elect_v which_o faith_n be_v not_o man_n opinion_n and_o conceit_n as_o when_o they_o hear_v the_o story_n of_o the_o gospel_n and_o withal_o there_o follow_v no_o good_a work_n nor_o amendment_n of_o life_n though_o they_o hear_v yea_o and_o speak_v many_o thing_n of_o faith_n but_o a_o right_a faith_n be_v the_o gift_n of_o god_n as_o the_o apostle_n say_v and_o come_v from_o he_o and_o wrought_v by_o the_o holy_a ghost_n in_o we_o and_o change_v we_o turn_v we_o into_o a_o new_a nature_n and_o beget_v we_o a_o new_a in_o god_n as_o we_o may_v read_v in_o the_o first_o of_o john_n and_o kill_v the_o old_a man_n and_o make_v we_o altogether_o new_a in_o heart_n mind_n and_o will_v and_o in_o all_o our_o affection_n and_o power_n of_o the_o soul_n and_o bring_v the_o holy_a ghost_n with_o she_o this_o faith_n be_v a_o lively_a thing_n mighty_a in_o work_v valiant_a and_o strong_a ever_o do_v ever_o fruitful_a so_o that_o it_o be_v unpossble_a that_o he_o which_o be_v endue_v therewith_o shall_v not_o live_v a_o godly_a and_o a_o holy_a life_n and_o always_o bring_v forth_o fruit_n of_o good_a work_n such_o be_v his_o nature_n for_o quick_a faith_n in_o the_o heart_n and_o lively_o move_v of_o the_o spirit_n drive_v he_o and_o stir_v he_o thereunto_o i'faith_o than_o be_v a_o lively_a and_o a_o steadfast_a trust_n in_o the_o favour_n of_o god_n wherewith_o we_o commit_v ourselves_o altogether_o unto_o god_n and_o that_o trust_n be_v sure_o ground_v in_o our_o heart_n by_o the_o word_n of_o god_n that_o it_o can_v be_v remoove_v with_o any_o tribulation_n and_o such_o that_o we_o shall_v rejoice_v in_o any_o thing_n but_o in_o the_o cross_n of_o our_o lord_n jesus_n christ_n nay_o rather_o they_o be_v become_v our_o enemy_n because_o we_o believe_v in_o jesus_n must_v seal_v it_o with_o thy_o blood_n or_o else_o thou_o do_v not_o keep_v it_o but_o let_v it_o go_v well_o do_v paul_n put_v try_v before_o choose_v for_o he_o which_o tri_v may_v choose_v the_o best_a but_o he_o which_o choose_v before_o he_o try_v take_v oft_o the_o worst_a before_o the_o best_a now_o it_o follow_v in_o this_o last_o admonition_n abstain_v from_o all_o appearance_n of_o it_o be_v not_o enough_o to_o be_v persuade_v of_o our_o faith_n but_o we_o must_v be_v assure_v of_o it_o for_o religion_n be_v not_o build_v upon_o doubt_n but_o upon_o knowledge_n here_o we_o may_v marvel_v why_o paul_n bid_v we_o abstain_v from_o all_o appearance_n of_o evil_a because_o sin_n and_o heresy_n and_o superstition_n be_v hypocrisy_n that_o sin_n have_v the_o appearance_n of_o virtue_n and_o heresy_n have_v the_o appearance_n of_o truth_n and_o superstition_n have_v the_o appearance_n of_o religion_n but_o this_o the_o apostle_n do_v note_n that_o there_o be_v no_o sin_n nor_o heresy_n nor_o superstition_n but_o if_o the_o visor_n be_v take_v away_o from_o it_o it_o will_v appear_v to_o be_v sin_n and_o heresy_n and_o superstition_n though_o at_o the_o first_o sight_n the_o visor_n do_v make_v it_o seem_v none_o because_o it_o cover_v the_o evil_a like_o a_o paint_a sepulchre_n upon_o worm_n and_o rot_a bone_n therefore_o keep_v yourselves_o not_o only_o from_o do_v those_o thing_n which_o be_v evil_a but_o also_o from_o all_o appearance_n of_o evil_n offend_v not_o the_o conscience_n of_o thy_o brother_n that_o he_o may_v have_v no_o occasion_n to_o think_v evil_a of_o thou_o commit_v not_o adultery_n and_o withdraw_v thyself_o from_o the_o company_n of_o such_o unthrifty_a light_a and_o suspect_v person_n be_v not_o like_a to_o they_o that_o be_v such_o lay_v not_o out_o thy_o money_n to_o usury_n nor_o do_v any_o thing_n whereby_o other_o may_v think_v evil_a of_o thou_o beware_v of_o uncharitable_a conveyance_n of_o thy_o money_n be_v no_o error_n the_o king_n antiochus_n send_v to_o jerusalem_n and_o to_o the_o city_n of_o juda_n that_o they_o shall_v follow_v the_o strange_a law_n of_o the_o country_n many_o of_o they_o choose_v rather_o to_o die_v then_o to_o be_v defile_v with_o unclean_a thing_n and_o so_o to_o break_v the_o holy_a covenant_n which_o god_n give_v they_o machab._n 1_o therefore_o abstain_v from_o all_o
