example_n and_o promise_n by_o the_o which_o it_o be_v confirm_v that_o they_o shall_v not_o be_v in_o vain_a but_o the_o prayer_n of_o the_o dead_a be_v neither_o ground_v upon_o any_o testimony_n of_o god_n word_n neither_o upon_o promise_n nor_o example_n theoph._n say_v thou_o so_o matth._n i_o say_v it_o and_o therefore_o it_o be_v do_v of_o faith_n for_o the_o word_n of_o god_n be_v the_o unprofitable_a for_o they_o which_o be_v call_v by_o the_o late_a will_v not_o hear_v the_o voice_n of_o god_n or_o if_o they_o hear_v it_o yet_o refuse_v to_o draw_v near_o unto_o he_o or_o if_o they_o draw_v near_o it_o be_v with_o a_o double_a &_o a_o hypocritical_a heart_n and_o not_o long_o after_o they_o fall_v from_o he_o but_o they_o that_o be_v call_v with_o the_o other_o be_v lighten_v by_o the_o holy_a ghost_n so_o as_o the_o word_n of_o god_n enter_v into_o their_o heart_n they_o come_v unto_o god_n &_o follow_v he_o with_o obedience_n of_o faith_n and_o such_o kind_n of_o call_v as_o this_o be_v always_o join_v with_o election_n for_o it_o be_v the_o judge_n and_o declarer_fw-la of_o it_o theoph._n regeneration_n of_o regeneration_n but_o that_o effectual_a call_n seem_v to_o be_v nothing_o else_o but_o the_o regeneration_n which_o the_o holy_a ghost_n work_v in_o we_o whereof_o we_o have_v speak_v before_o mat._n thou_o say_v true_a for_o by_o it_o he_o open_v our_o ear_n to_o hear_v the_o voice_n of_o god_n that_o call_v us._n he_o lighten_v the_o eye_n of_o our_o mind_n to_o know_v he_o in_o christ_n sesus_fw-la he_o dispose_v our_o heart_n to_o believe_v his_o doctrine_n to_o embrace_v it_o confess_v it_o and_o follow_v it_o by_o true_a faith_n he_o confirm_v our_o will_n to_o love_v and_o fear_v he_o and_o so_o to_o keep_v ourselves_o in_o the_o reverence_n &_o worship_n of_o his_o majesty_n theoph._n therefore_o whosoever_o be_v assure_v of_o his_o effectual_a call_n by_o the_o fruit_n of_o regeneration_n he_o ought_v not_o to_o doubt_v of_o his_o election_n and_o salvation_n mat._n salvation_n of_o the_o assurance_n of_o salvation_n he_o ought_v not_o yea_o contrariwise_o he_o ought_v to_o be_v sure_a of_o it_o which_o also_o we_o profess_v in_o the_o last_o article_n of_o the_o creed_n when_o we_o say_v i_o believe_v the_o life_n everlasting_a for_o by_o it_o we_o not_o only_o understand_v the_o we_o believe_v there_o be_v a_o everlasting_a life_n but_o that_o we_o be_v assure_v that_o we_o ourselves_o shall_v one_o day_n be_v partaker_n of_o it_o and_o that_o article_n be_v set_v at_o the_o end_n of_o the_o creed_n as_o a_o necessary_a consequence_n of_o the_o thing_n go_v before_o but_o especial_o of_o the_o article_n concern_v the_o holy_a ghost_n for_o the_o which_o we_o have_v that_o assurance_n that_o also_o do_v the_o lord_n confirm_v unto_o we_o both_o by_o the_o ministry_n of_o the_o word_n whereby_o he_o assure_v the_o penitent_a of_o the_o forgiveness_n of_o their_o sin_n as_o also_o by_o the_o sacrament_n which_o be_v as_o seal_n and_o pledge_n of_o that_o love_n wherewith_o the_o father_n love_v we_o in_o christ_n theoph._n do_v not_o that_o assurance_n of_o our_o election_n and_o salvation_n which_o thou_o be_v about_o to_o persuade_v the_o faithful_a make_v they_o slothful_a to_o good_a work_n mat._n begin_v the_o assurance_n of_o salvation_n be_v cofirm_v by_o sanctification_n begin_v how_o can_v that_o be_v see_v it_o
