refuse_v not_o to_o take_v the_o most_o bitter_a potion_n and_o hard_a medicine_n and_o yet_o be_v they_o most_o grievous_a and_o most_o unpleasaunt_a to_o he_o for_o the_o time_n yet_o because_o their_o effect_n and_o their_o work_a turn_n to_o his_o health_n he_o willing_o receive_v they_o so_o must_v thou_o be_v content_v for_o thy_o soul_n health_n to_o accept_v of_o such_o bitter_a affliction_n and_o cross_n in_o this_o life_n as_o shall_v please_v my_o heavenly_a father_n to_o minister_v unto_o thou_o which_o although_o they_o be_v sharp_a and_o unsaverie_a for_o the_o time_n it_o turn_v all_o thing_n to_o good_a yea_o to_o the_o health_n both_o of_o soul_n and_o body_n thou_o have_v sup_v a_o little_a of_o the_o cup_n of_o poverty_n and_o want_n which_o be_v but_o a_o of_o my_o heavenly_a father_n through_o the_o merit_n of_o i_o his_o son_n that_o sanctifi_v and_o justifi_v thou_o and_o not_o thy_o own_o work_n in_o which_o four_o former_a commandment_n be_v direct_o set_v down_o the_o sum_n of_o thy_o duty_n appertain_v to_o god_n my_o heavenly_a father_n acceptable_a who_o to_o the_o end_n that_o thou_o shall_v witness_v thy_o obedience_n unto_o that_o unfeigned_a love_n of_o god_n which_o proceed_v of_o a_o true_a faith_n and_o sincere_a service_n of_o he_o 3.15_o for_o he_o that_o love_v my_o heavenly_a father_n &_o keep_v his_o commandment_n show_v a_o sufficient_a witness_n that_o he_o love_v the_o child_n of_o god_n and_o as_o john_n say_v we_o know_v that_o we_o be_v translate_v from_o death_n to_o life_n because_o we_o day_n prolong_v upon_o the_o earth_n and_o to_o be_v fill_v with_o all_o good_a thing_n and_o on_o the_o contrary_a the_o stubborn_a stifenecked_n and_o graceless_a child_n punish_v shall_v be_v root_v out_o and_o take_v away_o by_o untimely_a death_n from_o the_o land_n which_o my_o heavenly_a father_n have_v give_v they_o in_o which_o comaundement_n thou_o must_v understand_v thyself_o not_o only_o to_o be_v enjoin_v to_o use_v reverence_n and_o to_o give_v honour_n unto_o thy_o parent_n namely_o to_o those_o that_o be_v the_o minister_n of_o the_o bring_v thou_o into_o this_o life_n but_o unto_o all_o magistrate_n superior_n and_o minister_n who_o he_o have_v ordain_v as_o instrument_n â—_o by_o who_o to_o conveye_v such_o grace_n and_o benefit_n upon_o thou_o reverence_v as_o be_v necessary_a &_o expedient_a for_o thou_o towards_o who_o this_o commandment_n will_v thou_o so_o to_o behave_v thyself_o in_o all_o thy_o action_n as_o may_v witness_v of_o thy_o inward_a from_o the_o throat_n of_o the_o godly_a 13.4_o by_o they_o be_v the_o righteous_a defend_v and_o the_o ungodly_a punish_v and_o therefore_o must_v thou_o accept_v they_o as_o the_o minister_n of_o god_n for_o thy_o wealth_n and_o to_o become_v subject_a unto_o they_o not_o only_o for_o fear_n of_o punishment_n but_o for_o conscience_n sake_n in_o respect_n of_o the_o benefit_n thou_o receive_v by_o their_o authority_n the_o elder_n say_v my_o apostle_n be_v worthy_a of_o double_a honour_n especial_o they_o which_o labour_n in_o the_o word_n and_o doctrine_n whereby_o it_o appear_v honour_n with_o reverence_n for_o that_o they_o be_v the_o messenger_n of_o my_o heavenly_a father_n to_o invite_v thou_o to_o the_o banquet_n of_o eternal_a salvation_n seruanr_n by_o which_o commandment_n now_o thou_o may_v perceive_v that_o thou_o be_v bind_v to_o honour_v thy_o father_n and_o mother_n all_o magistrate_n and_o minister_n of_o god_n and_o to_o afford_v they_o reverence_n not_o only_o in_o outward_a conversation_n but_o in_o inward_a desire_n of_o their_o welfare_n and_o further_o thou_o must_v understande_v that_o as_o child_n by_o this_o commandment_n be_v bind_v to_o use_v all_o reverence_n to_o their_o parent_n duty_n subject_n to_o their_o prince_n and_o magistrate_n and_o all_o man_n unto_o the_o minister_n of_o the_o word_n of_o my_o heavenly_a father_n so_o belong_v there_o a_o care_n to_o be_v in_o parent_n to_o see_v their_o child_n and_o servant_n to_o be_v bring_v up_o and_o instruct_v not_o in_o wantonness_n not_o in_o careless_a proceed_n from_o pleasure_n to_o pleasure_n from_o vice_n to_o vice_n life_n but_o in_o the_o due_a knowledge_n sincere_a service_n and_o true_a worship_n of_o his_o holy_a name_n and_o the_o like_a care_n to_o rest_v in_o the_o heart_n of_o all_o magistrate_n to_o execute_v their_o duty_n just_o to_o show_v themselves_o sharp_a in_o the_o punishment_n of_o vice_n and_o subdue_a of_o the_o wicked_a member_n of_o the_o realm_n and_o to_o extol_v and_o defend_v with_o the_o sword_n of_o their_o authority_n the_o godly_a &_o virtuous_a which_o godly_a care_n also_o there_o ought_v especial_o to_o be_v in_o the_o preacher_n of_o his_o word_n not_o only_o as_o they_o have_v free_o receive_v even_o so_o free_o to_o give_v use_v their_o tallentes_fw-la to_o the_o increase_n of_o the_o knowledge_n of_o his_o word_n where_o and_o into_o what_o city_n town_n or_o place_n soever_o they_o shall_v come_v by_o the_o preach_n of_o the_o word_n only_o but_o to_o express_v and_o show_v forth_o the_o same_o likewise_o in_o life_n in_o conversation_n and_o manner_n that_o man_n see_v their_o good_a work_n may_v glorify_v my_o father_n which_o be_v in_o heaven_n dangerous_a but_o the_o negligence_n of_o parent_n in_o instruct_v their_o child_n and_o servant_n in_o my_o father_n will_n or_o rather_o their_o fond_a foolish_a and_o unparentike_a love_n which_o they_o through_o a_o blind_a affection_n bear_v unto_o their_o
