declare_v these_o and_o many_o other_o the_o like_o high_a and_o inexplicable_a mystery_n of_o this_o wonderful_a generation_n the_o apostle_n seem_v not_o to_o express_v but_o to_o shadow_n as_o well_o as_o he_o may_v when_o he_o term_v he_o the_o brightness_n of_o his_o father_n glory_n and_o the_o express_a image_n of_o his_o person_n heb._n i_o 3._o for_o though_o these_o word_n can_v reach_v home_o to_o the_o thing_n yet_o other_o more_o apt_a and_o significant_a may_v not_o be_v find_v for_o brightness_n be_v ever_o coeval_fw-fr with_o the_o thing_n that_o be_v bright_a if_o bright_a in_o itself_o the_o brightness_n of_o the_o sun_n be_v neither_o before_o nor_o after_o but_o full_o as_o ancient_a as_o that_o sun_n that_o beget_v it_o and_o so_o beget_v it_o as_o it_o do_v not_o cease_v still_o to_o beget_v it_o for_o it_o be_v not_o produce_v once_o for_o all_o but_o be_v generate_v perpetual_o and_o generate_v not_o of_o two_o but_o of_o one_o only_a who_o can_v person_n to_o show_v as_o far_o as_o may_v be_v show_v the_o manner_n of_o his_o generation_n by_o sight_n and_o intuition_n for_o the_o image_n which_o we_o behold_v when_o we_o look_v on_o ourselves_o in_o a_o glass_n be_v of_o all_o other_o the_o most_o exact_a and_o perfect_a now_o god_n himself_o be_v his_o own_o mirror_n wherein_o behold_v and_o comprehend_v himself_o he_o produce_v the_o most_o express_a and_o absolute_a image_n of_o himself_o so_o that_o the_o divine_a intellect_n of_o the_o father_n reflect_v inward_o and_o full_o conceive_v his_o own_o perfection_n do_v at_o once_o both_o conceive_v and_o bring_v forth_o his_o own_o and_o only_a son_n the_o substantial_a and_o essential_a picture_n of_o himself_o and_o therefore_o no_o thought_n here_o of_o mother_n or_o matrimony_n nor_o imperfection_n or_o inquination_n but_o he_o be_v beget_v after_o a_o pure_a clean_a chaste_a high_a and_o sublime_a manner_n as_o the_o beam_n from_o the_o sun_n as_o the_o image_n from_o the_o glass_n as_o be_v the_o brightness_n of_o his_o father_n glory_n and_o the_o engrave_v character_n of_o his_o person_n though_o neither_o of_o these_o can_v full_o express_v it_o for_o it_o be_v wonderful_a and_o therefore_o to_o our_o ear_n can_v be_v utter_v it_o be_v singular_a and_o therefore_o have_v no_o example_n for_o how_o shall_v the_o imperfect_a creature_n every_o way_n square_a with_o the_o absolute_a perfection_n of_o the_o creator_n and_o therefore_o let_v we_o adore_v in_o soul_n and_o believe_v it_o in_o heart_n but_o lay_v our_o hand_n on_o our_o lip_n and_o
