bring_v his_o people_n to_o the_o outward_a profession_n of_o godliness_n but_o to_o the_o work_n and_o power_n of_o it_o in_o their_o heart_n not_o only_o to_o have_v the_o name_n of_o christian_a but_o christianity_n itself_o and_o this_o be_v the_o end_n of_o all_o his_o study_v to_o get_v they_o to_o god_n by_o little_a and_o little_a till_o christ_n be_v form_v in_o they_o gal._n 4.11_o my_o little_a child_n say_v the_o apostle_n etc._n etc._n s._n paul_n travel_v in_o birth_n with_o the_o galathian_o from_o a_o state_n of_o nature_n to_o a_o state_n of_o grace_n he_o will_v get_v grace_n wrought_v in_o their_o heart_n he_o will_v get_v they_o ingraff_v into_o christ_n and_o this_o be_v the_o end_n of_o his_o commend_v they_o to_o god_n which_o he_o will_v fain_o have_v do_v if_o he_o may_v have_v be_v suffer_v to_o preach_v to_o they_o this_o be_v the_o language_n of_o a_o minister_n heart_n lord_n lord_n thou_o know_v that_o it_o be_v the_o desire_n of_o my_o soul_n of_o your_o duty_n to_o walk_v therein_o for_o as_o much_o as_o it_o have_v be_v the_o design_n of_o mâ—_n preach_v all_o along_o to_o expound_v the_o way_n of_o god_n to_o you_o and_o to_o instruct_v you_o in_o the_o way_n of_o the_o lord_n and_o i_o be_o now_o direct_v my_o speech_n to_o the_o saint_n of_o god_n who_o know_v own_o and_o profess_v the_o way_n of_o the_o lord_n i_o shall_v not_o spend_v much_o time_n while_o i_o have_v so_o little_o leave_v in_o recount_v to_o you_o what_o i_o have_v teach_v you_o concern_v the_o way_n of_o the_o lord_n only_o in_o general_n that_o way_n of_o truth_n and_o righteousness_n the_o way_n of_o faith_n and_o holiness_n which_o i_o have_v teach_v you_o from_o the_o word_n be_v intend_v you_o know_v the_o way_n of_o gospel-doctrine_n gospel-fellowship_n gospel-worship_n gospel-discipline_n and_o gospel-conversation_n which_o i_o have_v preach_v and_o you_o have_v receive_v and_o here_o belove_v i_o call_v god_n to_o witness_v in_o who_o name_n i_o have_v preach_v to_o you_o that_o i_o have_v preach_v the_o way_n of_o the_o lord_n sincere_o and_o faithful_o as_o i_o have_v receive_v of_o the_o lord_n by_o the_o teach_n of_o his_o spirit_n through_o the_o word_n i_o therefore_o beseech_v and_o entreat_v you_o out_o of_o that_o hearty_a love_n i_o bear_v to_o you_o and_o that_o affectionate_a care_n i_o have_v for_o you_o that_o as_o you_o tender_v the_o glory_n of_o god_n your_o own_o peace_n here_o and_o eternal_a happiness_n hereafter_o and_o the_o spiritual_a and_o eternal_a good_a of_o other_o that_o you_o will_v remember_v how_o you_o have_v hear_v and_o receive_v and_o keep_v the_o way_n of_o the_o lord_n in_o the_o prosecute_n of_o this_o i_o shall_v speak_v to_o these_o two_o thing_n first_o open_v this_o duty_n in_o a_o few_o particular_n second_o give_v you_o some_o direction_n to_o help_v you_o herein_o for_o the_o first_o of_o these_o take_v it_o in_o these_o particular_n 1._o be_v exhort_v to_o keep_v the_o way_n of_o the_o lord_n in_o your_o memory_n so_o rev._n 3_o 3._o remember_v therefore_o how_o thou_o have_v receive_v and_o hear_v and_o hold_v fast_o i_o be_o speak_v to_o those_o that_o have_v receive_v the_o knowledge_n of_o the_o way_n of_o the_o lord_n that_o they_o retain_v what_o they_o have_v learn_v and_o that_o they_o maintain_v a_o actual_a remembrance_n of_o it_o and_o the_o rather_o take_v heed_n to_o this_o every_o one_o of_o you_o with_o the_o great_a diligence_n for_o that_o you_o be_v like_a to_o be_v deprive_v of_o the_o help_n of_o your_o remembrancer_n viz._n the_o faithful_a minister_n of_o christ_n 1_o tim._n 4.6_o you_o have_v have_v their_o help_n a_o lâ—ng_a while_n in_o put_v you_o from_o sabbath_n to_o sabbath_n in_o remembrance_n but_o this_o be_v take_v from_o you_o as_o the_o apostle_n in_o another_o case_n heb._n 2.1_o therefore_o you_o ought_v to_o give_v the_o more_o earnest_a heed_n to_o the_o thing_n you_o have_v hear_v lest_o at_o any_o time_n you_o shall_v let_v they_o slip_v 2._o keep_v the_o way_n of_o the_o lord_n in_o your_o judgement_n and_o conscience_n i_o be_o speak_v to_o those_o who_o judgement_n be_v enlighten_v and_o conscience_n renew_v to_o approve_v of_o the_o way_n of_o the_o lord_n as_o therefore_o the_o apostle_n unto_o they_o 2_o pet._n 3.17_o you_o therefore_o belove_v see_v you_o know_v these_o thing_n before_o beware_v lest_o you_o be_v lead_v amay_n with_o the_o error_n of_o the_o wicked_a and_o fall_v from_o your_o own_o steadfastness_n so_o say_v i_o see_v you_o know_v the_o way_n of_o the_o lord_n and_o approve_v of_o it_o beware_v lest_o be_v lead_v away_o with_o the_o error_n of_o the_o wicked_a and_o your_o own_o judgement_n be_v thereby_o corrupe_v and_o your_o conscience_n defile_v you_o fall_v from_o your_o own_o steadfastness_n and_o i_o the_o rather_o press_v this_o for_o that_o as_o the_o apostle_n have_v it_o 2_o cor._n 11.3_o i_o fear_v lest_o by_o any_o mean_n as_o the_o serpent_n beguile_v eve_n through_o his_o subtlety_n so_o your_o mind_n shall_v be_v corrupt_v from_o the_o simplicity_n that_o be_v in_o christ_n 3._o keep_v the_o way_n of_o the_o lord_n in_o your_o profession_n i_o be_o speak_v unto_o those_o who_o as_o rom._n 10.10_o with_o the_o heart_n believe_v unto_o righteousness_n and_o with_o the_o month_n make_v confession_n unto_o salvation_n and_o you_o have_v the_o exhortation_n in_o the_o word_n of_o the_o apostle_n heb._n 10.23_o let_v we_o hold_v fast_o the_o profession_n of_o the_o faith_n without_o waver_v be_v not_o ashamed_a of_o your_o profession_n as_o our_o saviour_n speak_v mar_v 8.38_o whosoever_o therefore_o shall_v be_v ashamed_a of_o i_o and_o of_o my_o word_n in_o this_o adulterous_a and_o
