vnnethe I myght speke and I sayde Allas what is thys that I heere But I pray the telle me what difference is there be twyxe the paynes of helle and of purgatore he saide there is no difference in gretnesse of paynes but in o wise ther may be difference for the paines of helle abydeth no ende but monyng at the day of dome whan the bodyes shal be tormented with the sowles and the paine of purgatoire hathe an ende for after they haue doo her penaunce there they shal be take vn to endlenes Ioye I asked be they that are in purgatoure tourmented alle I lich or ellis diuersly he sayd dyuersly somme more greuously and sōme more eisely After the quantite of the synnes for in heuen alle blessid sawles be holde the face of god wherein is all blysse and thoughe eche of theym haue
