body_n and_o upon_o this_o ground_n they_o will_v adventure_v to_o discover_v some_o hide_a mark_n in_o the_o unseen_a part_n of_o the_o body_n but_o whatsoever_o it_o be_v in_o the_o natural_a body_n i_o be_o sure_a it_o be_v true_a in_o the_o mystical_a body_n of_o christ_n that_o every_o character_n in_o the_o head_n christ_n must_v have_v something_o answerable_a to_o it_o in_o his_o body_n the_o church_n thus_o much_o for_o the_o general_a we_o must_v learn_v of_o christ._n but_o what_o be_v that_o here_o in_o my_o text_n which_o christ_n will_v have_v we_o learn_v of_o he_o it_o follow_v i_o be_o meek_a and_o lowly_a in_o heart_n and_o this_o we_o must_v learn_v of_o he_o this_o be_v that_o yoke_n of_o his_o he_o will_v have_v we_o wear_v that_o we_o may_v find_v rest_n unto_o our_o soul_n for_o under_o these_o two_o word_n our_o saviour_n comprehend_v the_o whole_a habit_n of_o obedience_n they_o be_v two_o such_o disposition_n of_o the_o mind_n aâ—_n make_v it_o of_o mind_n for_o all_o eminency_n be_v worship_v with_o humility_n reverence_n and_o submission_n that_o be_v as_o we_o sometime_o and_o right_o speak_v by_o keep_v a_o distance_n and_o the_o sovereign_n or_o supreme_a excellency_n of_o god_n must_v be_v adore_v with_o the_o low_a demission_n of_o mind_n and_o with_o the_o great_a stoop_v the_o soul_n can_v make_v we_o find_v by_o experience_n that_o that_o disposition_n of_o the_o eye_n which_o fit_v it_o to_o behold_v the_o visible_a sun_n make_v a_o man_n blind_a when_o he_o look_v down_o upon_o himself_o so_o here_o the_o apprehension_n of_o the_o transcendent_a excellency_n of_o god_n ten_o thousand_o time_n bright_a than_o the_o sun_n if_o true_o admit_v into_o our_o heart_n must_v needs_o darken_v all_o overween_a conceit_n of_o any_o worthiness_n in_o ourselves_o the_o great_a we_o will_v apprehend_v his_o power_n the_o more_o sensible_a we_o must_v be_v of_o our_o own_o weakness_n the_o great_a we_o acknowledge_v and_o adore_v his_o goodness_n the_o less_o goodness_n must_v we_o see_v in_o ourselves_o the_o more_o we_o will_v apprehend_v his_o wisdom_n the_o less_o we_o be_v to_o be_v puss_v up_o with_o our_o own_o knowledge_n as_o in_o a_o pair_n of_o scale_n the_o high_a we_o will_v raise_v the_o one_o scale_n the_o low_a we_o pull_v down_o the_o other_o so_o the_o high_a we_o raise_v god_n in_o our_o heart_n the_o low_a we_o must_v depress_v ourselves_o bless_a be_v the_o poor_a in_o spirit_n for_o they_o be_v the_o kingdom_n of_o heaven_n â—_o and_o this_o be_v that_o lowliness_n of_o heart_n which_o christ_n will_v have_v we_o learn_v of_o he_o who_o be_v in_o the_o form_n of_o god_n make_v himself_o of_o no_o reputation_n and_o take_v upon_o he_o the_o form_n of_o a_o servant_n usual_o walk_v not_o but_o in_o the_o nighttime_n when_o darkness_n cover_v the_o face_n of_o the_o earth_n so_o in_o the_o brightness_n and_o sunshine_n of_o health_n and_o prosperity_n what_o marvel_v though_o this_o terrible_a fiend_n a_o evil_a conscience_n do_v not_o much_o haunt_v a_o dull_a and_o stupid_a heart_n but_o in_o the_o darkness_n of_o sickness_n in_o the_o midnight_n of_o the_o day_n of_o our_o jollity_n and_o prosperity_n will_v most_o grievous_o torment_v we_o when_o by_o sickness_n fear_v of_o death_n or_o other_o calamity_n our_o wont_a mirth_n and_o transitory_a contentment_n shall_v be_v eclipse_v then_o as_o the_o carcase_n of_o he_o that_o be_v slay_v though_o it_o seem_v stark_o and_o stiff_a be_v say_v to_o bleed_v afresh_o at_o the_o presence_n of_o one_o dram_n of_o that_o comfortable_a quietness_n of_o soul_n which_o a_o good_a conscience_n bring_v a_o good_a conscience_n therefore_o from_o a_o life_n well_o lead_v be_v a_o jewel_n unvaluable_a for_o mirth_n all_o the_o merriment_n and_o music_n all_o the_o wine_n and_o good_a cheer_n in_o the_o world_n will_v not_o make_v a_o man_n heart_n so_o light_a and_o merry_a as_o the_o wine_n which_o be_v drink_v at_o the_o feast_n of_o a_o good_a conscience_n this_o be_v no_o superficial_a matter_n but_o root_v in_o the_o very_a centre_n of_o the_o soul_n whereas_o your_o wine-mirth_n be_v but_o the_o smother_n sometime_o if_o not_o drown_v of_o a_o deep_a grief_n like_o the_o lustick_a fit_n in_o some_o country_n of_o such_o as_o be_v go_v to_o execution_n 6._o give_v strong_a drink_n say_v solomon_n unto_o he_o that_o be_v ready_a to_o perish_v and_o wine_n unto_o those_o that_o be_v of_o heavy_a heart_n 2._o for_o society_n and_o company_n what_o feast_n in_o the_o world_n can_v afford_v the_o like_a this_o do_v for_o it_o have_v not_o only_o exceed_v good_a but_o all_o suitable_a and_o homogeneal_a where_o be_v no_o admixture_n of_o ill_a here_o you_o shall_v have_v no_o unruly_a person_n blaspheme_v god_n or_o man_n to_o make_v themselves_o or_o other_o pastime_n no_o unsavoury_a communication_n to_o stain_v and_o pollute_v by_o degree_n the_o purity_n of_o the_o soul_n and_o make_v a_o reckon_n unsupportable_a when_o the_o day_n shall_v come_v wherein_o we_o must_v give_v account_n of_o every_o idle_a word_n but_o a_o good_a conscience_n have_v ever_o good_a company_n and_o so_o good_a as_o will_v admit_v no_o ill_a for_o the_o father_n be_v with_o it_o that_o great_a and_o mighty_a god_n who_o make_v we_o the_o son_n be_v with_o it_o even_o christ_n himself_o who_o redeem_v we_o they_o sup_v and_o feast_v together_o the_o holy_a ghost_n be_v with_o it_o who_o cheer_v up_o and_o sanctify_v the_o heart_n of_o all_o who_o come_v to_o this_o table_n what_o feast_n in_o the_o world_n can_v show_v so_o honourable_a so_o love_v so_o cheerful_a company_n as_o this_o 3._o and_o for_o the_o last_o thing_n which_o make_v a_o feast_n desirable_a good_a cheer_v it_o be_v a_o table_n rich_o furnish_v with_o all_o variety_n and_o dainty_n a_o collection_n of_o all_o the_o rarity_n and_o delicacy_n not_o which_o sea_n and_o land_n only_o but_o which_o heaven_n itself_o afford_v who_o will_v not_o come_v upon_o any_o invitation_n to_o partake_v of_o such_o a_o feast_n as_o this_o discourse_n xxxiii_o act_n 10._o 4._o and_o he_o say_v unto_o heart_n friend_n we_o must_v cherish_v increase_n and_o improve_v they_o to_o the_o
