of_o his_o grace_n and_o rescind_v his_o covenant_n which_o be_v the_o contrivance_n of_o his_o infinite_a wisdom_n and_o goodness_n found_v in_o the_o blood_n of_o his_o own_o son_n and_o confirm_v by_o his_o death_n and_o that_o every_o way_n so_o well_o secure_v the_o honour_n of_o god_n and_o the_o allegiance_n and_o comfort_n of_o the_o creature_n what_o do_v you_o think_v he_o will_v thus_o offer_v violence_n to_o himself_o his_o wisdom_n be_v holiness_n which_o he_o so_o much_o delight_n to_o honour_n or_o that_o he_o will_v contradict_v the_o great_a design_n of_o his_o son_n undertake_v which_o be_v to_o reduce_v the_o creature_n to_o his_o duty_n and_o obedience_n to_o god_n or_o that_o he_o will_v affront_v his_o own_o truth_n and_o faithfulness_n and_o impeach_v himself_o guilty_a of_o a_o lie_n what_o the_o holy_a and_o wise_a god_n do_v thus_o and_o only_o for_o this_o end_n that_o he_o may_v gratify_v sinner_n in_o their_o wilful_a neglect_n of_o he_o and_o of_o the_o duty_n they_o indispensable_o owe_v to_o he_o and_o open_v a_o door_n to_o licentiousness_n and_o all_o sort_n of_o abomination_n which_o his_o soul_n hate_v and_o all_o this_o to_o save_v the_o impenitent_a and_o unbelieving_a and_o impure_a and_o disobedient_a for_o all_o man_n be_v so_o that_o do_v not_o actual_o repent_v and_o believe_v and_o obey_v and_o make_v they_o coheir_n with_o christ_n and_o set_v they_o upon_o his_o throne_n and_o put_v crown_n of_o glory_n upon_o their_o head_n what_o those_o that_o be_v his_o enemy_n who_o he_o hate_v and_o have_v swear_v in_o his_o holiness_n that_o they_o shall_v never_o enter_v into_o his_o rest_n or_o see_v his_o face_n or_o taste_v of_o his_o joy_n but_o be_v throw_v into_o outer_a darkness_n and_o suffer_v the_o vengeance_n of_o eternal_a fire_n and_o be_v torment_v day_n and_o night_n and_o everlasting_o drink_v of_o the_o wine_n of_o his_o wrath_n pour_v out_o without_o mixture_n and_o lie_v for_o ever_o in_o a_o hell_n of_o misery_n weep_v and_o wail_v and_o blaspheme_v because_o of_o their_o plague_n and_o torment_n where_o his_o eye_n shall_v not_o pity_v nor_o spare_v nor_o have_v mercy_n on_o they_o what_o can_v any_o man_n that_o have_v not_o whole_o lose_v his_o reason_n persuade_v himself_o to_o believe_v thus_o or_o to_o hope_v for_o salvation_n in_o this_o way_n or_o if_o you_o make_v of_o scripture_n or_o if_o any_o shall_v be_v so_o forsake_v of_o their_o reason_n as_o to_o cant_v thus_o yet_o will_v any_o one_o say_v that_o jesus_n christ_n repent_v of_o sin_n or_o break_v off_o his_o sin_n by_o repentance_n and_o amends_o his_o evil_a way_n and_o do_n as_o we_o be_v command_v if_o then_o it_o be_v not_o possible_a that_o either_o god_n shall_v violate_v his_o own_o covenant_n and_o contradict_v himself_o or_o that_o jesus_n christ_n shall_v perform_v the_o condition_n of_o it_o for_o we_o it_o necessary_o follow_v that_o we_o ourselves_o be_v personal_o but_o what_o be_v there_o in_o all_o this_o more_o than_o in_o mahomet_n paradise_n or_o the_o poet_n elysium_n if_o freedom_n from_o misery_n be_v proper_o happiness_n then_o nonentities_a may_v be_v they_o desire_v and_o according_a to_o these_o false_a conception_n of_o happiness_n be_v also_o their_o notion_n of_o free_a grace_n frame_v and_o model_v to_o be_v create_v over_o again_o in_o christ_n unto_o good_a work_n and_o be_v pure_a in_o heart_n and_o holy_a in_o all_o manner_n of_o conversation_n to_o live_v the_o life_n of_o god_n and_o be_v righteous_a as_o he_o be_v righteous_a and_o be_v follower_n of_o he_o as_o dear_a child_n etc._n etc._n these_o thing_n be_v seldom_o instance_a in_o or_o take_v notice_n of_o either_o as_o any_o much_o less_o as_o the_o most_o essential_a part_n of_o our_o happiness_n or_o any_o fruit_n and_o evidence_n of_o free_a grace_n but_o when_o they_o will_v set_v forth_o this_o array_v in_o her_o rich_a robe_n of_o glory_n and_o great_a majesty_n they_o instance_n in_o god_n pardon_v sinner_n and_o blot_v out_o their_o iniquity_n and_o justify_v the_o ungodly_a and_o cast_v their_o sin_n into_o the_o bottom_n of_o the_o sea_n and_o scatter_v they_o as_o a_o thick_a cloud_n and_o redeem_v they_o from_o the_o curse_n and_o free_v they_o from_o hell_n and_o condemnation_n etc._n etc._n this_o they_o cry_v be_v grace_n and_o wonderful_a grace_n to_o sinner_n and_o so_o indeed_o it_o be_v and_o wonderful_a beyond_o what_o it_o be_v possible_a for_o any_o finite_a creature_n to_o express_v or_o comprehend_v and_o
