out_o in_o judgement_n against_o thou_o o_o land_n of_o my_o nativity_n because_o of_o which_o my_o heart_n be_v even_o afflict_a within_o i_o for_o the_o sake_n of_o thy_o inhabitant_n and_o i_o be_o even_o press_v in_o spirit_n to_o declare_v unto_o thou_o thy_o abomination_n and_o wherein_o thy_o sin_n lie_v that_o have_v thus_o provoke_v the_o lord_n that_o if_o happy_o those_o within_o thy_o border_n who_o have_v not_o quite_o sin_v out_o their_o day_n may_v hear_v and_o fear_v and_o repent_v and_o find_v mercy_n at_o the_o hand_n of_o the_o lord_n that_o their_o tranquillity_n may_v be_v early_o and_o send_v they_o before_o the_o day_n of_o his_o judgement_n break_v forth_o and_o they_o proclaim_v in_o thy_o street_n god_n mighty_a day_n at_o hand_n and_o forewarn_v thy_o inhabitant_n both_o high_a and_o low_a great_a and_o small_a bond_n and_o free_a male_a and_o female_a ruler_n and_o people_n of_o the_o dreadful_a day_n of_o god_n judgement_n which_o be_v now_o begin_v to_o be_v reveal_v but_o they_o hearken_v not_o neither_o will_v they_o receive_v the_o council_n of_o wisdom_n that_o cry_v in_o thy_o street_n but_o despise_v all_o her_o reproof_n and_o although_o she_o have_v continue_v send_v her_o prophet_n and_o wise_a man_n unto_o this_o day_n yet_o hitherto_o they_o have_v not_o hearken_v nor_o regard_v but_o have_v go_v on_o in_o pride_n and_o presumption_n in_o persecution_n and_o cruelty_n and_o have_v nourish_v their_o heart_n as_o in_o a_o day_n of_o slaughter_n and_o give_v up_o themselves_o to_o follow_v pleasure_n and_o have_v walk_v in_o the_o lust_n and_o device_n of_o their_o own_o heart_n and_o as_o much_o as_o in_o they_o lie_v they_o have_v fulfil_v the_o desire_n of_o their_o own_o mind_n and_o live_v careless_o and_o wanton_o upon_o the_o earth_n as_o though_o there_o be_v no_o god_n therefore_o be_v thy_o judgement_n just_a from_o the_o hand_n of_o the_o lord_n and_o thy_o reward_n be_v the_o recompense_n of_o thy_o own_o do_n for_o thy_o iniquity_n have_v pull_v his_o judgement_n upon_o thou_o and_o thy_o sin_n have_v bring_v his_o plague_n and_o thou_o must_v confess_v that_o he_o be_v just_a in_o all_o his_o way_n and_o righteous_a in_o all_o his_o do_n for_o consider_v oh_o nation_n and_o let_v i_o expostulate_v the_o matter_n with_o thou_o a_o little_a and_o then_o judge_v thyself_o what_o reward_n thou_o be_v worthy_a of_o what_o can_v the_o lord_n have_v do_v for_o thou_o more_o than_o he_o have_v do_v or_o have_v he_o do_v so_o for_o another_o nation_n as_o for_o thou_o he_o have_v even_o fill_v thou_o with_o all_o manner_n of_o temporal_a blessing_n and_o benefit_n that_o the_o heart_n of_o thy_o inhabitant_n can_v desire_v corn_n and_o oil_n and_o wine_n in_o abundance_n have_v be_v bring_v into_o thou_o and_o all_o kind_n of_o necessary_n both_o for_o food_n and_o raiment_n have_v he_o cause_v to_o abound_v in_o thou_o that_o thy_o inhabitant_n may_v be_v feed_v and_o clothe_v and_o that_o want_n may_v not_o be_v unto_o any_o within_o thy_o border_n and_o also_o that_o thou_o may_v therein_o be_v a_o blessing_n unto_o other_o nation_n about_o thou_o but_o alas_o how_o have_v thou_o abuse_v his_o mercy_n even_o in_o these_o temporal_a thing_n and_o convert_v they_o unto_o another_o use_n then_o that_o for_o which_o they_o be_v ordain_v and_o give_v unto_o thou_o how_o have_v many_o of_o thy_o inhabitant_n spend_v much_o of_o their_o time_n to_o invent_v what_o to_o be_v clothe_v with_o and_o after_o what_o manner_n to_o be_v array_v in_o all_o kind_n of_o gorgeous_a apparel_n when_o other_o with_o all_o their_o care_n and_o industry_n can_v scarce_o get_v raiment_n to_o put_v on_o to_o cover_v their_o nakedness_n but_o have_v be_v even_o ready_a to_o starve_v for_o want_v and_o how_o have_v many_o be_v invent_v what_o to_o eat_v and_o drink_v &_o also_o make_v waste_n and_o havoc_n of_o god_n good_a creature_n while_o many_o age_a poor_a and_o feeble_a have_v be_v in_o want_n of_o bread_n to_o eat_v and_o in_o necessity_n of_o food_n convenient_a for_o the_o preservation_n of_o the_o natural_a health_n and_o in_o this_o their_o distress_a state_n and_o condition_n they_o have_v not_o have_v compassion_n on_o they_o nor_o commiserate_v their_o state_n but_o even_o vaunt_v over_o they_o as_o though_o they_o have_v not_o be_v their_o