insight_n into_o the_o greatness_n and_o goodness_n of_o god_n and_o jesus_n christ_n that_o thou_o may_v be_v able_a to_o judge_v all_o the_o world_n to_o be_v but_o as_o a_o drop_n of_o the_o bucket_n or_o as_o the_o small_a dust_n of_o the_o balance_n to_o thy_o father_n and_o saviour_n and_o let_v thy_o whole_a man_n act_n according_a to_o such_o a_o wise_a holy_a just_a judgement_n and_o this_o will_n exceed_o fit_v thou_o for_o sickness_n and_o death_n which_o come_v to_o loose_v thou_o from_o such_o a_o vain_a world_n into_o the_o presence_n and_o everlasting_a enjoyment_n of_o such_o a_o glorious_a god_n 2._o look_v upon_o sin_n and_o upon_o the_o righteousness_n of_o jesus_n christ_n look_v upon_o these_o together_o belove_v faith_n have_v a_o deep_a insight_n into_o the_o evil_n of_o sin_n for_o it_o see_v the_o glory_n of_o god_n which_o sin_n be_v against_o wherein_o the_o evil_a of_o it_o appear_v and_o believe_v the_o dreadful_a curse_n of_o the_o law_n and_o what_o the_o wrath_n of_o god_n and_o what_o hell_n be_v and_o what_o a_o immortal_a be_v a_o man_n be_v that_o must_v suffer_v these_o i'faith_o also_o have_v a_o pierce_a insight_n into_o the_o justify_v faith_n that_o it_o receive_v christ_n righteousness_n for_o salvation_n for_o the_o same_o reason_n which_o god_n receive_v it_o for_o satisfaction_n that_o be_v because_o it_o be_v the_o righteousness_n of_o god_n and_o indeed_o faith_n must_v see_v god_n satisfy_v before_o it_o can_v see_v the_o believer_n save_v and_o see_v enough_o in_o christ_n for_o the_o satisfaction_n of_o god_n it_o see_v the_o same_o sufficiency_n in_o he_o for_o the_o salvation_n of_o the_o believer_n now_o christ_n righteousness_n never_o appear_v more_o precious_a than_o when_o the_o soul_n be_v fill_v with_o the_o deep_a sight_n and_o sense_n of_o sin_n for_o then_o the_o soul_n believe_v he_o to_o be_v a_o great_a saviour_n when_o he_o see_v the_o great_a evil_n of_o sin_n which_o he_o save_v he_o from_o and_o therefore_o it_o be_v observable_a that_o the_o apostle_n demonstrate_v the_o direful_a guilt_n and_o filth_n of_o sin_n as_o a_o preface_n to_o that_o great_a doctrine_n of_o justification_n by_o faith_n in_o the_o righteousness_n of_o christ_n rom._n 3._o from_o vers_fw-la 9_o to_o the_o end_n of_o that_o chapter_n and_o as_o you_o know_v it_o be_v a_o sad_a and_o fearful_a case_n for_o the_o poor_a jew_n to_o be_v bitteâ—_n with_o the_o fiery_a serpent_n and_o to_o lie_v groan_v under_o the_o pain_n and_o anguish_n of_o those_o poisonous_a and_o deadly_a
