grace_n in_o we_o do_v not_o hinder_v i_o say_v that_o the_o want_n of_o the_o sense_n and_o feeling_n either_o of_o god_n favour_n to_o the_o soul_n or_o of_o the_o work_n of_o grace_n in_o the_o soul_n do_v not_o hinder_v a_o man_n the_o ground_n of_o it_o be_v this_o if_o he_o that_o have_v great_a interest_n in_o god_n love_n may_v yet_o notwithstanding_o not_o be_v assure_v of_o it_o in_o his_o own_o sense_n if_o he_o that_o have_v a_o great_a work_n of_o grace_n may_v yet_o not_o be_v able_a to_o apprehend_v that_o work_n that_o god_n give_v nay_o if_o a_o man_n that_o walk_v exact_o before_o god_n can_v see_v the_o power_n of_o grace_n that_o help_v he_o so_o to_o do_v it_o be_v certain_a this_o can_v hinder_v he_o from_o the_o right_n of_o come_v to_o the_o sacrament_n but_o the_o former_a may_v be_v ergo_fw-la etc._n etc._n the_o rule_n be_v undeniable_a rule_n 2._o this_o be_v no_o hindrance_n from_o come_v to_o the_o sacrament_n that_o a_o man_n find_v a_o deadish_a heart_n within_o he_o in_o the_o performance_n of_o service_n that_o a_o man_n find_v a_o body_n of_o death_n oppress_v of_o he_o and_o lie_v upon_o he_o when_o he_o come_v to_o this_o duty_n and_o and_o also_o walk_v most_o humble_o before_o god_n and_o labour_n to_o depend_v upon_o and_o seek_v much_o more_o for_o his_o mercy_n and_o to_o strive_v most_o sincere_o against_o its_o corruption_n all_o which_o argue_v that_o a_o man_n be_v deep_o interest_v in_o god_n love_n and_o have_v a_o interest_n in_o a_o great_a measure_n to_o the_o lord_n christ_n and_o his_o covenant_n and_o so_o consequent_o to_o the_o sacrament_n i_o dare_v say_v this_o that_o the_o worst_a service_n of_o a_o christian_a man_n to_o his_o own_o sense_n and_o apprehension_n find_v most_o acceptance_n with_o god_n the_o poor_a duty_n for_o the_o performance_n outward_o be_v sometime_o most_o perfect_a why_o because_o then_o the_o heart_n be_v most_o abase_v in_o itself_o and_o then_o it_o see_v most_o need_n of_o christ_n and_o then_o also_o do_v it_o crave_v succour_n and_o relief_n from_o christ_n therein_o in_o a_o word_n as_o inlargement_n of_o heart_n and_o great_a freedom_n and_o forwardness_n and_o sufficiency_n many_o time_n unto_o duty_n be_v accompany_v often_o with_o most_o falseness_n at_o least_o wise_a with_o most_o pride_n and_o haughtiness_n of_o heart_n so_o deadness_n weariness_n untowardness_n inability_n be_v many_o time_n accompany_v with_o most_o humility_n with_o most_o brokennesse_n with_o most_o baseness_n with_o most_o go_v out_o of_o himself_o unto_o christ_n and_o with_o most_o sincerity_n in_o approve_v the_o heart_n unto_o christ_n rule_v 3_o the_o three_o rule_n be_v this_o former_a unpreparednesse_n unto_o god_n service_n and_o haply_o sometime_o to_o a_o man_n own_o sense_n unprofitablenesse_n under_o the_o sacrament_n in_o the_o receive_n thereof_o be_v not_o shall_v not_o be_v any_o sufficient_a hindrance_n to_o any_o faithful_a hinder_v he_o from_o come_v to_o the_o sacrament_n of_o the_o body_n &_o blood_n of_o christ_n beside_o shall_v unprofitablenesse_n and_o unpreparednesse_n before_o hinder_v because_o it_o be_v a_o sin_n that_o shall_v rather_o make_v we_o take_v heed_n that_o we_o do_v not_o commit_v a_o sin_n in_o not_o come_v to_o the_o sacrament_n when_o we_o shall_v for_o if_o unpreparednesse_n and_o unprofitableness_n hinder_v because_o it_o be_v a_o sin_n than_o not_o come_v when_o we_o shall_v come_v hinder_v because_o it_o argue_v a_o sinner_n quest_n how_o shall_v i_o know_v whether_o i_o have_v the_o work_n of_o grace_n and_o so_o consequent_o title_n to_o or_o interest_n in_o the_o sacrament_n answ_n the_o first_o evidence_n be_v take_v out_o of_o 1_o joh._n 5.18_o he_o that_o be_v say_v will_v you_o have_v a_o man_n so_o perfect_a or_o shall_v his_o grace_n be_v so_o pure_a and_o holy_a that_o corruption_n shall_v not_o be_v in_o he_o nor_o lodge_v in_o his_o soul_n ans_fw-fr thereof_o yet_o it_o will_v stand_v in_o the_o defence_n of_o jesus_n christ_n and_o will_v not_o plead_v for_o a_o base_a corruption_n he_o will_v not_o say_v oh_o it_o be_v my_o infirmity_n it_o be_v my_o nature_n alas_o i_o can_v amend_v it_o etc._n etc._n but_o a_o gracious_a heart_n will_v come_v to_o this_o he_o see_v his_o sin_n and_o observe_v his_o distemper_n and_o corruption_n and_o the_o heart_n say_v the_o law_n be_v holy_a and_o good_a the_o reproof_n be_v good_a the_o admonition_n be_v good_a the_o duty_n good_a yea_o the_o soul_n will_v free_o say_v i_o have_v the_o vile_a