fellow_n creature_n and_o as_o though_o god_n have_v not_o appoint_v they_o to_o partake_v of_o the_o fruit_n of_o the_o creation_n and_o in_o these_o thing_n the_o mercy_n of_o god_n have_v be_v abuse_v and_o his_o creature_n have_v be_v convert_v to_o a_o wrong_a use_n and_o the_o lord_n love_n and_o goodness_n therein_o have_v be_v very_o evil_o requite_v by_o thou_o and_o will_v it_o not_o be_v very_o just_a if_o the_o lord_n send_v want_v and_o scarcity_n and_o famine_n instead_o of_o this_o great_a plenty_n among_o those_o who_o have_v thus_o evil_o requite_v the_o lord_n in_o abuse_v his_o mercy_n yes_o very_o for_o consider_v do_v not_o the_o sin_n of_o sodom_n abound_v in_o thou_o by_o which_o god_n be_v provoke_v to_o consume_v it_o yea_o and_o great_a sin_n than_o be_v charge_v upon_o sodom_n which_o be_v pride_n fullness_n of_o bread_n and_o abundance_n of_o idleness_n but_o oh_o nation_n thou_o have_v not_o be_v only_o find_v in_o these_o sin_n and_o yet_o they_o have_v abound_v in_o thou_o also_o as_o god_n faithful_a witness_n in_o the_o heart_n of_o thy_o inhabitant_n will_v testify_v but_o over_o and_o above_o all_o this_o many_o of_o thy_o inhabitant_n even_o those_o who_o ought_v to_o be_v example_n of_o chastity_n to_o other_o have_v give_v up_o themselves_o to_o whoredom_n and_o take_v delight_n therein_o as_o though_o it_o be_v a_o thing_n not_o forbid_v but_o allow_v of_o god_n but_o unto_o many_o of_o they_o it_o be_v happen_v and_o doubtless_o it_o will_v unto_o more_o according_a unto_o that_o say_n whoremonger_n and_o adulterer_n god_n will_v judge_v well_o but_o this_o be_v not_o all_o that_o i_o have_v to_o charge_v this_o nation_n guilty_a of_o for_o how_o do_v oath_n cause_v this_o land_n to_o mourn_v even_o near_o unto_o desolation_n and_o how_o be_v the_o heart_n of_o many_o of_o the_o inhabitant_n thereof_o harden_v and_o even_o sear_v as_o with_o a_o hot_a iron_n so_o that_o without_o any_o sense_n of_o the_o reproof_n of_o god_n witness_n in_o they_o they_o blaspheme_v the_o pure_a and_o worthy_a name_n of_o the_o holy_a lord_n god_n by_o curse_v swear_v rant_a and_o sport_v themselves_o in_o the_o day_n time_n in_o all_o kind_n of_o pastime_n as_o though_o they_o endeavour_v with_o all_o their_o force_n and_o may_v to_o draw_v one_o another_o as_o much_o as_o in_o they_o lie_v out_o of_o the_o fear_n of_o god_n and_o beside_o all_o this_o what_o lie_v and_o dissemble_v be_v there_o among_o thy_o inhabitant_n notwithstanding_o all_o their_o profession_n of_o a_o reform_a christian_n religion_n yet_o what_o cozen_v cheat_a and_o defraud_v one_o another_o be_v there_o within_o thy_o border_n and_o so_o treacherous_a have_v thy_o inhabitant_n be_v one_o towards_o another_o and_o such_o rot_a heartedness_n and_o double_a deal_n have_v they_o sound_v one_o in_o another_o that_o few_o of_o they_o dare_v trust_v one_o another_o again_o o_o how_o do_v drunkenness_n also_o abound_v in_o thou_o oh_o england_n and_o how_o be_v many_o house_n fill_v even_o night_n and_o day_n with_o riotous_a person_n spend_v and_o waste_v the_o creation_n upon_o their_o ungodly_a lust_n and_o assemble_v themselves_o together_o even_o great_a multitude_n to_o their_o invent_a stageplays_a and_o all_o kind_n of_o vanity_n and_o abomination_n when_o the_o people_n of_o the_o lord_n who_o fear_v his_o name_n be_v not_o suffer_v to_o meet_v peaceable_o together_o to_o wait_v upon_o god_n and_o to_o worship_v he_o but_o they_o must_v be_v thrust_v into_o prison_n or_o beat_v and_o abuse_v and_o knock_v down_o and_o by_o these_o thing_n have_v the_o lord_n be_v
provoke_v to_o visit_v thou_o with_o these_o his_o just_a and_o sore_a judgement_n oh_o england_n england_n what_o lamentation_n shall_v i_o take_v up_o for_o thou_o for_o who_o the_o lord_n have_v do_v so_o great_a thing_n not_o only_o in_o give_v of_o thou_o such_o fullness_n of_o temporal_a blessing_n and_o benefit_n for_o the_o end_n before_o express_v which_o thou_o have_v abuse_v as_o herein_o be_v signify_v but_o over_o and_o above_o all_o this_o he_o manifest_v his_o eternal_a power_n in_o the_o midst_n of_o thou_o and_o thereby_o wrought_v miraculous_o in_o the_o heart_n of_o a_o remnant_n of_o thy_o inhabitant_n to_o who_o he_o make_v know_v the_o mysterious_a way_n which_o the_o vulturous_a eye_n