strife_n for_o if_o the_o law_n in_o any_o of_o the_o ordinance_n of_o it_o be_v yet_o remain_v in_o any_o force_n power_n or_o dominion_n it_o be_v among_o those_o that_o be_v not_o yet_o come_v out_o of_o sin_n and_o deceit_n to_o that_o everlasting_a righteousness_n and_o truth_n of_o the_o gospel_n which_o christ_n who_o put_v a_o end_n to_o sin_n bring_v in_o among_o his_o disciple_n who_o seek_v his_o kingdom_n and_o the_o righteousness_n of_o it_o but_o not_o among_o the_o saint_n that_o obtain_v by_o participation_n of_o christ_n power_n spirit_n and_o righteousness_n to_o a_o dominion_n over_o sin_n and_o so_o over_o the_o law_n for_o where_o sin_n have_v not_o dominion_n over_o man_n as_o it_o have_v before_o there_o man_n be_v no_o more_o under_o the_o law_n but_o under_o grace_n rom._n 6._o 14._o such_o over_o who_o the_o law_n have_v dominion_n while_o they_o live_v and_o be_v in_o the_o flesh_n and_o under_o the_o prevalent_a work_n of_o the_o motion_n of_o sin_n in_o their_o member_n to_o bring_v forth_o the_o evil_a fruit_n of_o strife_n variance_n etc._n etc._n unto_o death_n and_o bondage_n be_v then_o deliver_v from_o the_o law_n be_v deatd_v to_o that_o in_o which_o they_o be_v once_o hold_v they_o bring_v forth_o fruit_n of_o the_o spirit_n unto_o god_n love_n peace_n meckness_n without_o envy_n hatr●…d_n strife_n and_o serve_v in_o the_o ●…wness_n of_o the_o spirit_n and_o not_o in_o that_o legal_a oldness_n of_o the_o letter_n rom._n 7._o wherein_o those_o walk_n who_o notwithstanding_o all_o their_o profession_n of_o religion_n and_o christianity_n in_o word_n yet_o bite_v and_o devour_v one_o another_o till_o at_o last_o they_o be_v consume_v one_o of_o another_o with_o their_o lie_v deceit_n bitter_a envy_v and_o strife_n for_o all_o their_o oath_n yea_o gal._n 5._o 18._o 23._o if_o man_n be_v lead_v of_o the_o spirit_n they_o be_v not_o under_o the_o law_n and_o those_o that_o bring_v forth_o the_o fruit_n of_o the_o spirit_n against_o such_o there_o be_v no_o law_n so_o though_o the_o law_n be_v good_a if_o man_n can_v tell_v how_o to_o use_v it_o lawful_o yet_o we_o know_v as_o paul_n do_v 1._o tim._n 1._o 8_o 9_o 10._o that_o the_o law_n be_v not_o make_v for_o a_o righteous_a man_n but_o for_o the_o lawless_a and_o disobedient_a for_o the_o ungodly_a and_o for_o sinner_n for_o unholy_a and_o prophave_v for_o murderer_n of_o father_n and_o mother_n men-slayer_n whoremonger_n they_o that_o defile_v themselves_o for_o men-stealer_n for_o liar_n for_o persured_a person_n and_o any_o other_o thing_n that_o be_v contrary_a to_o the_o sound_a doctrine_n of_o the_o glorious_a gospel_n of_o the_o bless_a god_n which_o be_v witness_v among_o the_o quaker_n to_o be_v the_o power_n of_o god_n to_o the_o salvation_n of_o they_o from_o those_o unrighteousness_n for_o who_o therefore_o neither_o the_o law_n nor_o the_o curb_n and_o cure_v provide_v in_o it_o as_o remedy_n against_o man_n disease_n 〈◊〉_d just_o applicable_a or_o to_o be_v impose_v but_o now_o the_o bishop_n beat_v all_o beside_o the_o iron_n upon_o the_o anvil_n dispute_v beside_o the_o question_n and_o make_v it_o his_o main_a drift_n to_o prove_v the_o necessary_a use_n of_o oath_n either_o among_o the_o jew_n among_o who_o the_o quaker_n deny_v it_o not_o to_o have_v be_v lawful_a to_o which_o purpose_n he_o trouble_v himself_o to_o no_o purpose_n because_o without_o need_n
