his_o hart_n so_o as_o he_o can_v by_o any_o mean_n doubt_v of_o god_n good_a will_n it_o be_v impossible_a that_o hope_v be_v wall_v in_o with_o so_o great_a strength_n shall_v be_v beat_v out_o shake_v down_o thrust_v out_o or_o disappoint_v of_o his_o expectation_n but_o see_v that_o man_n be_v such_o a_o lover_n of_o himself_o and_o that_o he_o esteem_v and_o measure_v god_n by_o his_o own_o nature_n how_o can_v he_o persuade_v himself_o that_o he_o be_v dear_a and_o well-beloved_a of_o god_n and_o that_o free_o and_o for_o no_o desert_n of_o his_o own_o p._n you_o shall_v easy_o enemy_n unto_o god_n we_o be_v bring_v into_o his_o favour_n again_o by_o the_o death_n of_o his_o son_n therefore_o much_o more_o shall_v we_o be_v preserve_v by_o his_o life_n now_o that_o we_o be_v wit_n by_o our_o first_o forefather_n adam_n sin_n enter_v into_o the_o woorld_n and_o death_n by_o the_o same_o sin_n so_o as_o it_o reign_v over_o all_o mankind_n in_o asmuch_o as_o all_o man_n have_v sin_v so_o also_o the_o man_n christ_n or_o the_o second_o adam_n do_v by_o shed_v faith_n into_o we_o make_v we_o sure_a and_o certain_a of_o the_o forgiveness_n of_o our_o sin_n power_n strive_v and_o wrestle_v against_o the_o law_n that_o say_v i_o do_v god_n bring_v to_o pass_v by_o send_v his_o own_o son_n in_o a_o body_n like_o to_o the_o body_n of_o sinner_n for_o he_o condemn_v doing_n be_v acceptable_a to_o god_n though_o they_o be_v not_o full_o in_o all_o point_n answerable_a to_o his_o law_n which_o otherwise_o require_v most_o perfect_a pureness_n r._n if_o it_o be_v be_v excead_v small_a that_o think_v upon_o newness_n of_o life_n or_o which_o be_v careful_a to_o obey_v god_n will_n and_o much_o less_o which_o bestyrre_n themselves_o in_o make_v war_n against_o their_o own_o natural_a and_o new_a incomme_n sinfulness_n p._n but_o believe_v i_o brother_n so_o long_o as_o man_n hold_v with_o flesh_n they_o will_v care_v for_o thing_n belong_v to_o the_o flesh_n and_o sin_n shall_v execute_v his_o tyranny_n over_o they_o contrariwyse_o they_o that_o hold_v with_o the_o spirit_n will_v be_v spiritual_a mind_v and_o because_o god_n spirit_n reign_v in_o they_o they_o will_v also_o delight_v in_o spiritual_a thing_n as_o who_o intentes_fw-la and_o indever_n be_v all_o guide_v by_o the_o holy_a ghost_n and_o therefore_o tend_v to_o god_n glory_n which_o thing_n can_v happen_v to_o such_o as_o follow_v the_o flesh_n because_o they_o do_v rather_o purchase_v god_n displeasure_n and_o consequent_o endless_a destruction_n to_o themselves_o by_o love_a and_o obey_v of_o the_o flesh_n p._n because_o the_o intent_n the_o indever_n the_o desire_n &_o to_o use_v my_o own_o word_n the_o wisdom_n of_o the_o flesh_n be_v deadly_a or_o to_o speak_v as_o it_o have_v a_o ill_a opnion_n take_v he_o for_o her_o utter_a adversary_n and_o imagine_v he_o to_o be_v a_o most_o cruel_a tormenter_n how_o be_v it_o possible_a that_o she_o shall_v be_v think_v of_o such_o as_o believe_v in_o christ_n you_o i_o say_v be_v by_o faith_n greff_v into_o christ_n as_o true_a sign_n of_o salvation_n you_o be_v justify_v and_o regenerate_v and_o therefore_o you_o be_v not_o now_o carnal_a but_o spiritual_a for_o somuch_o as_o god_n spirit_n dwell_v in_o you_o r._n herein_o be_v all_o the_o cunning_a and_o mastery_n paul_n p._n sure_o if_o any_o of_o you_o have_v not_o christ_n spirit_n he_o be_v none_o of_o he_o mark_v well_o what_o i_o say_v i_o say_v