bless_v be_v the_o world_n be_v despise_v that_o shall_v have_v this_o heaven_n happiness_n yea_o happy_a be_v this_o wretched_a world_n unhappy_a man_n for_o he_o shall_v be_v happy_a i_o will_v daily_o meditate_v of_o the_o greatness_n and_o majesty_n of_o this_o high_a heaven_n bless_a estate_n where_o i_o shall_v one_o day_n bless_v my_o god_n with_o the_o company_n of_o his_o saint_n and_o where_o i_o shall_v one_o day_n sit_v secure_a and_o free_a from_o the_o danger_n
peril_n cross_n and_o affliction_n that_o now_o do_v assatle_v i_o on_o the_o right_a hand_n and_o on_o the_o left_a within_o i_o and_o without_o i_o and_o be_o never_o free_a from_o one_o calamity_n or_o other_o but_o it_o be_v good_a for_o i_o to_o be_v here_o humble_v that_o i_o may_v be_v there_o advance_v where_o i_o wish_v speedy_o to_o come_v it_o be_v good_a that_o i_o be_v in_o want_n here_o that_o i_o may_v seek_v heavenly_a necessary_n it_o be_v good_a that_o the_o world_n do_v discourage_v i_o that_o i_o may_v fly_v to_o god_n that_o comfort_v i_o it_o be_v good_a that_o i_o be_o daily_o kill_v here_o that_o i_o may_v live_v continual_o there_o now_o therefore_o o_o my_o soul_n stand_v up_o fear_v not_o faint_v not_o at_o this_o world_n cross_n but_o give_v glory_n to_o this_o great_a god_n praise_v this_o high_a and_o help_a god_n seek_v he_o while_o it_o be_v to_o day_n drive_v not_o off_o to_o pray_v to_o this_o god_n notwithstanding_o any_o hope_n thou_o have_v in_o mortal_a man_n nor_o reject_v not_o his_o gracious_a mean_n who_o in_o favour_n infinite_a and_o mercy_n endless_a move_v the_o heart_n of_o man_n in_o this_o life_n to_o do_v good_a unto_o such_o as_o he_o see_v distress_v he_o can_v find_v out_o and_o afford_v infinite_a mean_n to_o succour_v they_o that_o be_v he_o and_o will_v not_o leave_v they_o forsake_v in_o danger_n for_o he_o even_o here_o give_v i_o his_o blessing_n as_o pledge_n of_o his_o never-failing_a lout_n that_o be_v visit_v in_o his_o mercy_n with_o timely_a comfort_n here_o i_o may_v assure_v i_o of_o great_a blessing_n in_o heaven_n where_o they_o be_v prepare_v beyond_o all_o that_o i_o can_v ask_v or_o think_v o_o lord_n god_n of_o host_n who_o be_v like_a unto_o thou_o who_o have_v establish_v thy_o kingdom_n with_o truth_n and_o equity_n with_o mercy_n and_o judgement_n thou_o have_v a_o mighty_a arm_n strong_a be_v thy_o hand_n and_o high_a be_v thy_o right_a hand_n who_o so_o be_v under_o thy_o protection_n he_o be_v safe_a and_o he_o that_o trust_v in_o thou_o mercy_n embrace_v he_o on_o every_o side_n oh_o bless_a art_n thou_o o_o my_o soul_n if_o thou_o can_v rejoice_v in_o the_o lord_n he_o be_v thy_o father_n he_o be_v thy_o helper_n walk_v therefore_o in_o the_o light_n of_o his_o countenance_n and_o be_v patient_a wait_v in_o hope_n till_o these_o storm_n be_v past_a and_o of_o god_n col._n 3._o 1._o set_v your_o affection_n on_o thing_n which_o be_v above_o and_o not_o on_o thing_n which_o be_v on_o the_o earth_n vers._n 2._o a_o consideration_n of_o the_o dangerous_a estate_n of_o the_o impenitent_a wicked_a one_o after_o this_o life_n notwithstanding_o their_o wealth_n and_o power_n and_o great_a glory_n which_o they_o have_v here_o where_o they_o seem_v to_o triumph_v over_o poor_a distressed_a man_n read_v and_o consider_v you_o rich_a and_o poor_a it_o be_v a_o strange_a temptation_n unto_o a_o man_n when_o he_o find_v himself_o still_o afflict_v notwithstanding_o he_o seek_v help_v continual_o at_o the_o hand_n of_o god_n and_o the_o more_o when_o he_o see_v that_o such_o as_o neither_o serve_v god_n or_o fear_n god_n such_o as_o be_v wanton_a and_o wicked_a and_o harden_v in_o sin_n to_o prosper_v and_o to_o flourish_v in_o this_o life_n and_o to_o have_v all_o thing_n that_o their_o heart_n can_v desire_v david_n behold_v this_o begin_v a_o little_a to_o stagger_v and_o be_v ready_a to_o give_v over_o his_o godly_a beginning_n and_o to_o end_v with_o the_o wicked_a and_o as_o long_o as_o he_o take_v no_o better_a regard_n but_o only_o as_o natural_a wisdom_n lead_v he_o he_o commend_v their_o estate_n because_o they_o be_v rich_a and_o want_v nothing_o they_o be_v healthful_a and_o lusty_a and_o their_o good_n do_v increase_v which_o worldling_n hold_v true_a happiness_n but_o when_o david_n consider_v their_o greatness_n as_o it_o be_v discover_v unto_o he_o by_o the_o