for_o fall_v angel_n or_o for_o fall_v mankind_n to_o get_v up_o to_o heaven_n but_o the_o foot_n of_o it_o stand_v on_o the_o earth_n 2.17.18_o denote_v no_o doubt_n the_o same_o thing_n which_o the_o apostle_n speak_v very_o he_o take_v not_o hold_v on_o the_o nature_n of_o angel_n but_o of_o the_o seed_n of_o abraham_n he_o take_v hold_v first_o it_o be_v requisite_a he_o shall_v be_v man_n same_o nature_n that_o break_v the_o law_n to_o die_v and_o to_o bear_v the_o wrath_n of_o god_n 4._o he_o must_v be_v man_n that_o so_o he_o may_v sympathize_v with_o we_o or_o have_v a_o feel_n of_o our_o infirmity_n it_o must_v be_v such_o a_o nature_n of_o man_n that_o be_v clothe_v with_o infirmity_n which_o we_o have_v or_o be_v atttend_v with_o since_o the_o fall_n because_o he_o come_v to_o raise_v fall_v man_n now_o our_o infirmity_n be_v of_o two_o sort_n one_a penal_a and_o painful_a 2_o sinful_a and_o culpable_a infirmity_n it_o be_v the_o first_o of_o these_o christ_n do_v take_v faithful_a highpriest_n in_o thing_n pertain_v to_o god_n to_o make_v reconciliation_n for_o the_o sin_n of_o the_o people_n for_o in_o that_o he_o himself_o have_v suffer_v be_v tempt_v he_o be_v able_a to_o succour_v they_o that_o be_v tempt_v second_o it_o be_v necessary_a also_o that_o he_o shall_v be_v god._n 1._o that_o he_o may_v reach_v heaven_n god_n i_o mean_v the_o full_a demand_n of_o god_n justice_n by_o way_n of_o satisfaction_n a_o mere_a man_n can_v not_o satisfy_v infinite_a justice_n or_o make_v up_o that_o wrong_n our_o sin_n haâ—_n do_v to_o god_n but_o see_v both_o the_o nature_n in_o christ_n make_v but_o one_o person_n when_o christ_n die_v he_o that_o be_v true_o god_n die_v hence_o it_o be_v say_v 2d_o god_n purchase_v the_o church_n with_o his_o own_o blood_n which_o be_v a_o infinite_a satisfaction_n to_o divine_a justice_n have_v we_o all_o lie_v in_o hell_n for_o ever_o we_o can_v not_o have_v pay_v one_o farthing_n of_o that_o debt_n we_o owe_v to_o god_n and_o because_o we_o can_v not_o satisfy_v therefore_o must_v have_v suffer_v for_o ever_o 2._o that_o he_o may_v sustain_v in_o his_o body_n the_o wrath_n of_o god_n and_o severe_a punishment_n due_a to_o we_o for_o our_o sin_n for_o none_o but_o he_o that_o be_v god_n can_v bear_v so_o great_a a_o burden_n and_o heavy_a wrath_n as_o all_o the_o sin_n of_o the_o elect_a be_v and_o do_v incur_v suppose_v the_o sin_n but_o of_o one_o person_n and_o he_o be_v none_o of_o the_o great_a sinner_n neither_o yet_o if_o charge_v upon_o he_o will_v they_o not_o sink_v he_o down_o to_o hell_n oh_o what_o power_n what_o strength_n then_o save_o the_o strength_n of_o a_o infinite_a person_n can_v bear_v as_o well_o as_o satisfy_v for_o all_o the_o sin_n of_o so_o many_o thousand_o person_n even_o the_o whole_a number_n of_o god_n elect._n 3._o he_o must_v be_v god_n that_o he_o may_v be_v able_a to_o overcome_v all_o our_o enemy_n not_o only_o for_o we_o but_o also_o in_o we_o and_o preserve_v we_o from_o the_o great_a evil_n and_o bestow_v upon_o we_o the_o great_a good_a he_o must_v lay_v his_o hand_n upon_o both_o viz._n he_o must_v bring_v god_n down_o to_o