never_o see_v which_o lead_v to_o life_n and_o salvation_n and_o who_o he_o make_v choice_n of_o to_o be_v a_o kind_n of_o first_o fruit_n unto_o himself_o in_o these_o latter_a day_n and_o who_o he_o separate_v from_o the_o aforesaid_a abomination_n in_o which_o thou_o be_v yet_o involve_v and_o raise_v they_o up_o to_o be_v example_n of_o holiness_n and_o righteousness_n and_o godliness_n of_o conversation_n and_o to_o bear_v testimony_n and_o cry_v against_o thy_o unrighteous_a and_o ungodly_a way_n and_o also_o put_v into_o their_o heart_n by_o his_o spirit_n to_o tell_v of_o his_o power_n which_o he_o have_v reveal_v in_o they_o and_o to_o proclaim_v his_o mighty_a day_n at_o hand_n in_o which_o he_o will_v judge_v the_o inhabitant_n of_o the_o land_n in_o righteousness_n and_o also_o he_o warn_v we_o to_o warn_v thy_o inhabitant_n to_o repent_v and_o we_o cry_v aloud_o in_o thy_o street_n in_o thy_o steeple_n house_n and_o in_o thy_o market_n as_o thy_o inhabitant_n well_o know_v and_o we_o tell_v they_o of_o the_o dreadful_a day_n of_o god_n judgement_n at_o hand_n to_o come_v upon_o all_o who_o live_v and_z continue_v in_o the_o aforesaid_a abomination_n that_o so_o they_o may_v have_v return_v to_o the_o lord_n and_o have_v come_v to_o walk_v in_o the_o light_n of_o his_o son_n wherewith_o they_o be_v enlighten_v that_o so_o thereby_o they_o may_v have_v be_v lead_v out_o of_o the_o aforesaid_a abomination_n and_o work_v of_o darkness_n and_o so_o have_v escape_v the_o judgement_n threaten_v but_o instead_o of_o harken_v to_o the_o voice_n of_o wisdom_n which_o cry_v in_o the_o street_n thy_o inhabitant_n reject_v her_o counsel_n and_o despise_v all_o her_o reproof_n and_o despiteful_o use_v the_o messenger_n of_o the_o lord_n who_o he_o send_v unto_o thou_o and_o cast_v they_o into_o holes_n and_o prison_n in_o which_o they_o have_v outward_o perish_v who_o righteous_a blood_n yet_o lie_v at_o thy_o door_n which_o god_n will_v certain_o take_v vengeance_n for_o and_o so_o far_o have_v thou_o be_v o_o england_n from_o take_v warn_v or_o example_n by_o those_o who_o god_n thus_o raise_v up_o within_o thy_o border_n and_o send_v to_o warn_v thou_o that_o even_o thy_o ruler_n with_o the_o advice_n and_o counsel_n of_o thy_o chief_a priest_n and_o prophet_n have_v make_v divers_a law_n and_o decree_n by_o which_o they_o have_v endeavour_v to_o stop_v and_o limit_v this_o work_n of_o the_o almighty_a which_o by_o his_o mighty_a power_n he_o have_v begin_v in_o the_o heart_n of_o his_o remnant_n which_o he_o have_v raise_v up_o to_o be_v a_o peculiar_a people_n unto_o himself_o within_o thy_o border_n and_o as_o though_o all_o thy_o aforesaid_a abomination_n be_v too_o little_a and_o that_o thou_o may_v yet_o add_v thereunto_o how_o have_v thy_o ruler_n abuse_v the_o power_n which_o god_n commit_v to_o they_o and_o entrust_v they_o withal_o in_o tolerate_v all_o those_o licentious_a practice_n which_o daily_o have_v abound_v in_o thy_o street_n and_o in_o suffer_v the_o wicked_a and_o evil-doer_n to_o go_v unpunished_a and_o in_o turn_v their_o sword_n against_o the_o innocent_a and_o to_o persecute_v the_o harmless_a people_n of_o the_o lord_n for_o the_o exercise_n of_o their_o pure_a conscience_n towards_o he_o in_o matter_n relate_v to_o his_o worship_n and_o in_o take_v upon_o they_o to_o lord_n over_o the_o conscience_n of_o man_n the_o seat_n of_o god_n have_v they_o not_o herein_o great_o abuse_v the_o power_n commit_v to_o they_o and_o intrude_v into_o the_o prerogative_n of_o god_n oh_o great_a presumption_n and_o usurpation_n indeed_o a_o sin_n which_o shall_v not_o go_v unpunished_a by_o the_o judge_n but_o oh_o that_o they_o have_v hearken_v and_o take_v warn_v in_o time_n that_o so_o they_o may_v have_v be_v heal_v but_o now_o it_o will_v go_v we_o who_o god_n raise_v up_o in_o the_o midst_n of_o thou_o oh_o england_n to_o bear_v testimony_n unto_o his_o name_n and_o against_o thy_o traditional_a worship_n and_o dead_a form_n and_o outside_n profession_n with_o the_o rest_n of_o thy_o abomination_n even_o by_o reason_n of_o the_o law_n and_o decree_n which_o thy_o ruler_n have_v make_v against_o we_o and_o sometime_o without_o they_o also_o and_o how_o oft_o have_v we_o be_v thrust_v together_o into_o noisome_a prison_n and_o have_v suffer_v all_o kind_n of_o