furthermore_o that_o teach_v the_o holy_a scripture_n either_o in_o the_o school_n with_o we_o or_o in_o the_o church_n hereunto_o i_o beseech_v you_o bend_v all_o your_o co●itations_n and_o all_o your_o endeavour_n namely_o that_o our_o sacred_a and_o divine_a study_n may_v prosper_v and_o flourish_v proceed_v to_o teach_v as_o you_o do_v diligent_o and_o faithful_o study_v for_o the_o maintenance_n of_o peace_n and_o tranquillity_n let_v we_o propound_v unto_o our_o hearer_n not_o idle_a question_n as_o touch_v vain_a and_o frivolous_a matter_n but_o as_o our_o hyperius_n always_o do_v those_o principle_n most_o chief_o of_o the_o doctrine_n of_o religion_n which_o shall_v be_v necessary_a to_o the_o conservation_n of_o the_o purity_n of_o faith_n and_o most_o profitable_a to_o the_o information_n of_o life_n and_o manner_n let_v we_o have_v no_o deal_n w●th_o unlucky_a contention_n whereby_o we_o see_v now_o some_o school_n to_o be_v most_o grievous_o batter_v and_o shake_v let_v this_o our_o school_n rest_n as_o by_o god_n grace_n it_o have_v already_o many_o year_n rest_v from_o importunate_a strive_n and_o brablemente_n let_v we_o follow_v alone_o in_o teach_v the_o chief_a point_n of_o religion_n the_o holy_a scripturesithe_a write_n i_o mean_v of_o the_o prophet_n and_o apostle_n let_v no_o man_n authority_n so_o prevail_v with_o we_o let_v no_o counsel_n be_v of_o such_o credit_n no_o patch_a writing_n of_o such_o force_n that_o we_o shall_v depart_v so_o much_o as_o a_o hear_v breadth_n either_o from_o the_o authority_n of_o the_o scripture_n or_o from_o the_o phrase_n of_o apostle_n or_o from_o the_o form_n of_o speak_v use_v by_o the_o holy_a ghost_n himself_o these_o mark_n let_v we_o prescribe_v unto_o ourselves_o as_o it_o be_v to_o am_z at_o let_v we_o keep_v we_o with_o in_o the_o compass_n of_o these_o bound_n for_o so_o yea_o so_o it_o will_v come_v to_o pass_v that_o we_o shall_v not_o be_v carry_v about_o hither_o &_o thither_o with_o the_o wind_n &_o vanity_n of_o every_o doctrine_n but_o shall_v ramayne_v constant_a in_o our_o profession_n and_o shall_v always_o from_o time_n to_o time_n keep_v a_o certain_a form_n of_o s●und_a doctrine_n and_o you_o also_o most_o diligent_a hearer_n you_o i_o say_v that_o be_v studious_a of_o the_o holy_a scripture_n i_o do_v not_o only_o exhort_v but_o also_o pray_v and_o beseech_v you_o weigh_v with_o yourselves_o the_o state_n of_o religion_n and_o the_o state_n of_o our_o church_n consider_v what_o peril_n hang_v over_o our_o head_n in_o these_o day_n by_o reason_n of_o the_o wickedness_n of_o our_o life_n and_o manner_n behold_v how_o many_o famous_a doctor_n and_o notable_a light_n of_o the_o church_n our_o almighty_a father_n have_v in_o a_o short_a space-taken_a from_o we_o all_o the_o most_o excellent_a teacher_n our_o heavenly_a father_n call_v out_o of_o this_o life_n by_o little_a and_o little_a home_n to_o himself_o many_o other_o neither_o so_o well_o learn_v neither_o such_o lover_n of_o peace_n &_o concord_n he_o leave_v still_o alive_a which_o be_v not_o so_o careful_a as_o touch_v the_o safety_n and_o preservation_n of_o the_o churches_n as_o they_o be_v for_o their_o own_o private_a authority_n and_o gain_n which_o seek_v not_o so_o much_o the_o peace_n leave_v unto_o we_o of_o christ_n as_o they_o do_v their_o own_o praise_n and_o glory_n though_o it_o be_v by_o fetch_v the_o lord_n sanctuary_n on_o fire_n and_o which_o if_o thy_o be_v not_o bridle_v by_o authority_n of_o godly_a magistrate_n will_v confound_v heaven_n and_o earth_n together_o consider_v i_o say_v and_o serious_o ponder_v all_o these_o thing_n
