therefore_o seasonable_a it_o be_v also_o the_o more_o suitable_a in_o regard_n of_o that_o holy_a and_o gracious_a practice_n begin_v by_o our_o renown_a parliament_n go_v before_o the_o body_n of_o whole_o ignorant_a of_o the_o covenant_n of_o grace_n and_o to_o be_v shut_v up_o under_o a_o covenant_n of_o work_n all_o the_o preacher_n in_o the_o land_n be_v legal_a preacher_n the_o christian_n legal_a christian_n as_o have_v only_o the_o letter_n of_o the_o gospel_n but_o not_o understand_v the_o mystery_n or_o spiritual_a meaning_n of_o it_o as_o it_o be_v reveal_v unto_o themselves_o by_o conditional_o if_o you_o continue_v colos_n 1._o if_o you_o faint_v not_o galat._n 6._o answ_n 1._o these_o conditional_a expression_n be_v add_v not_o to_o weaken_v the_o force_n of_o those_o absolute_a promise_n before_o name_v as_o if_o one_o sort_n of_o promise_n do_v cross_v another_o and_o be_v to_o weaken_v our_o confidence_n in_o they_o but_o there_o be_v two_o other_o cause_n of_o add_v these_o condition_n one_o be_v this_o namely_o because_o the_o apostle_n in_o write_v to_o visible_a church_n he_o know_v that_o in_o all_o such_o church_n there_o be_v some_o that_o though_o they_o make_v as_o fair_a profession_n as_o the_o rest_n yet_o they_o will_v in_o time_n discover_v some_o unsoundnesse_n at_o heart_n for_o their_o sake_n therefore_o the_o apostle_n add_v these_o another_o and_o not_o both_o of_o they_o to_o the_o same_o seed_n than_o there_o be_v no_o colour_n of_o reason_n in_o the_o apostle_n objection_n for_o if_o the_o promise_n of_o grace_n be_v give_v to_o one_o seed_n of_o abraham_n that_o be_v to_o christ_n personal_a and_o the_o covenant_n of_o the_o law_n give_v to_o another_o seed_n than_o one_o need_v not_o disannul_v the_o other_o but_o they_o may_v both_o stand_v together_o for_o if_o a_o man_n make_v two_o different_a covenant_n with_o two_o several_a person_n they_o may_v both_o stand_v the_o one_o not_o impeach_v the_o other_o but_o here_o be_v the_o strength_n of_o the_o objection_n that_o it_o be_v suppose_v that_o the_o two_o covenant_n be_v make_v with_o the_o same_o person_n and_o then_o there_o be_v some_o seem_a appearance_n of_o one_o disannul_v the_o other_o therefore_o the_o strength_n of_o the_o objection_n infer_v clear_o that_o both_o the_o promise_n of_o grace_n and_o covenant_n of_o the_o law_n be_v make_v to_o the_o same_o person_n to_o abraham_n seed_n to_o all_o the_o faithful_a which_o be_v the_o child_n of_o abraham_n thus_o this_o objection_n be_v answer_v and_o the_o doctrine_n confirm_v that_o whatsoever_o salvation_n etc._n etc._n use_v 1_o to_o let_v we_o sâ—e_v the_o abundant_a grace_n and_o kindness_n of_o god_n to_o we_o poor_a captives_n vassal_n wretched_a &_o undo_v