abuse_n as_o sock_v stoning_n whip_v knock_v down_o some_o kill_v in_o the_o street_n and_o steeple-house_n and_o in_o our_o peaceable_a meeting_n where_o we_o be_v gather_v only_o to_o worship_n god_n in_o spirit_n and_o thus_o evil_o have_v thou_o requite_v the_o lord_n and_o his_o people_n for_o his_o and_o their_o love_n and_o good_a will_n unto_o thou_o that_o thou_o have_v account_v they_o not_o worthy_a to_o have_v a_o be_v within_o thy_o border_n but_o in_o thy_o decree_n make_v against_o they_o thou_o have_v design_v their_o exilement_n and_o extirpation_n from_o among_o thy_o inhabitant_n although_o according_a to_o the_o law_n of_o god_n and_o nature_n we_o and_z those_o who_o thy_o ruler_n have_v already_o banish_v and_o expose_v to_o the_o hardship_n and_o difficulty_n which_o the_o sea_n and_o foreign_a country_n afford_v have_v as_o just_a a_o right_a as_o themselves_o here_o to_o have_v continue_v in_o the_o land_n of_o our_o nativity_n and_o to_o have_v enjoy_v the_o liberty_n of_o their_o conscience_n in_o the_o service_n and_o worship_n of_o god_n together_o with_o all_o other_o temporal_a benefit_n and_o comfort_n which_o god_n have_v afford_v unto_o they_o as_o wife_n child_n and_o estate_n etc._n etc._n and_o thy_o ruler_n shall_v one_o day_n know_v that_o it_o be_v as_o great_a unrighteousness_n in_o they_o to_o prison_n persecute_v and_o banish_v we_o for_o the_o exercise_n of_o our_o conscience_n towards_o god_n as_o they_o can_v conceive_v it_o will_v be_v for_o other_o to_o prison_n banish_v and_o persecute_v they_o for_o the_o exercise_n of_o their_o conscience_n if_o the_o lord_n shall_v bring_v they_o under_o wherefore_o let_v they_o consider_v whether_o or_o no_o they_o do_v by_o we_o as_o themselves_o will_v be_v do_v by_o and_o whether_o they_o be_v not_o find_v transgressor_n of_o the_o law_n of_o christ_n well_o but_o all_o this_o be_v but_o as_o a_o hint_n of_o what_o may_v be_v mention_v of_o the_o abomination_n that_o be_v find_v in_o thou_o oh_o england_n yet_o hereby_o thou_o may_v perceive_v whether_o or_o no_o thy_o sin_n do_v not_o exceed_v the_o sin_n of_o sodom_n who_o god_n destroy_v in_o his_o displeasure_n and_o whether_o thy_o iniquity_n do_v not_o surmount_v what_o then_o can_v thou_o expect_v from_o the_o hand_n of_o the_o lord_n as_o a_o just_a reward_n of_o all_o these_o thy_o abomination_n sure_o thou_o can_v not_o miss_v of_o all_o the_o judgement_n that_o have_v be_v pronounce_v by_o the_o spirit_n of_o the_o lord_n through_o his_o servant_n in_o thy_o street_n steeple-house_n and_o market_n and_o to_o thy_o ruler_n both_o by_o word_n and_o write_v for_o they_o must_v and_o will_v unavoidable_o come_v upon_o thou_o and_o then_o thou_o shall_v know_v that_o the_o lord_n speak_v by_o his_o servant_n who_o thou_o slight_v and_o that_o the_o most_o high_a rule_n in_o the_o kingdom_n of_o man_n and_o will_v execute_v justice_n and_o judgement_n and_o righteousness_n in_o the_o earth_n and_o then_o also_o thou_o shall_v know_v and_o confess_v that_o god_n give_v thou_o time_n to_o repent_v and_o to_o put_v away_o the_o evil_a of_o thy_o do_n from_o before_o he_o

it_o may_v not_o prove_v so_o which_o i_o have_v cause_n to_o believe_v it_o will_v that_o he_o have_v give_v permission_n to_o the_o lie_a spirit_n to_o go_v in_o the_o mouth_n of_o thy_o priest_n and_o prophet_n to_o persuade_v thy_o ruler_n to_o go_v on_o in_o this_o antichristian_a work_n of_o persecute_v the_o innocent_a and_o harmless_a people_n of_o the_o lord_n thereby_o to_o fill_v up_o the_o measure_n of_o their_o father_n iniquity_n that_o so_o he_o may_v be_v avenge_v on_o they_o but_o oh_o that_o thy_o ruler_n have_v hearken_v unto_o the_o counsel_n of_o those_o who_o god_n send_v unto_o they_o who_o come_v not_o for_o filthy_a lucre_n nor_o with_o flatter_a speech_n but_o in_o the_o name_n of_o the_o lord_n declare_v his_o counsel_n in_o plainness_n and_o faithfulness_n for_o thy_o good_a but_o alas_o instead_o of_o hear_v their_o counsel_n they_o have_v do_v unto_o they_o as_o ahab_n do_v unto_o micaiah_n even_o put_v they_o in_o prison_n and_o feed_v they_o with_o the_o bread_n and_o water_n of_o affliction_n and_o thereby_o they_o have_v provoke_v the_o lord_n of_o host_n so_o that_o without_o all_o controversy_n as_o i_o say_v before_o if_o thy_o