our_o most_o humble_a and_o meek_a saviour_n contrariwise_o a_o true_a lover_n of_o god_n hate_v every_o vice_n as_o the_o adversary_n and_o enemy_n of_o god_n and_o the_o work_n of_o hate_v why_o vice_n be_v to_o be_v hate_v the_o devil_n therefore_o he_o hate_v a_o lie_n because_o the_o devil_n be_v a_o liar_n and_o consequent_o other_o sin_n because_o they_o be_v part_n of_o the_o devil_n and_o whosoever_o love_v sin_n as_o a_o lie_n and_o injustice_n this_o be_v a_o son_n of_o the_o devil_n as_o it_o be_v in_o john_n 8._o even_o as_o he_o that_o love_v christ_n our_o redeemer_n and_o saviour_n he_o also_o love_v the_o example_n of_o his_o most_o innocent_a life_n i_o say_v his_o meekness_n humility_n and_o patience_n he_o be_v the_o son_n of_o god_n but_o thou_o must_v remember_v that_o thou_o pray_v to_o god_n for_o this_o purity_n of_o love_n who_o certain_o willing_o and_o free_o through_o the_o love_n of_o christ_n do_v kindle_v it_o in_o thou_o if_o so_o thou_o incessant_o with_o daily_a prayer_n cease_v not_o to_o importune_v he_o and_o offer_v up_o thy_o heart_n unto_o he_o every_o hour_n and_o moment_n but_o if_o thy_o charity_n be_v can_v and_o weak_a so_o that_o sometime_o thou_o fail_v and_o fall_v go_v to_o rise_v again_o and_o go_v to_o work_v and_o renew_v thy_o charity_n be_v sure_o the_o eternal_a light_n of_o the_o divine_a love_n be_v not_o extinguish_v god_n our_o most_o gentle_a saviour_n will_v enlighten_v thou_o again_o which_o albeit_o it_o be_v so_o yet_o thou_o shall_v sever_v the_o charity_n of_o god_n and_o our_o neighbour_n can_v be_v sever_v pray_v unto_o god_n daily_o lest_o at_o any_o time_n hereafter_o he_o suffer_v the_o most_o bright_a fire_n of_o divine_a love_n to_o be_v extinguish_v and_o thus_o much_o of_o the_o charity_n from_o the_o heart_n purge_v from_o the_o love_n of_o the_o world_n and_o the_o creature_n let_v we_o see_v now_o the_o charity_n of_o our_o neighbour_n out_o of_o a_o pure_a conscience_n the_o charity_n of_o god_n and_o our_o neighbour_n be_v one_o and_o they_o can_v be_v sever_v neither_o be_v the_o love_n of_o god_n more_o manifest_a in_o any_o thing_n then_o by_o and_o in_o the_o love_n of_o our_o neighbour_n if_o any_o man_n say_v that_o he_o love_v god_n and_o hate_v his_o neighbour_n he_o be_v a_o liar_n for_o he_o that_o love_v not_o his_o brother_n who_o he_o see_v how_o can_v he_o love_v god_n who_o he_o see_v not_o and_o this_o be_v the_o commandment_n we_o have_v receive_v from_o god_n that_o he_o that_o love_v god_n shall_v love_v his_o brother_n also_o 1_o john_n 4._o for_o the_o love_n of_o god_n can_v dwell_v in_o the_o heart_n of_o a_o man-hater_n or_o hostile_a revengeful_a man_n whereupon_o if_o thou_o have_v no_o pity_n on_o thy_o brother_n and_o know_v that_o he_o have_v need_n of_o thy_o help_n how_o can_v thou_o love_v god_n that_o have_v no_o need_n of_o thy_o help_n as_o by_o faith_n we_o be_v unite_v to_o god_n so_o by_o charity_n we_o be_v to_o our_o neighbour_n join_v 1_o john_n 4._o he_o that_o abide_v in_o charity_n abide_v in_o god_n and_o god_n in_o he_o as_o a_o man_n consist_v of_o body_n and_o soul_n so_o faith_n and_o charity_n of_o god_n and_o our_o neighbour_n do_v make_v a_o true_a christian_a and_o see_v that_o god_n be_v well_o affect_v towards_o all_o man_n who_o be_v so_o indeed_o it_o follow_v that_o he_o be_v of_o one_o mind_n with_o god_n and_o so_o consent_v sinner_n it_o be_v the_o property_n of_o charity_n to_o bewail_v a_o sinner_n to_o he_o he_o that_o do_v contrary_a be_v adversary_n to_o god_n because_o he_o be_v a_o enemy_n to_o mankind_n furthermore_o it_o be_v the_o property_n of_o this_o charity_n to_o bewail_v humane_a error_n because_o they_o represent_v as_o in_o a_o glass_n our_o own_o proper_a defect_n and_o bring_v to_o our_o memory_n the_o most_o infirm_a condition_n of_o our_o humanity_n whereupon_o it_o follow_v that_o we_o be_v to_o bear_v the_o infirmity_n of_o our_o neighbour_n with_o patience_n humility_n and_o meekness_n true_o such_o as_o sin_v through_o want_n of_o strength_n weak_a we_o be_v to_o bear_v with_o the_o weak_a more_o than_o of_o purpose_n and_o whereof_o they_o soon_o recollect_v themselves_o do_v rebuke_n and_o punish_v themselves_o and_o do_v of_o themselves_o acknowledge_v their_o sin_n these_o true_o be_v to_o be_v pity_v and_o condole_v and_o do_v deserve_v pardon_n he_o that_o deni_v this_o sure_o have_v not_o the_o spirit_n of_o christ_n for_o to_o punish_v the_o fall_n and_o infirmity_n of_o our_o neighbour_n rash_o and_o with_o severe_a judgement_n without_o mercy_n or_o commiseration_n only_o be_v proper_a to_o he_o that_o be_v without_o the_o most_o merciful_a law_n of_o god_n the_o father_n son_n
