great_a delight_n and_o his_o fruit_n be_v sweet_a to_o my_o taste_n i_o have_v make_v entrance_n the_o last_o day_n here_o be_v a_o double_a comparison_n the_o son_n of_o man_n be_v compare_v to_o the_o tree_n of_o the_o wood_n the_o son_n of_o god_n be_v compare_v to_o the_o appletree_n among_o those_o tree_n i_o shall_v add_v a_o five_o particular_a wherein_n the_o resemblance_n hold_v 5._o christ_n here_o be_v set_v forth_o as_o the_o appletree_n it_o seem_v to_o relate_v to_o the_o fruit_n of_o that_o tree_n that_o man_n do_v eat_v in_o paradise_n which_o in_o all_o probability_n be_v a_o kind_n of_o apple_n and_o herein_o we_o call_v to_o mind_v how_o man_n lose_v his_o happiness_n where_o it_o be_v that_o man_n undo_v himself_o how_o sin_n come_v into_o the_o world_n by_o eat_v of_o the_o forbid_a fruit_n as_o also_o it_o hold_v forth_o that_o christ_n have_v take_v away_o that_o curse_v all_o the_o bitterness_n and_o wrath_n for_o his_o people_n which_o be_v the_o fruit_n have_v his_o people_n remember_v what_o they_o lose_v in_o adam_n by_o their_o disobedience_n and_o then_o the_o lord_n will_v have_v they_o remember_v the_o lord_n jesus_n he_o have_v take_v away_o all_o that_o curse_n and_o all_o that_o wrath_n which_o be_v the_o desert_n of_o man_n disobedience_n so_o that_o it_o shall_v not_o be_v pour_v upon_o believer_n and_o so_o much_o for_o the_o comparison_n betwixt_o christ_n and_o the_o appletree_n 2._o it_o be_v say_v further_o that_o he_o be_v as_o the_o appletree_n among_o the_o tree_n of_o the_o wood._n the_o next_o work_n than_o be_v to_o inquire_v after_o that_o comparison_n why_o be_v christ_n say_v to_o be_v the_o appletree_n among_o the_o tree_n of_o the_o wood_n why_o not_o among_o the_o tree_n of_o the_o garden_n there_o well_o as_o the_o rest_n of_o the_o tree_n in_o the_o wood_n he_o be_v of_o the_o same_o substance_n with_o they_o he_o have_v the_o same_o body_n the_o same_o bark_n the_o same_o rind_n the_o same_o outside_n that_o other_o tree_n have_v he_o be_v in_o all_o thing_n make_v like_a unto_o we_o we_o read_v in_o heb._n 2._o 14_o 17._o for_o as_o much_o then_o as_o the_o child_n be_v partaker_n of_o flesh_n and_o blood_n he_o also_o himself_o likewise_o take_v part_n of_o the_o same_o that_o though_o death_n he_o may_v destroy_v he_o that_o have_v the_o power_n of_o death_n that_o be_v the_o father_n have_v determine_v to_o graft_v all_o the_o son_n and_o daughter_n of_o man_n that_o he_o have_v appoint_v to_o be_v tree_n of_o righteousness_n in_o his_o paradise_n i_o say_v all_o that_o be_v to_o be_v make_v tree_n of_o righteousness_n be_v to_o be_v engraft_v into_o that_o stock_n and_o therefore_o there_o be_v a_o necessity_n that_o the_o stock_n shall_v be_v like_a unto_o the_o again_o second_o this_o comparison_n do_v hold_v forth_o the_o unspotted_a nature_n and_o that_o holiness_n which_o be_v in_o jesus_n christ_n it_o hold_v it_o forth_o in_o the_o excellency_n of_o it_o he_o be_v a_o appletree_n among_o the_o tree_n of_o the_o wood_n he_o be_v not_o a_o wild_a tree_n as_o they_o be_v though_o he_o grow_v among_o the_o wild_a tree_n though_o he_o grow_v in_o the_o world_n yet_o he_o do_v not_o partake_v of_o the_o sin_n of_o the_o world_n there_o be_v no_o corruption_n in_o he_o he_o bring_v forth_o no_o wild_a fruit_n and_o herein_o be_v the_o excellency_n of_o christ_n hold_v forth_o to_o see_v a_o appletree_n a_o sweet_a apple_n in_o the_o midst_n of_o a_o orchard_n be_v no_o great_a wonder_n but_o to_o find_v a_o appletree_n lade_v and_o become_v altogether_o unprofitable_a there_o be_v none_o that_o do_v good_a no_o not_o one_o this_o be_v the_o natural_a estate_n of_o all_o man_n and_o that_o christ_n shall_v be_v plant_v in_o man_n in_o the_o world_n have_v of_o christ_n they_o look_v upon_o he_o as_o a_o common_a tree_n he_o be_v among_o the_o tree_n in_o the_o wood_n and_o he_o be_v of_o no_o better_a account_n than_o the_o tree_n of_o the_o wood_n cant._n 5._o 9_o what_o be_v thy_o beloved_a say_v they_o more_o than_o another_o belove_a they_o can_v not_o believe_v that_o there_o shall_v be_v any_o thing_n of_o worth_n more_o in_o christ_n than_o be_v in_o other_o person_n and_o other_o thing_n what_o be_v thy_o belove_v they_o can_v not_o believe_v that_o he_o be_v any_o more_o than_o another_o tree_n extraordinary_a affliction_n all_o their_o day_n above_o all_o the_o man_n in_o the_o world_n they_o be_v most_o afflict_v i_o say_v the_o way_n that_o god_n lead_v some_o of_o his_o servant_n to_o
