viz._n in_o the_o covenant_n of_o redemption_n say_v they_o christ_n make_v god_n amends_o for_o our_o breach_n of_o the_o law_n of_o perfect_a obedience_n by_o himself_o alone_o and_o for_o himself_o only_o that_o so_o he_o may_v be_v a_o fit_a mediator_n and_o merit_v a_o new_a law_n of_o faith_n and_o sincere_a obedience_n for_o their_o covenant_n of_o grace_n be_v a_o law_n of_o obedience_n which_o law_n or_o covenant_n he_o confirm_v by_o his_o death_n so_o that_o now_o god_n say_v they_o enter_v into_o a_o covenant_n with_o mankind_n and_o if_o they_o perform_v the_o condition_n of_o it_o or_o so_o far_o as_o they_o do_v so_o far_o they_o shall_v be_v justify_v and_o shall_v have_v eternal_a life_n provide_v they_o continue_v unto_o the_o end_n and_o thus_o as_o before_o i_o have_v hint_v christ_n be_v our_o legal_a righteousness_n in_o the_o covenant_n of_o redemption_n he_o fulfil_v the_o law_n of_o work_n or_o the_o strict_a law_n of_o perfect_a obedience_n by_o give_v covenant_n of_o grace_n let_v i_o infer_v upon_o he_o viz._n if_o jesus_n christ_n in_o that_o covenant_n he_o enter_v in_o with_o the_o father_n be_v constitute_v mediator_n of_o the_o new_a covenant_n and_o he_o be_v mediator_n of_o the_o covenant_n of_o grace_n how_o can_v that_o covenant_n be_v distinct_a or_o essential_o differ_v from_o the_o covenant_n of_o grace_n moreover_o it_o be_v observable_a how_o this_o great_a author_n and_o reverend_a charnock_n differ_v one_o with_o the_o other_o yet_o both_o assert_v the_o covenant_n be_v distinct_a this_o man_n say_v 26._o that_o christ_n be_v surety_n of_o the_o covenant_n of_o redemption_n the_o other_o deny_v it_o and_o say_v 273._o the_o covenant_n of_o redemption_n have_v no_o surety_n but_o the_o father_n and_o the_o
