XCVI O Sing unto the Lord a new song sing unto the Lord all the earth 2 Sing unto the Lord blesse his Name shew forth his salvation from day to day O Sing a new song to the Lord to God sing all the earth 2 To God sing blesse his Name his health from day to day shew forth 3 Declare his glory among the heathen his wonders among all people 3 Among the heathen nations ye declare his glory ●…all His wonders likewise that he doth among the people all 4 For the Lord is great and greatly to be praised he is to be feared above all gods 4 For he that is the Lord is great and greatly he for this Is to be praisd above all gods he to be feared is 5 For all the gods of the nations are idols but the Lord made the heavens 5 For all the gods of nations they do but idols prove But by his mighty hand the Lord hath made the Heav'ns above 6 Honour and majesty are before him strength and beauty are in his sanctuary 6 Before him there is honour great and also majesty And strength and likewise beauty rare are in his Sanctuary 7 Give unto the Lord O ye kindreds of the people give unto the Lord glory and strength 7 O kindreds of the people yee unto the Lord afford Both glory and al 's strength do ye now give unto the Lord. 8 Give unto the Lord the glory due unto his Name bring an offering and come into his court●… 8 Unto the Lord the glory give which to his Name is due Come ye into his Courts and do an offring bring with you 9 O worship the Lord in the beauty of holinesse fear before him all the earth 9 In beauty of his holinesse O do the Lord adore Let all indwellers of the earth fear likewise him before 10 Say among the heathen that the Lord reigneth the world also shall be established that it shall not be moved he shall judge the people righteously 10 Among the heathen say God reignes the world not mov'd to be Shall be establi●…'d ●…ighteously the people judge ●…hall he 11 Let the heavens rejoice and let the earth be glad let the sea roar and the fulnesse thereof 11 O let the heavens all rejoice and let the earth be glade And with its fulnesse al 's the sea let it to roar be made 12 Let the field be joyfull and all that is therein then shall all the trees of the wood rejoice 12 And let the field now joy full be and all that is therein Then shall the trees of all the wood for to rejoice begin 13 Before the Lord for he cometh for he cometh to judge the earth he shall judge the world with righteousnesse and the people with his truth 13 Before the Lord because he comes he comes to judge the earth He 'le judge the world with righteousnes and people with his truth PSAL. XCVII THe Lord reigneth let the earth rejoice let the multitude of Isles be glad thereof THe Lord doth reign let all the earth for to rejoice be made And let the multitude of Isles thereof be very glade 2 Clouds and darknesse are rounnd about him righteousnesse and judgement are the habitation of his throne 2 Clouds darknesse are him round about and righteousnes that 's his With judgement of his glorious throne the habitation is 3 A fire goeth before him and burneth up his enemies round about 4 His lightnings enlightned the world the earth saw and trembled 3 Fire goes before him and it round his foes to burn doth make 4 His lightnings the world enlight'ned the earth did see and shake 5 The hils melted like wax at the presence of the Lord at the presence of the Lord of the whole earth 5 The hils in presence of the Lord like wax they melted forth Ev'n at the presence of the Lord who ruleth all the earth 6 The heavens declare his righteousnesse and all the people see his glory 6 The heavens they his righteousnesse most clearly do declare And all the people al 's do see his glory every where 7 Confounded be all they that serve graven images that boast themselves of idols worship him all ye gods 7 All that serve graven images let them confounded be That do themselves of idols boast all gods him worship yee 8 Sion heard and was glad and the daughters of Iudah rejoyced because of thy judgements O Lord. 8 Then Sion heard and al 's was glad of Judah with accord The daughters did rejoice because of those thy judgements Lord. 9 For thou O Lord art high above all the earth thou art exalted far above all gods 9 For thou O Lord art high above all things on earth that are Likewise above all other gods thou art exalted far 10 Ye that love the Lord hate evill he preserveth the souls of his saints he delivereth them out of the hand of the wicked 10 Hate evill ye that love the Lord souls of his saints that be He doth preserve from wickeds hands them all delivereth he 11 Light is sown for the righteous and gladnesse for the upright in heart 11 For them that righteous are indeed is sowne a joyfull light And gladenesse also for all those that are in heart upright 12 Rejoyce in the Lord ye righteous and give thanks at the remembrance of his holinesse 12 Do ye rejoice now in the Lord ye men of righteousnesse And thanks at the remembrance give of his own holinesse PSAL. CXIII PRaise ye the Lord. Praise O ye servants of the Lord praise the Name of the Lord. 2 Blessed be the Name of the Lord from this time forth and for evermore PRaise God O ye Gods servants praise the Name of God praise ye 2 From this time forth the Name of God for ever blessed be 3 From the rising of the sun unto the going down of the same the Lords Name is to be praised 3 Ev'n from the rising of the sun unto his going down The Name of him that is the Lord must praisd be with renown 4 The Lord is high above all nations and his glory above the heavens 4 The Lord above all Nations exalted high doth prove The glory that to him belongs the heavens is above 5 Who is like unto the Lord our God who dwelleth on high 6 Who humbleth himself to behold the things that are in heaven and in the earth 5 To God our Lord that dwels on high O who is like in worth 6 Himself that humbleth to behold things in the heav'n and earth 7 He raiseth up the poor out of the dust and lifteth the needy out of the dunghill 8 That he may set him with Princes even with the Princes of his people 7 From dust he doth the poor raise up from dunghill needy lift 8 That he with Princes princes of his people may him set 9 He maketh the barren woman to keep house to be a joyfull mother of children Praise ye the Lord. 9 The barren woman to keep house he maketh and to be A mother of her children glade praise to the Lord give yee PSAL. CXIV WHen Israel went out of Egypt the house of Iacob from a people of strange language WHen those that were of Israel went out of Egypt there And Jacobs house a people from that of strange language were 2 Iudah was his sanctuary and Israel his dominion 3 The sea saw it and fled Iordan was driven back 2 His Sanctuary Judah was his Kingdome was Isra'l 3 The sea it saw and it did flee driv'n back was Jordan all 4 The mountains skipped like rams and the little hils like lambs 5 What ailed thee O thou sea that thou fleddest thou Iordan that thou wast driven back 4 Like rams the mountains little hills like lambs did skipping make 5 Why fledst thou sea thou Jordan al 's that thou wast driven back 6 Ye mountains that ye skipped like rams and ye little hils like lambs 6 And likewise ye the mountains high that ye did skip like rams And ye the hills that little are like to the younger lambs 7 Tremble thou earth at the presence of the Lord at the presence of the God of Iacob 7 Now at the presence of the Lord earth tremble thou for fear Yea at the presence of the God of Jacob to him dear 8 Which turned the rock into a standing water the flint into a fountain of waters 8 Which into waters turn'd the rock there standing like a lake And in the flint a fountain fair of waters then did make PSAL. CXV NOt unto us O Lord not unto us but unto thy Name give glory for thy mercy and for thy truths sake NOt to us Lord not unto us but do thou glory take Unto thy Name both for thy truth and for thy mercies sake 2 Wherefore should the heathen say Where is now their God 3 But our God is in the heavens he hath done whatsoever he pleased 2 Wherefore should thus the heathen say where is their God now gone But in the heavens is our God he what he pleas'd hath done 4 Their idols are silver and gold the work of mens hands 5 They have mouths but they speak not eyes have they but they see not 4 Their idols silver are and gold
