o since_o both_o gracâ—_n and_o glory_n presuppose_v nature_n that_o be_v the_o fundamental_a capacity_n of_o the_o subject_a therefore_o this_o particular_a may_v well_o enough_o be_v take_v in_o though_o it_o can_v reasonable_o he_o imagine_v that_o this_o be_v the_o main_a much_o less_o the_o only_a thing_n intend_v in_o the_o text._n the_o soul_n of_o the_o vilâ—â—_n man_n yea_o even_o the_o devil_n themselves_o be_v thus_o faâ—_n wrought_v for_o a_o everlasting_a state_n but_o it_o be_v not_o mâ—â—â—_n immortality_n but_o a_o glorious_a and_o bless_a immortality_n that_o be_v here_o speak_v of_o so_o that_o to_o be_v wrought_v for_o this_o selfsame_a thing_n must_v needs_o signify_v something_o peculiar_a unto_o true_a believer_n for_o they_o only_o have_v a_o right_n to_o the_o heavenly_a glory_n and_o beside_o the_o greek_a word_n 〈◊〉_d 〈◊〉_d 〈◊〉_d 〈◊〉_d 〈◊〉_d seem_v not_o so_o natural_o to_o signify_v the_o create_v of_o a_o soul_n as_o some_o subsequent_a work_n upon_o it_o already_o create_v to_o which_o it_o be_v natural_a essence_n be_v presuppose_v not_o produce_v by_o it_o 2._o as_o our_o redeemer_n and_o the_o god_n of_o govern_v reconcile_a grace_n he_o have_v open_v the_o way_n to_o heaven_n for_o we_o and_o so_o deal_v with_o we_o upon_o term_n of_o mercy_n and_o compassion_n in_o order_n to_o our_o recovery_n from_o that_o sinful_a and_o miserable_a state_n into_o which_o we_o have_v bring_v ourselves_o to_o this_o end_n the_o eternal_a son_n of_o god_n in_o the_o fullness_n of_o time_n sanctify_v a_o portion_n of_o humane_a nature_n and_o take_v