ruler_n persist_v and_o go_v on_o follow_v the_o counsel_n of_o those_o false_a prophet_n into_o who_o mouth_n the_o lie_a spirit_n be_v enter_v to_o persuade_v they_o that_o the_o way_n to_o remove_v or_o stop_v the_o present_a visitation_n of_o god_n judgement_n which_o be_v reveal_v in_o the_o midst_n of_o thou_o be_v to_o be_v severe_a in_o persecute_v and_o banish_v his_o despise_a and_o harmless_a people_n out_o of_o thy_o border_n i_o say_v if_o their_o counsel_n be_v hearken_v unto_o and_o obey_v therein_o that_o lie_a spirit_n will_v certain_o thereby_o prevail_v and_o will_v cause_v they_o know_v that_o thou_o be_v a_o rebellious_a nation_n against_o the_o lord_n yet_o my_o bowel_n so_o yearn_v towards_o those_o of_o thy_o inhabitant_n who_o have_v not_o quite_o sin_v out_o their_o day_n that_o i_o can_v but_o strive_v with_o they_o a_o little_a in_o represent_v these_o thing_n to_o their_o consideration_n that_o such_o who_o have_v any_o tenderness_n leave_v in_o they_o may_v repent_v with_o speed_n and_o turn_v to_o the_o lord_n with_o all_o their_o heart_n not_o feign_o but_o in_o sincerity_n that_o so_o they_o may_v find_v a_o hide_v place_n in_o he_o from_o the_o wrath_n to_o come_v and_o that_o they_o may_v understand_v the_o cause_n wherefore_o the_o lord_n hand_n be_v stretch_v out_o against_o thou_o in_o judgement_n oh_o nation_n sure_o all_o who_o be_v prudent_a in_o spirit_n can_v but_o confess_v and_o acknowledge_v that_o these_o thing_n before_o mention_v be_v the_o very_a cause_n of_o the_o present_a visitation_n that_o be_v upon_o thou_o and_o also_o of_o the_o future_a judgement_n which_o be_v threaten_v for_o these_o be_v but_o the_o begin_n of_o thy_o sorrow_n which_o it_o to_o come_v upon_o thou_o because_o thou_o repent_v not_o of_o thy_o evil_a deed_n well_o but_o some_o it_o may_v be_v will_v say_v what_o and_o where_o have_v be_v the_o cause_n that_o all_o these_o abomination_n have_v thus_o abound_v and_o be_v continue_v in_o thou_o see_v thou_o have_v have_v such_o a_o large_a profession_n of_o a_o reform_a christian_a religion_n to_o who_o i_o say_v search_v and_o examine_v whether_o or_o no_o the_o main_a ground_n and_o cause_n be_v not_o find_v in_o thy_o teacher_n and_o leader_n for_o have_v they_o not_o cause_v thou_o to_o err_v and_o have_v they_o not_o strengthen_v the_o hand_n of_o the_o worker_n of_o iniquity_n so_o that_o none_o can_v turn_v from_o the_o evil_a of_o his_o way_n by_o promise_v of_o he_o life_n and_o may_v not_o i_o say_v of_o thy_o teacher_n oh_o england_n as_o the_o prophet_n of_o the_o lord_n say_v of_o the_o false_a prophet_n in_o his_o day_n viz._n from_o the_o prophet_n of_o israel_n be_v profaneness_n go_v forth_o into_o all_o the_o earth_n for_o have_v not_o they_o leader_n be_v evil_a example_n unto_o thou_o of_o profaneness_n of_o drunkenness_n and_o whoredom_n many_o of_o they_o and_o universal_o of_o covetousness_n which_o be_v idolatry_n for_o most_o or_o all_o must_v needs_o see_v that_o their_o heart_n be_v go_v after_o covetous_a practice_n and_o by_o their_o lie_n against_o the_o people_n of_o god_n and_o by_o their_o lightness_n they_o have_v cause_v the_o people_n to_o err_v from_o the_o right_a way_n and_o have_v lead_v they_o into_o rebellion_n against_o the_o light_n of_o the_o son_n of_o god_n wherewith_o they_o be_v enlighten_v which_o will_v have_v lead_v they_o out_o of_o the_o dark_a path_n of_o ignorance_n and_o work_n of_o iniquity_n under_o pretence_n that_o it_o be_v a_o dangerous_a principle_n to_o be_v adhere_v unto_o and_o that_o it_o be_v not_o sufficient_a to_o lead_v out_o of_o sin_n nor_o to_o save_v from_o sin_n when_o indeed_o there_o be_v none_o other_o name_n give_v under_o heaven_n whereby_o man_n can_v be_v save_v from_o sin_n but_o the_o name_n of_o jesus_n who_o preach_v himself_o the_o light_n of_o the_o world_n and_o who_o light_v every_o man_n that_o come_v into_o the_o world_n and_o who_o free_a grace_n that_o bring_v salvation_n have_v appear_v unto_o all_o man_n so_o that_o all_o who_o turn_v from_o this_o grace_n of_o god_n which_o teach_v we_o to_o live_v sober_o and_o righteous_o and_o godly_a in_o this_o present_a evil_a world_n such_o turn_n from_o the_o right_a way_n and_o all_o who_o rebel_n against_o this_o light_n wherewith_o they_o be_v enlighten_v