be_v enemy_n to_o god_n to_o his_o word_n to_o all_o righteousness_n worldling_n oppressor_n deceiver_n swearer_n cursor_n otherwise_o abominable_a yet_o still_o find_v and_o whole_a man_n in_o their_o own_o conceit_n and_o another_o cause_n of_o conceit_a sin_n soundness_n be_v the_o extenuaation_n of_o sin_n some_o qualm_n and_o grudge_n they_o have_v and_o all_o man_n be_v sinner_n and_o and_o deadly_a second_o as_o they_o need_v not_o the_o physician_n so_o certain_o the_o physician_n need_v not_o they_o he_o come_v not_o for_o they_o they_o have_v as_o much_o help_n from_o he_o as_o they_o seek_v he_o come_v not_o to_o call_v the_o righteous_a he_o call_v and_o cure_v only_o the_o sick_a and_o heavy_a lade_v with_o the_o sense_n and_o burden_n of_o sin_n let_v this_o therefore_o not_o and_o so_o send_v it_o not_o into_o all_o part_n of_o thy_o life_n thou_o be_v sick_a iudeed_o though_o thou_o secmost_o never_o so_o whole_a second_o when_o the_o body_n 2_o consume_v the_o part_n be_v weaken_v the_o knee_n bow_v under_o a_o man_n and_o with_o much_o ado_n he_o drag_v his_o limb_n after_o he_o there_o be_v certain_o a_o bodily_a disease_n though_o there_o be_v no_o complaint_n so_o in_o the_o soul_n when_o man_n be_v weak_a to_o deed_n of_o piety_n have_v no_o strength_n to_o conquer_v temptation_n to_o suffer_v cross_n and_o trial_n to_o work_n of_o charity_n mercy_n or_o justice_n but_o all_o strength_n of_o grace_n seem_v to_o be_v exhaust_v here_o be_v a_o dangerous_a disease_n here_o may_v we_o just_o fear_v a_o spiritual_a hectic_a which_o be_v no_o soon_o discernible_a then_o deadly_a three_o when_o the_o sense_n 3_o fail_v the_o eye_n grow_v dim_a the_o ear_n dull_a it_o be_v a_o apparent_a sign_n of_o a_o bodily_a or_o spiritual_a disease_n a_o senseless_a man_n be_v the_o sick_a man_n because_o he_o be_v sick_a though_o he_o be_v not_o sensible_a even_o so_o when_o the_o eyestring_n of_o the_o soul_n be_v break_v that_o they_o see_v not_o the_o light_n of_o grace_n nor_o of_o god_n which_o as_o the_o sun_n shine_v round_o about_o they_o the_o ear_n hear_v not_o the_o voice_n of_o god_n the_o feeling_n be_v go_v they_o have_v no_o a_o paint_a sepulchre_n not_o a_o man_n of_o a_o better_a world_n will_v man_n try_v themselves_o by_o these_o note_n they_o will_v soon_o discorne_o their_o sickness_n and_o run_v out_o to_o the_o physician_n but_o oh_o what_o a_o hard_a task_n be_v it_o to_o bring_v a_o man_n right_o to_o know_v his_o estate_n a_o singer_n of_o the_o body_n can_v ache_v but_o man_n complain_v and_o bind_v it_o up_o but_o the_o soul_n lie_v gasp_v and_o there_o be_v no_o such_o care_n etc._n etc._n thus_o negative_o of_o the_o patient_n or_o party_n fit_a for_o cure_v affirmative_o it_o be_v the_o sick_a sick_a man_n and_o he_o be_v the_o sick_a man_n that_o feel_v and_o groan_v under_o the_o pain_n and_o burden_n of_o his_o sin_n the_o point_n this_o sin_n be_v the_o most_o dangerous_a sâ—ickenesse_n in_o the_o whole_a world_n 1._o and_o fit_o resemble_v bodily_a sickness_n for_o first_o sickness_n come_v by_o intemperance_n the_o temperate_a body_n be_v never_o sick_a while_o we_o be_v in_o innocency_n we_o be_v in_o sound_a health_n but_o through_o distemperature_n in_o our_o nature_n we_o be_v 2._o poison_v at_o first_o and_o ever_o since_o our_o sin_n and_o lust_n conceive_v bring_v forth_o sin_n and_o death_n and_o as_o some_o sickness_n be_v hereditary_a and_o propagate_v so_o the_o sickness_n of_o sin_n be_v propagate_v from_o adam_n to_o all_o his_o posterity_n and_o every_o man_n have_v add_v to_o his_o disease_n by_o his_o own_o wilful_a transgression_n second_o sickness_n weaken_v the_o body_n and_o impair_v the_o vigour_n 2_o of_o nature_n so_o do_v sin_n in_o the_o soul_n experience_n show_v that_o after_o some_o sin_n we_o very_o hardly_o and_o weak_o attempt_v any_o good_a thing_n for_o along_o time_n sin_n have_v weaken_v the_o faculty_n darken_v the_o soul_n first_o or_o last_o there_o be_v no_o peace_n to_o â—1_n a_o wicked_a man_n but_o terror_n soul_n horror_n of_o conscience_n and_o desperate_a fear_n do_v ever_o attend_v he_o four_o sickness_n continue_v and_o linger_a on_o the_o body_n 4._o threaten_v death_n and_o without_o timely_a cure_n bring_v it_o sin_n also_o not_o remove_v by_o repentance_n menace_v and_o bring_v certain_a death_n to_o body_n and_o soul_n five_o sickness_n be_v general_o 5_o incident_a to_o all_o man_n so_o the_o soul_n of_o all_o man_n be_v disease_v by_o nature_n even_o the_o soul_n of_o the_o elect_n till_o
