the_o work_n and_o countenance_v his_o people_n yet_o god_n effectual_a call_n do_v not_o so_o common_o come_v among_o rich_a man_n as_o the_o poor_a of_o the_o world_n the_o poor_a say_v christ_n receive_v the_o gospel_n the_o learned_a scribe_n and_o doctor_n among_o the_o jew_n and_o the_o rich_a pharisee_n they_o do_v all_o spurn_n at_o jesus_n christ_n when_o the_o poor_a and_o ignorant_a young_a to_o come_v in_o to_o jesus_n christ_n and_o to_o this_o end_n the_o devil_n will_v suggest_v to_o you_o that_o old_a and_o false_a proverb_n a_o young_a saint_n and_o a_o old_a devil_n whereas_o indeed_o if_o you_o be_v young_a devil_n you_o will_v be_v old_a beelzebub_n and_o therefore_o this_o be_v a_o suggestion_n prevail_v with_o many_o heart_n i_o shall_v lay_v down_o six_o consideration_n to_o take_v off_o this_o temptation_n that_o it_o may_v not_o prevail_v with_o you_o first_o if_o the_o devil_n tempt_v you_o that_o you_o be_v yet_o too_o young_a to_o hearken_v to_o christ_n call_n consider_v that_o the_o devil_n can_v give_v you_o a_o lease_n of_o your_o life_n if_o the_o devil_n can_v give_v you_o a_o lease_n of_o your_o life_n and_o tell_v you_o you_o shall_v it_o upside-down_a if_o it_o be_v not_o right_o ground_v it_o will_v never_o long_o be_v continue_v examine_v therefore_o upon_o what_o ground_n you_o have_v bottom_v your_o assurance_n and_o if_o you_o find_v the_o foundation_n of_o your_o comfort_n to_o be_v ill_o lay_v you_o must_v pluck_v up_o all_o again_o three_o search_v how_o you_o manage_v your_o assurance_n it_o may_v be_v you_o manage_v your_o assurance_n with_o pride_n not_o humility_n it_o may_v be_v with_o unwatchfulnesse_n and_o carelessness_n of_o spirit_n and_o do_v not_o take_v notice_n of_o those_o temptation_n and_o steal_v away_o your_o comfort_n if_o you_o have_v lay_v down_o your_o watch_n four_o examine_v what_o special_a cause_n there_o be_v in_o your_o heart_n that_o may_v provoke_v god_n to_o cloud_v you_o in_o your_o comfort_n and_o to_o take_v away_o your_o assurance_n from_o you_o and_o here_o that_o you_o may_v a_o little_a be_v direct_v in_o this_o search_n you_o may_v reduce_v the_o cause_n of_o your_o eclipse_n and_o of_o the_o removal_n of_o your_o assurance_n unto_o this_o twofold_a head_n either_o it_o have_v be_v the_o commission_n of_o some_o great_a transgression_n or_o else_o the_o omission_n of_o some_o weighty_a duty_n that_o may_v provoke_v god_n to_o darken_v your_o comfort_n as_o first_o the_o commission_n of_o some_o great_a transgression_n great_a sin_n they_o lay_v a_o foundation_n for_o great_a discomfort_n in_o tender_a conscience_n conscientiam_fw-la vastare_fw-la conscientiam_fw-la great_a sin_n they_o lay_v the_o conscience_n waste_n to_o make_v it_o that_o be_v sure_a that_o sin_n be_v the_o occasion_n or_o second_o if_o the_o commission_n of_o any_o sin_n do_v bring_v upon_o you_o more_o than_o a_o ordinary_a measure_n of_o hardness_n of_o heart_n place_n speak_v of_o the_o great_a measure_n of_o faith_n that_o be_v in_o the_o godly_a people_n of_o this_o church_n and_o yet_o though_o their_o faith_n be_v so_o eminent_a and_o they_o christian_n that_o here_o be_v very_o great_a comfort_n for_o believer_n that_o the_o strong_a christian_n in_o the_o faith_n have_v have_v great_a defect_n that_o have_v attend_v their_o grace_n thus_o have_v finish_v these_o seven_o comfortable_a conclusion_n because_o i_o will_v have_v no_o delude_a sinner_n nuzzle_v up_o in_o presumptuous_a persuasion_n of_o his_o own_o blessedness_n when_o he_o be_v a_o curse_a man_n and_o design_v for_o hell_n i_o have_v two_o or_o three_o sad_a conclusion_n to_o lay_v down_o for_o all_o you_o that_o harbour_v groundless_a and_o presumptuous_a persuasion_n of_o your_o effectual_a call_n when_o you_o be_v not_o as_o first_o you_o that_o nourish_v presumptuous_a persuasion_n of_o your_o effectual_a call_n when_o you_o be_v not_o take_v this_o conclusion_n to_o dread_v your_o heart_n that_o it_o be_v likely_a you_o shall_v never_o be_v effectual_o call_v by_o jesus_n christ_n there_o be_v no_o man_n so_o unlikely_a to_o be_v true_o call_v by_o christ_n as_o they_o and_o to_o call_v they_o to_o repentance_n of_o all_o man_n in_o the_o world_n you_o be_v most_o unlikely_a to_o be_v call_v that_o nourish_v ungrounded_a persuasion_n of_o your_o effectual_a call_n second_o whilst_o you_o live_v in_o this_o world_n you_o be_v mere_a stranger_n to_o that_o inward_a and_o spiritual_a joy_n which_o every_o true_a believer_n feel_v and_o find_v in_o jesus_n christ_n you_o do_v not_o intermeddle_v with_o those_o inward_a solace_n and_o sweet_a enjoyment_n of_o heart_n which_o every_o sincere_a believer_n have_v in_o jesus_n christ_n a_o man_n that_o have_v assurance_n upon_o good_a ground_n he_o be_v so_o fill_v with_o joy_n that_o it_o will_v bear_v he_o up_o against_o all_o the_o suffering_n and_o sorrow_n he_o may_v meet_v with_o here_o in_o the_o world_n he_o that_o have_v assurance_n no_o suffering_n can_v daunt_v he_o as_o adolphus_n clarebachius_n when_o he_o be_v burn_v at_o the_o stake_n he_o be_v so_o fill_v with_o the_o
