endure_v in_o respect_n of_o day_n and_o time_n it_o may_v be_v say_v that_o the_o church_n of_o the_o protestant_n observe_v holy_a day_n ans._n some_o church_n do_v not_o because_o the_o church_n in_o the_o apostle_n day_n have_v no_o holy_a day_n beside_o the_o lord_n day_n and_o the_o 4._o commandment_n enjoin_v the_o labour_n of_o six_o day_n indeed_o the_o church_n of_o england_n observe_v holy_a day_n but_o the_o popish_a superstition_n be_v cut_v off_o for_o we_o be_v not_o bind_v in_o conscience_n to_o the_o observation_n of_o these_o day_n neither_o do_v we_o place_v holiness_n or_o the_o worship_n of_o god_n in_o they_o but_o we_o keep_v they_o only_o for_o order_n sake_n that_o man_n may_v come_v to_o the_o church_n to_o hear_v god_n word_n and_o though_o we_o retain_v the_o name_n of_o saint_n day_n yet_o we_o give_v no_o worship_n to_o saint_n but_o to_o god_n alone_o and_o such_o day_n as_o contain_v nothing_o in_o they_o but_o superstition_n as_o the_o conception_n and_o assumption_n of_o the_o virgin_n marie_n we_o have_v cut_v off_o thus_o do_v the_o church_n with_o we_o observe_v holy_a day_n and_o no_o otherwise_o indeed_o the_o ignorant_a multitude_n the_o star_n the_o like_a i_o say_v of_o the_o critical_a day_n that_o be_v the_o 7._o and_o the_o 14._o day_n after_o that_o a_o man_n begin_v to_o be_v sick_a for_o they_o be_v ground_v upon_o the_o aspect_n of_o the_o moon_n which_o be_v not_o to_o be_v regard_v and_o the_o climacterical_a year_n be_v not_o to_o be_v observe_v as_o dangerous_a and_o dismal_a the_o observation_n of_o the_o sign_n star_n to_o be_v malignant_a and_o infortunate_a in_o respect_n of_o we_o whereas_o they_o be_v the_o creature_n of_o god_n and_o their_o light_n serve_v for_o the_o good_a of_o man_n in_o a_o word_n we_o be_v not_o to_o make_v difference_n of_o day_n neither_o in_o respect_n of_o holiness_n nor_o in_o respect_n of_o good_a or_o bad_a success_n v._o 11._o i_o be_o afraid_a etc._n

say_v of_o himself_o rom._n 7._o 18._o that_o there_o be_v nothing_o but_o vanity_n in_o our_o mind_n rebellion_n in_o our_o will_n a_o confuse_a ataxy_n in_o all_o our_o affection_n transgression_n in_o our_o life_n the_o view_n of_o our_o heart_n and_o life_n in_o the_o law_n and_o the_o consider_v of_o our_o wretched_a estate_n in_o that_o we_o be_v under_o the_o fearful_a curse_n which_o be_v a_o thunderbolt_n annex_v to_o every_o breach_n thereof_o will_v drive_v we_o out_o of_o all_o conceit_n of_o ourselves_o from_o our_o selfelove_n and_o selfe-liking_a nay_o it_o will_v make_v we_o go_v out_o of_o ourselves_o not_o only_o to_o deny_v ourselves_o as_o christ_n command_n but_o even_o to_o abhor_v ourselves_o repent_v in_o dust_n and_o ash_n as_o job_n do_v chap._n 42._o 6._o cause_v we_o to_o become_v flat_a nothing_o in_o ourselves_o that_o we_o may_v be_v something_o in_o christ_n as_o paul_n say_v 1._o cor._n 3._o 18._o let_v no_o man_n deceive_v himself_o if_o any_o man_n among_o you_o seem_v to_o be_v wise_a in_o this_o world_n let_v he_o be_v a_o fool_n that_o he_o may_v be_v wise_a second_o when_o we_o feel_v ourselves_o to_o be_v tickle_v with_o the_o itch_a proud_a of_o another_o man_n garment_n or_o for_o a_o woman_n to_o boast_v of_o her_o borrow_a hair_n the_o wicked_a persecutor_n of_o the_o church_n be_v reprove_v for_o sacrifice_v to_o their_o net_n and_o burn_a incense_n to_o their_o yarn_n hab._n 1._o 16._o further_o we_o must_v consider_v we_o have_v not_o only_o receive_v they_o but_o that_o we_o have_v so_o receive_v they_o as_o that_o