they_o know_v not_o the_o way_n thereof_o as_o job_n say_v and_o so_o they_o be_v stranger_n to_o the_o good_a and_o right_a way_n which_o be_v christ_n who_o light_v every_o man_n that_o come_v into_o the_o world_n and_o be_v not_o this_o light_n or_o spirit_n of_o grace_n in_o the_o inward_a part_n the_o very_a thing_n that_o thy_o leader_n have_v long_o persuade_v thou_o against_o that_o thou_o shall_v not_o incline_v or_o adhere_v thereunto_o under_o pretence_n as_o aforesaid_a and_o so_o be_v like_a unto_o they_o who_o christ_n say_v do_v shut_v the_o kingdom_n of_o heaven_n against_o man_n who_o will_v neither_o enter_v in_o themselves_o and_o they_o that_o will_v enter_v they_o hinder_v and_o although_o they_o have_v in_o pretence_n make_v large_a prayer_n against_o sin_n and_o iniquity_n and_o seem_v to_o preach_v against_o it_o likewise_o yet_o they_o have_v indeed_o tell_v thou_o thou_o can_v not_o be_v wash_v or_o free_v from_o sin_n while_o here_o on_o earth_n and_o so_o have_v deny_v the_o very_a work_n of_o the_o ministry_n which_o be_v for_o the_o perfect_a of_o the_o saint_n for_o the_o apostle_n labour_v that_o he_o may_v present_v every_o man_n perfect_a in_o christ_n and_o have_v they_o not_o hereby_o strengthen_v the_o hand_n of_o the_o worker_n of_o iniquity_n even_o by_o beget_v a_o belief_n in_o they_o that_o they_o can_v turn_v from_o the_o evil_n of_o their_o way_n so_o as_o to_o be_v set_v free_a from_o their_o evil_a deed_n and_o yet_o they_o promise_v they_o life_n hereafter_o but_o be_v not_o deceive_v with_o good_a word_n and_o fair_a speech_n for_o god_n will_v not_o be_v mock_v with_o a_o outside_n profession_n for_o if_o you_o live_v after_o the_o flesh_n you_o shall_v die_v for_o the_o wage_n of_o sin_n be_v death_n but_o the_o gift_n of_o the_o spirit_n of_o god_n be_v eternal_a life_n through_o christ_n our_o lord_n unto_o all_o they_o that_o receive_v and_o obey_v it_o again_o have_v not_o thy_o leader_n be_v the_o great_a stirrer_n up_o of_o thy_o ruler_n to_o persecute_v the_o harmless_a people_n of_o the_o lord_n who_o he_o have_v raise_v up_o by_o his_o power_n to_o trust_v in_o his_o name_n and_o to_o bear_v witness_n for_o he_o and_o to_o testify_v against_o thy_o abomination_n have_v they_o not_o move_v thy_o ruler_n and_o magistrate_n to_o make_v law_n and_o to_o put_v they_o in_o execution_n as_o aforesaid_a against_o we_o consider_v this_o oh_o nation_n what_o a_o bloodthirsty_a generation_n of_o covetous_a hireling_n thou_o have_v nourish_v within_o thy_o bowel_n may_v i_o not_o say_v of_o they_o as_o hosea_n say_v of_o the_o priest_n in_o his_o day_n viz._n as_o troop_n of_o rober_n wait_v for_o a_o man_n so_o the_o company_n of_o priest_n murder_n in_o the_o way_n by_o consent_n for_o have_v they_o not_o be_v even_o unanimous_a in_o this_o work_n of_o persecution_n how_o many_o have_v they_o murder_v in_o the_o way_n of_o cain_n which_o they_o be_v in_o by_o consent_n in_o cast_v of_o they_o into_o prison_n for_o their_o filthy_a lukers_n sake_n and_o how_o have_v they_o provoke_v and_o stir_v up_o thy_o ruler_n and_o people_n to_o the_o same_o work_n and_o even_o make_v they_o their_o vassal_n to_o fulfil_v their_o envious_a will_n so_o that_o all_o these_o thing_n be_v consider_v with_o many_o more_o which_o may_v be_v mention_v have_v we_o not_o just_a cause_n to_o attribute_v the_o main_a ground_n of_o thy_o continue_v in_o these_o so_o gross_a abomination_n unto_o these_o covetous_a hireling_n and_o filthy_a dreamer_n that_o defile_v the_o flesh_n i_o confess_v i_o can_v but_o believe_v that_o there_o be_v multitude_n of_o thousand_o within_o thy_o border_n oh_o england_n that_o see_v their_o folly_n and_o madness_n and_o their_o unstableness_n and_o how_o they_o toss_v up_o and_o down_o and_o be_v drive_v about_o with_o every_o tempest_n that_o arise_v even_o as_o cloud_n without_o rain_n as_o their_o predecessor_n be_v who_o the_o apostle_n speak_v of_o and_o see_v come_v in_o his_o day_n who_o go_v in_o cain_n way_n of_o persecution_n and_o murder_n and_o be_v wander_a star_n for_o who_o be_v reserve_v the_o blackness_n of_o darkness_n for_o ever_o for_o have_v not_o the_o unstabillity_n of_o these_o
