ordinary_a feast_n throughout_o even_o in_o those_o thing_n wherein_o it_o seem_v to_o be_v like_o they_o as_o to_o the_o several_a name_n and_o phrase_n by_o which_o the_o nature_n of_o it_o be_v describe_v they_o be_v figurative_a and_o borrow_v from_o civil_a entertainment_n but_o although_o it_o have_v receive_v the_o same_o name_n and_o be_v represent_v by_o phrase_n that_o proper_o suit_n to_o ordinary_a feast_n yet_o the_o lord_n supper_n differ_v in_o its_o nature_n from_o civil_a banquet_n as_o much_o as_o heaven_n and_o earth_n body_n and_o spirit_n differ_v in_o they_o as_o to_o the_o bread_n and_o wine_n which_o we_o see_v and_o taste_v they_o be_v only_a sign_n and_o type_n of_o the_o true_a spiritual_a feast_n and_o serve_v to_o raise_v our_o mind_n to_o and_o whet_v the_o appetite_n of_o our_o soul_n after_o celestial_a and_o heavenly_a enjoyment_n thus_o much_o may_v suffice_v to_o inform_v we_o what_o the_o nature_n of_o the_o sacrament_n of_o the_o lord_n supper_n be_v consider_v bare_o as_o a_o feast_n 2._o for_o a_o further_a discovery_n of_o its_o nature_n we_o be_v to_o be_v mind_v that_o it_o be_v a_o feast_n upon_o a_o sacrifice_n for_o sin_n wherein_o speak_v good_a of_o his_o name_n and_o thus_o partake_v of_o the_o lord_n supper_n be_v a_o proper_a act_n of_o christian_a worship_n perform_v to_o our_o saviour_n it_o be_v the_o worship_n of_o god_n manifest_v in_o our_o flesh_n and_o of_o our_o crucify_a lord_n who_o submit_v himself_o to_o a_o vile_a and_o torment_a death_n for_o the_o sake_n of_o we_o vile_a and_o miserable_a sinner_n that_o be_v as_o agreeable_a to_o the_o nature_n of_o a_o feast_n as_o the_o table-gesture_n be_v so_o they_o observe_v several_a modes_n and_o circumstance_n which_o be_v not_o agreeable_a to_o the_o nature_n of_o a_o feast_n as_o the_o custom_n of_o our_o country_n stand_v for_o instance_n at_o our_o common_a and_o ordinary_a feast_n it_o be_v very_o suitable_a and_o agreeable_a to_o laugh_v to_o talk_v and_o discourse_v together_o to_o congratulate_v one_o another_o welfare_n to_o inquire_v of_o the_o state_n of_o absent_a friend_n and_o acquaintance_n to_o sit_v with_o the_o head_n cover_v to_o eat_v plentiful_o and_o drink_v frequent_o to_o carve_v and_o drink_v to_o one_o another_o it_o be_v further_a necessary_a and_o convenient_a that_o at_o such_o feast_n the_o guest_n shall_v be_v well_o attend_v with_o servant_n and_o waiter_n who_o be_v not_o allow_v to_o sit_v down_o at_o the_o table_n with_o â—hose_n who_o be_v invite_v it_o be_v agreeable_a that_o the_o guest_n shall_v if_o they_o please_v help_v themselves_o and_o their_o friend_n where_o they_o like_v and_o yet_o these_o and_o many_o other_o thing_n of_o this_o nature_n though_o very_o suitable_a to_o and_o common_o practise_v at_o our_o ordinary_a feast_n be_v not_o allow_v of_o nor_o practise_v by_o nor_o urge_v as_o necessary_a to_o be_v observe_v at_o the_o sacrament_n by_o our_o dissent_v brethren_n but_o why_o they_o shall_v plead_v for_o and_o urge_v the_o necessity_n of_o a_o common_a table-gesture_n
