person_n and_o the_o divine_a and_o humane_a nature_n be_v complete_a intelligent_a substance_n than_o the_o doctrine_n of_o the_o union_n of_o two_o nature_n and_o one_o person_n be_v quite_o sink_v be_v not_o divine_o reveal_v and_o here_o i_o will_v presume_v that_o your_o lordship_n be_v not_o so_o sceptical_a but_o that_o you_o can_v allow_v certainty_n attainable_a in_o many_o thing_n by_o your_o natural_a faculty_n give_v i_o leave_v then_o to_o ask_v your_o lordship_n whether_o where_o there_o be_v proposition_n of_o who_o truth_n you_o have_v certain_a knowledge_n you_o can_v receive_v any_o proposition_n for_o divine_a revelation_n which_o contradict_v that_o certainty_n whether_o that_o certainty_n be_v build_v upon_o the_o agreement_n of_o idea_n such_o as_o we_o have_v or_o on_o whatever_o else_o your_o lordship_n build_v it_o if_o you_o can_v as_o i_o presume_v your_o lordship_n will_v say_v you_o can_v i_o make_v bold_a to_o return_v you_o your_o lordship_n question_n here_o to_o i_o in_o your_o own_o word_n 64._o let_v we_o now_o suppose_v that_o you_o be_v to_o judge_v of_o a_o proposition_n deliver_v as_o a_o matter_n of_o faith_n where_o you_o have_v supposition_n that_o i_o do_v so_o which_o i_o think_v your_o lordship_n confess_v in_o these_o word_n 9_o where_o you_o say_v that_o you_o do_v not_o deny_v but_o the_o first_o occasion_n of_o your_o charge_n be_v the_o supposition_n that_o clear_a and_o distinct_a idea_n be_v necessary_a in_o order_n to_o any_o certainty_n in_o our_o mind_n and_o that_o the_o only_a way_n to_o attain_v this_o certainty_n be_v the_o compare_v these_o i._n e._n clear_a and_o distinct_a idea_n together_o but_o to_o prove_v this_o my_o word_n your_o lordship_n say_v be_v produce_v and_o my_o principle_n of_o certainty_n lay_v down_o and_o none_o else_o answer_n it_o be_v strange_a that_o when_o my_o principle_n of_o certainty_n be_v lay_v down_o this_o if_o i_o hold_v it_o be_v not_o find_v among_o they_o have_v look_v therefore_o i_o do_v not_o find_v in_o that_o place_n that_o any_o word_n or_o principle_n of_o i_o be_v produce_v to_o prove_v that_o i_o hold_v that_o the_o only_a way_n to_o attain_v