man_n their_o wander_a and_o toss_n to_o and_o fro_o with_o every_o wind_n or_o tempest_n that_o have_v arise_v in_o this_o nation_n be_v evident_o enough_o see_v in_o this_o our_o generation_n yea_o sure_o all_o who_o be_v not_o wilful_o blind_a can_v but_o perceive_v how_o not_o long_o since_o they_o preach_v up_o the_o common-prayer-book_n seem_o with_o a_o great_a zeal_n as_o though_o salvation_n be_v not_o to_o be_v attain_v without_o conformity_n thereunto_o but_o no_o soon_o do_v the_o windy_a tempest_n arise_v which_o blow_v that_o away_o and_o the_o then_o power_n of_o the_o nation_n by_o who_o it_o be_v uphold_v and_o which_o these_o man_n swear_v for_o and_o pray_v for_o &c_n &c_n come_v to_o be_v subdue_v and_o the_o church_n faith_n and_o directory_n come_v to_o be_v set_v up_o in_o its_o stead_n but_o present_o they_o be_v turn_v or_o drive_v about_o with_o the_o tempest_n and_o wander_v from_o the_o comnon-prayer-book_n and_o swear_v against_o the_o king_n and_o house_n of_o lord_n by_o who_o it_o be_v uphold_v and_o who_o before_o they_o pray_v and_o swear_v for_o and_o begin_v to_o swear_v for_o the_o commonwealth_n and_o to_o preach_v up_o the_o church_n faith_n and_o directory_n with_o as_o much_o seem_a zeal_n as_o before_o they_o have_v do_v the_o other_o and_o now_o again_o since_o the_o tempest_n have_v rise_v and_o the_o wind_n have_v blow_v another_o way_n and_o their_o church_n faith_n of_o which_o christ_n be_v not_o the_o author_n and_o directory_n have_v fall_v thereby_o and_o the_o common-prayer-book_n again_o set_v up_o in_o its_o old_a place_n they_o be_v persent_o wander_v back_o again_o to_o that_o and_o drive_v about_o thither_o preach_v of_o it_o up_o and_o pray_v and_o swear_v for_o king_n and_o house_n of_o lord_n who_o they_o former_o preach_v and_o pray_v and_o swear_v against_o and_o these_o thing_n they_o do_v with_o as_o impudent_a face_n many_o of_o they_o as_o though_o they_o have_v never_o vary_v from_o it_o oh_o hypocritical_a treacherous_a deceitful_a heart_a generation_n who_o shall_v believe_v they_o to_o be_v messenger_n or_o minister_n of_o god_n that_o have_v no_o more_o stability_n with_o they_o true_o their_o very_a action_n in_o turn_v and_o toss_v and_o wander_v to_o and_o fro_o have_v sufficient_o declare_v they_o to_o be_v without_o any_o true_a foundation_n and_o who_o shall_v conside_fw-la in_o they_o for_o the_o time_n to_o come_v that_o be_v so_o variable_a have_v we_o not_o ground_n to_o believe_v that_o they_o will_v turn_v to_o the_o old_a mass_n or_o to_o the_o turk_n alcharon_n or_o any_o thing_n that_o the_o power_n of_o the_o nation_n shall_v countenance_v sure_o they_o who_o believe_v better_o than_o so_o of_o they_o will_v be_v deceive_v by_o many_o or_o most_o of_o they_o as_o many_o have_v be_v already_o in_o time_n past_a for_o although_o they_o feign_o appear_v as_o such_o who_o shall_v take_v care_n and_o watch_v for_o the_o soul_n yet_o we_o experimental_o see_v that_o they_o seek_v for_o their_o own_o gain_n and_o indeed_o they_o serve_v not_o the_o lord_n jesus_n christ_n but_o their_o own_o belly_n for_o their_o fruit_n declare_v that_o they_o will_v murder_n as_o they_o have_v do_v many_o for_o their_o belly_n and_o although_o they_o flatter_v with_o the_o king_n and_o thy_o ruler_n oh_o england_n as_o though_o they_o seek_v and_o study_v their_o welfare_n and_o safety_n and_o will_v counsel_v they_o for_o their_o establishment_n and_o security_n yet_o they_o be_v a_o treacherous_a generation_n and_o it_o be_v not_o safe_a for_o the_o king_n to_o trust_v then_o for_o they_o have_v a_o end_n unto_o themselves_o in_o most_o or_o all_o that_o they_o do_v and_o their_o own_o interest_n be_v concern_v in_o most_o of_o their_o erterprise_n for_o they_o be_v lover_n of_o their_o own_o self_n and_o of_o pleasure_n more_o than_o of_o god_n as_o the_o king_n and_o his_o council_n may_v easy_o see_v if_o they_o consider_v it_o and_o take_v a_o inspection_n into_o it_o and_o let_v i_o tell_v the_o king_n and_o his_o council_n this_o by_o the_o way_n together_o with_o the_o rest_n of_o thy_o ruler_n oh_o england_n that_o if_o they_o harken_v to_o the_o counsel_n of_o these_o self-seeking_a and_o time_n servingman_n who_o be_v wander_v star_n and_o cloud_n drive_v with_o tempest_n as_o afore_o be_v declare_v i_o say_v if_o they_o follow_v these_o blind_a guide_n and_o hearken_v to_o their_o counsel_n so_o as_o to_o be_v