of_o satan_n here_o be_v wine_n to_o comfort_v our_o heart_n but_o god_n to_o comfort_v our_o soul_n much_o more_o here_o be_v bread_n to_o strengthen_v we_o but_o the_o bread_n of_o god_n to_o strengthen_v we_o much_o more_o the_o grace_n of_o justification_n to_o comfort_v we_o against_o sin_n already_o commit_v the_o grace_n of_o sanctification_n to_o strengthen_v we_o against_o sin_n rage_v in_o our_o mortal_a body_n so_o then_o we_o must_v consider_v with_o ourselves_o these_o thing_n we_o must_v be_v raise_v up_o and_o prepare_v ourselves_o to_o be_v quicken_v according_o that_o we_o may_v comfortable_o receive_v the_o thing_n deliver_v in_o this_o sacrament_n of_o the_o supper_n the_o thing_n also_o shadow_v in_o these_o element_n use_v 3_o another_o use_v of_o the_o point_n last_o place_n touch_v the_o person_n here_o mention_v so_o far_o as_o they_o have_v their_o interest_n in_o the_o sacrament_n of_o the_o lord_n supper_n so_o as_o the_o thing_n themselves_o that_o be_v here_o speak_v be_v intend_v in_o a_o double_a sense_n first_o absolute_o to_o the_o death_n of_o christ_n itself_o second_o respective_o to_o the_o sacrament_n of_o the_o lord_n supper_n so_o the_o person_n that_o be_v here_o speak_v of_o be_v to_o be_v consider_v answerable_o in_o both_o these_o sense_n first_o as_o they_o have_v their_o interest_n and_o part_n in_o the_o death_n of_o itself_o and_o christ_n institute_v that_o sacrament_n of_o purpose_n not_o only_o to_o remember_v the_o death_n of_o christ_n in_o the_o bread_n but_o christ_n commend_v himself_o unto_o we_o in_o the_o sacrament_n as_o his_o body_n be_v sever_v from_o his_o blood_n and_o his_o blood_n be_v out_o of_o his_o body_n so_o his_o body_n to_o be_v a_o sacrifice_n and_o his_o blood_n to_o be_v a_o sacrifice_n and_o so_o have_v appoint_v several_a sign_n answerable_a to_o each_o of_o they_o and_o this_o meet_v direct_o with_o this_o foolish_a conceit_n of_o the_o papist_n we_o receive_v the_o that_o we_o shall_v always_o be_v meditate_v and_o our_o heart_n run_v upon_o the_o death_n of_o jesus_n christ_n therefore_o god_n require_v it_o at_o our_o hand_n that_o we_o shall_v always_o remember_v it_o this_o fire_n shall_v never_o go_v out_o of_o our_o heart_n it_o must_v glow_v and_o burn_v within_o we_o night_n and_o day_n it_o be_v fit_a that_o god_n child_n shall_v have_v some_o and_o we_o know_v we_o can_v have_v no_o part_n in_o his_o death_n except_o it_o be_v remember_v of_o we_o and_o apply_v unto_o we_o in_o our_o continual_a meditation_n therefore_o let_v we_o conclude_v this_o that_o so_o many_o of_o we_o as_o profess_v religion_n if_o we_o do_v not_o apply_v the_o death_n of_o christ_n to_o ourselves_o from_o time_n to_o time_n by_o due_a meditation_n recreation_n for_o those_o that_o be_v unhonest_a there_o be_v no_o hope_n of_o any_o spiritual_a comfort_n in_o they_o but_o in_o our_o honest_a recreation_n do_v we_o prefer_v the_o death_n jesus_n christ_n before_o all_o those_o thing_n that_o we_o for_o a_o while_o do_v solace_v ourselves_o withal_o especial_o in_o the_o use_n of_o the_o mean_n of_o salvation_n in_o the_o hear_n of_o the_o a_o sleight_n meditation_n but_o let_v it_o be_v sound_o take_v to_o heart_n do_v not_o think_v upon_o it_o as_o a_o ordinary_a common_a thing_n but_o conceive_v of_o it_o as_o a_o matter_n that_o do_v concern_v we_o and_o our_o good_a most_o of_o all_o let_v we_o think_v upon_o the_o death_n of_o christ_n in_o that_o which_o he_o suffer_v and_o endure_v in_o his_o soul_n and_o body_n for_o death_n of_o christ_n let_v we_o come_v thither_o with_o heart_n desirous_a ready_a and_o willing_a to_o receive_v it_o and_o there_o we_o shall_v be_v sure_a to_o have_v it_o let_v it_o be_v our_o reach_n in_o all_o these_o duty_n to_o have_v a_o eye_n upon_o the_o death_n of_o jesus_n christ_n seek_v to_o have_v that_o sound_o fix_v and_o fasten_v upon_o we_o whatsoever_o we_o fail_v in_o in_o we_o against_o sin_n because_o it_o be_v sin_n that_o bring_v he_o to_o his_o death_n and_o let_v it_o work_v sorrow_n in_o we_o that_o he_o shall_v be_v so_o cruel_o murder_v and_o put_v to_o death_n for_o we_o and_o let_v it_o work_v rejoice_v in_o we_o that_o we_o for_o our_o part_n by_o his_o death_n be_v save_v and_o by_o his_o stripe_n be_v heal_v let_v the_o death_n of_o christ_n work_v these_o affection_n in_o we_o and_o then_o it_o shall_v be_v our_o own_o never_o to_o forget_v it_o last_o let_v we_o put_v ourselves_o to_o the_o power_n and_o the_o rule_n and_o the_o direction_n of_o it_o let_v we_o suffer_v ourselves_o to_o be_v sway_v by_o the_o death_n of_o jesus_n christ_n in_o all_o our_o course_n let_v it_o bear_v rule_n with_o we_o the_o counsel_n that_o of_o the_o trade_n as_o in_o the_o well_o manage_v of_o that_o trade_n our_o christian_a profession_n be_v a_o virtue_n and_o a_o trade_n a_o spiritual_a virtue_n and_o a_o heavenly_a trade_n