he_o be_v none_o of_o christ_n he_o be_v no_o member_n of_o he_o he_o be_v no_o brother_n of_o he_o he_o be_v no_o heir_n of_o eternal_a felicity_n with_o he_o r._n i_o believe_v that_o with_o all_o my_o heart_n but_o the_o thing_n that_o i_o think_v with_o myself_o be_v this_o that_o there_o be_v a_o great_a sort_n now_o a_o day_n which_o boast_v of_o the_o receyve_n of_o god_n spirit_n who_o life_n be_v notwithstanding_o no_o more_o like_o the_o holiness_n &_o most_o pure_a example_n of_o christ_n life_n than_o a_o apple_n as_o they_o say_v be_v like_o a_o oyster_n wherefore_o i_o pray_v you_o tell_v i_o by_o what_o mark_n i_o may_v discern_v such_o as_o have_v god_n spirit_n in_o very_a deed_n for_o it_o will_v do_v i_o good_a also_o to_o perceive_v the_o presence_n of_o god_n spirit_n in_o myself_o p._n let_v this_o be_v the_o answer_n to_o the_o other_o part_n of_o your_o the_o old_a man_n that_o be_v to_o say_v the_o flesh_n be_v dead_a as_o in_o respect_n of_o sin_n and_o the_o unruly_a and_o unstayed_a deed_n of_o wickedness_n and_o this_o be_v the_o death_n of_o the_o old_a man_n upon_o put_v away_o on_o the_o contrary_a part_n reign_v the_o spirit_n of_o god_n and_o execute_v his_o power_n upon_o man_n and_o live_v as_o in_o respect_n of_o rightuousnesse_n r._n sure_o a_o very_a notable_a mark_n of_o regeneration_n or_o newbirth_n for_o the_o spirit_n of_o christ_n into_o who_o we_o be_v greff_v not_o only_o gyve_v we_o life_n by_o inspyre_v we_o to_o suffer_v &_o bear_v with_o he_o but_o even_o we_o apostle_n who_o have_v the_o first_o fruit_n of_o the_o spirit_n yea_o &_o that_o in_o great_a abundance_n be_v notwithstanding_o so_o oppress_v with_o labour_n that_o we_o sigh_v at_o our_o heart_n long_v for_o the_o adoption_n of_o god_n child_n till_o it_o be_v show_v open_o as_o it_o shall_v be_v in_o the_o life_n to_o come_v and_o for_o the_o set_n of_o our_o body_n free_a from_o destruction_n which_o shall_v come_v to_o pass_v when_o we_o rise_v again_o r._n be_v you_o the_o chief_a blaser_n abroad_o of_o the_o gospel_n subject_n either_o be_v offend_v or_o wonder_v at_o it_o for_o we_o be_v not_o yet_o come_v to_o the_o possess_n of_o our_o happiness_n but_o by_o hope_n for_o only_o in_o hope_n be_v we_o now_o safe_a but_o when_o we_o be_v once_o in_o heaven_n we_o shall_v see_v god_n not_o any_o more_o by_o faith_n but_o open_o face_n to_o face_n and_o then_o we_o shall_v be_v without_o both_o labour_n and_o hope_n for_o the_o hope_n that_o be_v see_v be_v no_o hope_n for_o hope_n be_v a_o wait_v for_o a_o absent_a good_a thing_n that_o be_v long_v for_o for_o how_o be_v it_o possible_a that_o a_o man_n shall_v where_o he_o put_v eat_v for_o believe_v and_o believe_v for_o eat_v for_o like_a as_o we_o receive_v food_n by_o eat_v so_o do_v we_o participate_v of_o christ_n by_o believe_v therefore_o i_o divide_v not_o the_o benefit_n of_o justification_n partly_o to_o god_n grace_n or_o to_o christ_n and_o partly_o to_o ourselves_o or_o to_o our_o own_o charity_n and_o work_n or_o to_o our_o own_o deserve_v but_o i_o attribute_v it_o whole_o to_o god_n free_a favour_n in_o christ_n by_o faith_n beside_o this_o our_o love_n and_o work_n can_v not_o please_v god_n if_o they_o be_v do_v of_o we_o be_v yet_o unrighteous_a and_o therefore_o it_o behove_v we_o to_o be_v first_o justify_v before_o we_o can_v love_v or_o do_v good_a work_n but_o we_o be_v justify_v as_o i_o say_v afore_o by_o
