the_o salvation_n of_o their_o soul_n 2._o in_o a_o relative_n property_n of_o it_o the_o end_n of_o their_o faith_n the_o nature_n of_o it_o be_v salvation_n and_o salvation_n of_o the_o soul_n it_o import_v full_a deliverance_n from_o all_o kind_n of_o misery_n and_o
and_o set_v with_o prince_n as_o there_o be_v joy_n from_o faith_n so_o also_o from_o love_n though_o it_o be_v in_o itself_o the_o most_o sweet_a and_o delightful_a passion_n of_o the_o soul_n yet_o as_o we_o foolish_o misplace_v it_o it_o prove_v often_o full_a of_o bitterness_n but_o be_v set_v upon_o jesus_n christ_n the_o only_a right_n and_o worthy_a object_n it_o cause_v this_o unspeakable_a delight_n and_o rejoice_v 1._o it_o be_v matter_n of_o joy_n to_o have_v bestow_v our_o love_n so_o worthy_o and_o though_o our_o saviour_n seem_v to_o withdraw_v himself_o and_o sometime_o sadden_fw-mi the_o soul_n that_o love_v he_o with_o absence_n in_o regard_n of_o sense_n yet_o even_o in_o those_o sad_a time_n the_o soul_n delight_v to_o love_v he_o and_o there_o be_v a_o pleasure_n in_o the_o very_a pain_n it_o have_v in_o seek_v after_o he_o and_o this_o it_o know_v that_o his_o mercy_n be_v everlasting_a and_o that_o he_o can_v be_v long_o unkind_a but_o will_v return_v and_o speak_v comfortable_o unto_o it_o 2._o our_o love_n to_o christ_n give_v we_o assurance_n of_o his_o to_o we_o so_o that_o we_o have_v not_o only_o choose_v worthy_o but_o shall_v not_o be_v frustrate_a and_o dissapoint_v and_o it_o assure_v we_o of_o he_o not_o as_o follow_v but_o precede_v and_o cause_v we_o for_o our_o love_n to_o jesus_n christ_n be_v no_o other_o but_o the_o far_o the_o sweet_a for_o thing_n lawful_a in_o themselves_o be_v in_o their_o excess_n sinful_a and_o so_o prove_v bitterness_n in_o the_o end_n and_o if_o in_o some_o case_n it_o require_v the_o forsake_v of_o lawful_a enjoyment_n as_o of_o pleasure_n or_o profit_n or_o honour_n for_o god_n and_o for_o his_o glory_n this_o be_v generous_a and_o true_o more_o delightful_a to_o deny_v they_o for_o this_o reason_n then_o to_o enjoy_v they_o man_n have_v do_v much_o this_o way_n for_o the_o love_n of_o their_o country_n and_o by_o a_o principle_n of_o moral_a virtue_n but_o to_o lose_v any_o delight_n or_o to_o suffer_v any_o hardship_n for_o that_o high_a end_n the_o glory_n of_o god_n and_o by_o the_o strength_n of_o love_n to_o he_o be_v far_o more_o excellent_a and_o true_o
