england_n authorise_v by_o act_n of_o parliament_n hold_v in_o the_o five_o and_o six_o year_n of_o our_o say_a late_o sovereign_a lord_n king_n edward_n the_o six_o entitle_v a_o act_n for_o the_o uniformity_n of_o common_a prayer_n and_o administration_n of_o the_o sacrament_n the_o which_o be_v repeal_v and_o take_v away_o by_o act_n of_o parliament_n in_o the_o first_o year_n of_o the_o reign_n of_o our_o late_a sovereign_a lady_n queen_n mary_n to_o the_o great_a decay_n of_o the_o due_a honour_n of_o god_n and_o discomfort_n to_o the_o professor_n of_o the_o truth_n of_o christ_n religion_n be_v it_o further_o enact_v by_o the_o authority_n of_o this_o present_a parliament_n that_o the_o say_a statute_n of_o repeal_n and_o every_o thing_n therein_o contain_v only_o concern_v the_o say_a book_n and_o the_o service_n administration_n of_o sacrament_n rite_n &_o ceremony_n contain_v or_o appoint_v in_o or_o by_o the_o say_a book_n shall_v be_v void_a and_o of_o none_o effect_n from_o &_o after_o the_o feast_n of_o the_o nativity_n of_o s._n john_n baptist_n next_o come_v and_o that_o the_o say_a book_n
aucthorized_a and_o appoint_v by_o your_o highness_n your_o heir_n or_o successor_n after_o the_o say_a letter_n patent_n to_o he_o or_o they_o make_v and_o deliver_v as_o be_v aforesaid_a shall_v have_v full_a power_n and_o authority_n by_o virtue_n of_o this_o act_n and_o of_o the_o say_a letter_n patent_n under_o your_o highness_n your_o heir_n or_o successor_n to_o exercise_v use_v and_o promote_v to_o any_o temporal_a or_o lay_a office_n ministry_n or_o service_n within_o this_o realm_n or_o in_o any_o your_o highness_n dominion_n before_o he_o or_o they_o shall_v take_v upon_o he_o or_o they_o to_o receive_v use_v exercise_n supply_v or_o occupy_v any_o such_o archbishopric_n bishopric_n promotion_n dignity_n office_n ministry_n or_o service_n shall_v likewise_o make_v take_v successor_n or_o that_o shall_v be_v receive_v into_o service_n with_o your_o highness_n your_o heir_n or_o successor_n shall_v make_v take_v and_o receive_v the_o say_v corporal_a oath_n before_o mention_v before_o the_o lord_n chancellor_n of_o england_n or_o the_o lord_n keeper_n of_o the_o great_a seal_n for_o the_o time_n be_v or_o before_o such_o person_n or_o person_n as_o by_o your_o highness_n your_o heir_n or_o successor_n shall_v be_v name_v and_o appoint_v to_o accept_v or_o receive_v the_o same_o and_o that_o also_o all_o and_o every_o person_n and_o person_n take_v order_n and_o all_o and_o every_o other_o person_n and_o person_n which_o shall_v be_v promote_v or_o prefer_v to_o any_o degree_n of_o learning_n in_o any_o university_n within_o this_o your_o realm_n or_o dominion_n before_o he_o shall_v receive_v or_o take_v any_o such_o order_n or_o be_v prefer_v to_o any_o such_o degree_n of_o learning_n shall_v make_v take_v and_o receive_v the_o say_a oath_n by_o shall_v be_v next_o adjoin_v to_o the_o place_n where_o any_o such_o offence_n shall_v be_v first_o commit_v any_o jurisdiction_n authority_n or_o usage_n to_o the_o contrary_a in_o any_o wise_a
