that_o from_o and_o after_o the_o twenty_o five_o day_n of_o march_n 1682._o what_o to_o be_v omit_v in_o the_o declaration_n after_o the_o 25._o march_v 1682._o which_o shall_v be_v in_o the_o year_n of_o our_o lord_n god_n one_o thousand_o six_o hundred_o eighty_o two_o there_o shall_v be_v omit_v in_o the_o say_a declaration_n or_o acknowledgement_n so_o to_o be_v subscribe_v and_o read_v scotland_n ireland_n or_o into_o any_o of_o the_o isle_n belong_v to_o this_o kingdom_n transport_v what_o skin_n or_o hide_n tan_v may_v not_o be_v transport_v or_o to_o any_o part_n beyond_o the_o skin_n of_o any_o of_o the_o beast_n aforesaid_a of_o what_o kind_n or_o nature_n soever_o shall_v be_v buy_v only_o in_o the_o open_a and_o common_a fair_a or_o market_n use_v for_o the_o put_n of_o leather_n to_o sale_n and_o not_o in_o any_o house_n tanner_n yard_n shop_n or_o other_o place_n whatsoever_o on_o pain_n that_o such_o person_n or_o person_n that_o shall_v not_o according_o do_v or_o person_n shall_v be_v find_v guilty_a of_o the_o transportation_n of_o any_o leather_n or_o raw_a hide_n of_o any_o of_o the_o beast_n aforesaid_a except_v such_o calve-skin_n and_o shéep-skin_n dress_v without_o the_o wool_n as_o by_o law_n may_v be_v transport_v contrary_a to_o the_o provision_n of_o this_o act_n he_o shall_v from_o thenceforth_o be_v disable_v to_o trade_n or_o deal_v in_o leather_n for_o the_o future_a and_o shall_v for_o every_o such_o offence_n forfeit_v the_o sum_n of_o five_o hundred_o pound_n to_o be_v
and_o may_v free_o enter_v and_o go_v on_o board_n all_o and_o every_o such_o ship_n or_o vessel_n of_o war_n and_o bring_v from_o thence_o on_o shore_n into_o his_o majesty_n storehouse_n belong_v to_o the_o port_n where_o such_o ship_n shall_v be_v all_o good_n and_o merchandize_n prohibit_v or_o uncustomed_a which_o shall_v be_v find_v aboard_o any_o such_o ship_n as_o aforesaid_a and_o be_v it_o hereby_o also_o enact_v vessel_n the_o power_n of_o officer_n for_o manage_v the_o custom_n to_o enter_v and_o search_v ship_n and_o vessel_n that_o the_o say_a person_n or_o person_n which_o be_v or_o shall_v be_v appoint_v for_o manage_v the_o custom_n and_o officer_n of_o his_o majesty_n custom_n and_o their_o deputy_n be_v hereby_o authorize_v and_o enable_v to_o go_v and_o enter_v aboard_o any_o ship_n or_o vessel_n as_o well_o ship_n of_o war_n as_o merchant_n ship_n and_o from_o thence_o to_o bring_v on_o shore_n all_o good_n prohibit_v or_o uncustomed_a except_o jewel_n if_o parcel_n of_o fine_a good_n or_o other_o good_n which_o shall_v be_v find_v in_o cabin_n chest_n trunk_n or_o other_o small_a package_n or_o in_o any_o private_a or_o secret_a place_n in_o or_o out_o of_o the_o hold_v of_o the_o ship_n or_o vessel_n which_o may_v occasion_v a_o just_a suspicion_n that_o they_o be_v intend_v to_o be_v fraudulent_o convey_v away_o and_o all_o other_o sort_n of_o good_n whatsoever_o for_o which_o the_o duty_n of_o tonnage_n &_o poundage_n be_v not_o pay_v or_o compound_v for_o with_o in_o twenty_o day_n after_o the_o first_o entry_n of_o the_o ship_n to_o be_v put_v &_o remain_v in_o the_o storehouse_n aforesaid_a until_o his_o majesty_n duty_n thereupon_o be_v just_o satisfy_v unless_o the_o say_a person_n or_o person_n which_o be_v or_o shall_v be_v that_o in_o case_n clear_v good_n conceal_v in_o any_o ship_n after_o clear_v after_o the_o clear_n of_o any_o ship_n or_o vessel_n by_o the_o person_n or_o person_n which_o be_v or_o shall_v be_v appoint_v by_o his_o majesty_n for_o manage_v the_o custom_n or_o any_o their_o deputy_n and_o discharge_v the_o watchman_n or_o tidesman_n from_o attendance_n thereupon_o there_o shall_v be_v find_v on_o board_n such_o ship_n or_o vessel_n any_o good_n ware_n or_o merchandize_n which_o have_v be_v conceal_v from_o the_o knowledge_n of_o the_o say_a person_n or_o person_n which_o be_v or_o shall_v be_v so_o appoint_v to_o manage_v the_o custom_n and_o for_o which_o the_o custom_n subsidy_n and_o other_o duty_n due_a upon_o the_o importation_n thereof_o have_v not_o be_v pay_v than_o the_o