light_n of_o true_a knowledge_n he_o then_o alter_v his_o conceit_n of_o these_o man_n and_o renounce_v their_o way_n and_o hate_v their_o work_n and_o avoid_v their_o company_n and_o betake_v himself_o to_o prayer_n as_o the_o thing_n whereby_o he_o shall_v prevail_v better_o then_o with_o all_o the_o wealth_n the_o world_n can_v yield_v he_o and_o sure_o the_o present_a time_n afford_v unto_o we_o that_o now_o live_v no_o less_o cause_n of_o vigilant_a regard_n that_o we_o be_v not_o carry_v away_o with_o the_o world_n who_o glory_n be_v embrace_v who_o power_n be_v practise_v who_o policy_n be_v prefer_v and_o who_o happiness_n be_v have_v in_o great_a esteem_n insomuch_o as_o who_o so_o be_v poor_a or_o helpless_a or_o distress_a or_o endanger_v in_o the_o world_n by_o worldling_n be_v censure_v a_o castaway_n a_o reprobate_a a_o man_n forsake_v of_o god_n it_o be_v not_o virtue_n nor_o godly_a life_n nor_o inward_a zeal_n nor_o any_o good_a quality_n of_o the_o spirit_n that_o have_v any_o favour_n in_o the_o world_n but_o the_o rich_a and_o glorious_a and_o man_n of_o countenance_n and_o of_o power_n and_o of_o office_n and_o of_o gay_a attire_n that_o be_v account_v god_n favourite_n as_o for_o such_o as_o be_v ragged_a they_o be_v not_o regard_v such_o as_o be_v base_a in_o show_n be_v account_v base_a in_o deed_n so_o that_o god_n child_n have_v the_o least_o share_n of_o the_o world_n liberality_n and_o the_o impudent_a and_o shameless_a and_o wicked_a and_o worst_a man_n be_v they_o that_o possess_v and_o usurp_v the_o earth_n and_o earthly_a glory_n but_o alas_o short_a and_o slippery_a be_v this_o glorious_a show_n of_o they_o they_o be_v as_o cedar_n that_o overshaddow_n the_o low_a bush_n for_o a_o while_n but_o they_o shall_v be_v as_o stubble_n in_o the_o furnace_n when_o the_o â—re_n be_v put_v to_o their_o root_n they_o be_v now_o as_o devour_v she_o bear_v and_o as_o rage_a lion_n but_o the_o time_n come_v wherein_o the_o lord_n will_v smite_v they_o upon_o their_o jaw-bone_n and_o will_v pull_v out_o the_o tooth_n of_o these_o merciless_a wretch_n they_o have_v set_v themselves_o in_o glory_n but_o god_n shall_v turn_v it_o to_o shame_n they_o have_v fasten_v their_o foot_n as_o they_o think_v never_o to_o be_v move_v but_o the_o lord_n will_v make_v their_o stand_a unsure_a and_o their_o way_n slippery_a and_o their_o day_n short_a and_o their_o end_n horrible_a and_o howsoever_o they_o now_o make_v boast_n of_o their_o own_o heart_n wickedness_n and_o though_o they_o seem_v to_o contend_v with_o god_n and_o subdue_v his_o member_n and_o make_v no_o reckon_n of_o his_o saint_n or_o think_v there_o be_v no_o god_n god_n will_v find_v they_o out_o and_o he_o will_v rebuke_v they_o with_o a_o perpetual_a rebuke_n and_o put_v out_o their_o name_n for_o ever_o not_o only_o out_o of_o the_o earth_n which_o they_o hold_v their_o heaven_n but_o even_o out_o of_o heaven_n and_o his_o book_n of_o life_n who_o yet_o be_v commend_v and_o esteem_v and_o advance_v and_o reverence_v but_o these_o man_n of_o least_o merit_n only_o their_o riches_n and_o their_o bribe_n and_o their_o flattery_n win_v they_o dignity_n and_o preferment_n and_o honour_n and_o favour_n and_o what_o may_v fill_v they_o full_a of_o all_o token_n of_o perdition_n but_o this_o be_v a_o heavy_a weight_n of_o temptation_n to_o the_o poor_a that_o deserve_v to_o be_v make_v rich_a for_o virtue_n for_o the_o low_a that_o aught_o to_o be_v raise_v for_o praiseworthy_a quality_n when_o they_o see_v that_o the_o worst_a be_v prefer_v for_o reward_n and_o the_o best_a reject_v for_o want_n sure_o this_o world_n may_v be_v compare_v to_o the_o pool_n of_o bethesda_n into_o which_o what_o disease_a person_n step_v first_o be_v heal_v but_o the_o strong_a and_o best_a lim_a and_o he_o that_o have_v best_a help_n have_v always_o the_o benefit_n of_o the_o heal_n so_o now_o in_o this_o puddle_n of_o worldly_a partiality_n not_o the_o first_o that_o come_v be_v prefer_v nor_o the_o most_o fit_a but_o the_o most_o liberal_a giver_n but_o there_o be_v a_o judge_n that_o sit_v and_o see_v how_o the_o world_n wealthy_a one_o make_v other_o wealthy_a not_o for_o worthiness_n but_o for_o gain_v what_o strive_v and_o struggle_v and_o work_v and_o invent_v and_o swear_v and_o painstaking_a be_v there_o about_o the_o philosopher_n stone_n many_o a_o man_n