sway_v by_o they_o and_o become_v their_o vassal_n to_o fulfil_v their_o bloodthirsty_a desire_n in_o prosecute_a banish_v and_o make_v havoc_n of_o the_o people_n of_o god_n then_o in_o the_o end_n they_o will_v certain_o fall_v into_o the_o ditch_n of_o everlasting_a destruction_n and_o perpetual_a shame_n and_o contempt_n out_o of_o which_o there_o be_v no_o recovery_n and_o then_o shall_v they_o know_v that_o god_n have_v speak_v by_o i_o and_o that_o a_o prophet_n of_o the_o lord_n have_v be_v among_o they_o wherefore_o oh_o nation_n and_o you_o inhabitant_n thereof_o let_v my_o counsel_n be_v acceptable_a unto_o you_o at_o this_o time_n that_o if_o possible_a so_o many_o of_o you_o who_o have_v not_o quite_o sin_v out_o your_o day_n and_o have_v yet_o any_o tenderness_n of_o heart_n leave_v in_o you_o towards_o god_n may_v come_v to_o find_v a_o hiding-place_n from_o the_o wrath_n to_o come_v for_o if_o the_o aforesaid_a cry_a sin_n and_o abomination_n which_o your_o teacher_n be_v a_o great_a cause_n of_o as_o afore-shewed_a be_v continue_v in_o then_o utter_a destruction_n and_o desolation_n must_v and_o will_v unavoidable_o come_v upon_o you_o wherefore_o harken_v not_o to_o they_o who_o tell_v you_o that_o you_o can_v be_v make_v free_a from_o sin_n while_o you_o remain_v in_o this_o body_n but_o harken_v to_o the_o voice_n of_o god_n who_o be_v light_n and_o who_o search_v your_o heart_n and_o declare_v the_o secret_n thereof_o unto_o you_o by_o his_o faithful_a and_o true_a witness_n which_o he_o have_v place_v in_o your_o conscience_n and_o which_o call_v out_o of_o sin_n and_o transgression_n for_o if_o you_o be_v in_o the_o light_n and_o walk_v in_o the_o light_n wherewith_o you_o be_v enlighten_v the_o blood_n of_o jesus_n christ_n will_v cleanse_v you_o from_o all_o sin_n and_o wash_v you_o from_o all_o iniquity_n as_o the_o apostle_n testify_v neither_o lend_v a_o ear_n to_o they_o who_o stir_v you_o up_o to_o persecute_v the_o innocent_a for_o the_o exercise_n of_o their_o conscience_n towards_o god_n in_o his_o worship_n for_o they_o cause_v you_o to_o err_v and_o to_o transgress_v the_o royal_a law_n of_o god_n which_o say_v whatsoever_o you_o will_v that_o man_n shall_v do_v unto_o you_o even_o so_o do_v you_o unto_o they_o and_o thereby_o you_o will_v purchase_v the_o displeasure_n of_o the_o lord_n against_o yourselves_o as_o many_o have_v already_o do_v which_o will_v not_o easy_o be_v appease_v wherefore_o save_o yourselves_o from_o this_o untoward_a generation_n of_o false_a prophet_n who_o cause_n you_o to_o err_v and_o who_o make_v a_o prey_n upon_o you_o and_o come_v out_o from_o among_o they_o and_o be_v separate_a from_o they_o and_o touch_v not_o the_o unclean_a thing_n or_o any_o thing_n whatsoever_o that_o will_v defile_v the_o conscience_n but_o break_v off_o your_o sin_n and_o all_o kind_n of_o iniquity_n by_o speedy_a repentance_n and_o by_o true_a submission_n to_o god_n faithful_a witness_n his_o spirit_n of_o grace_n in_o your_o inward_a part_n which_o will_v teach_v you_o as_o it_o do_v the_o saint_n of_o old_a and_o as_o it_o do_v we_o that_o deny_v ungodliness_n and_o worldly_a lust_n you_o shall_v live_v sober_o righteous_o and_o godly_a in_o this_o present_a world_n for_o there_o be_v not_o another_o way_n to_o escape_v the_o righteous_a and_o dreadful_a judgement_n of_o the_o lord_n which_o be_v already_o begin_v to_o be_v reveal_v upon_o thy_o inhabitant_n oh_o england_n but_o only_o by_o turn_v to_o the_o lord_n with_o their_o whole_a heart_n and_o by_o true_o humble_v themselves_o before_o he_o and_o by_o learning_n obedience_n to_o the_o gift_n of_o his_o spirit_n which_o have_v long_o strive_v with_o they_o for_o it_o be_v not_o a_o outside_n profession_n that_o will_v serve_v turn_n the_o lord_n have_v be_v long_o grieve_v therewith_o already_o and_o many_o have_v soar_v aloft_o above_o the_o measure_n of_o the_o gift_n of_o the_o spirit_n of_o god_n into_o a_o airy_a profession_n of_o high_a thing_n but_o have_v not_o have_v the_o life_n of_o what_o they_o have_v profess_v only_o have_v make_v their_o profession_n a_o cloak_n for_o their_o wickedness_n many_o of_o they_o and_o thereby_o the_o spirit_n of_o the_o lord_n be_v and_o have_v be_v grieve_v and_o he_o be_v now_o arisen_a to_o lay_v open_a their_o madness_n
